Grif's Haikus (Dedicated to Snoink)

Just a few Haikus I did for fun.

"Morning Peace"

Sleeping quietly.
Bothering no one at all.
Snoink comes to wake me.

"Walking down the hall"

Walking down the hall,
Oblivious to danger.
Snoink waits in ambush.

"Computer Woes"

Checking out this site.
I leave to use the bathroom.
Snoink replaces me.

Dude! I don't know how, but I just stumbled on these again. The first one was SOOOO funny. The other two are a bit more of a private joke. Very few people are going to know about that time where I put on a pig suit and jumped out and oinked at you. Or how, when you were on your computer, I would sneak on your computer because mine, at the time, was so slow that I didn't want to turn it on. XD

But the first one is something that I'm sure everybody can relate to. Though! You have to admit... you do miss me, don't you? ;)

I love how Snoink nit-picks even when the piece is dedicated to her. :P

Those are pretty nifty. Usually I'm the one in the family who writes stuff about other people; nobody loves me enough to write about me. ;)

Oh dear... hehehe...

When you do titles, you make sure that here's no frivalous punctuation in the title (thus, I took over your computer and took the period out) and you make sure that it's somewhat capitalized. ¡La poema no ha escrito en español! In Spanish, you can get away with titles such as this:

"Walking down the hall"

But in English? No. English comes from the Germanic side of things, so we have this fetish about capitalization ESPECIALLY in titles. So every word (except for the boring ones) gets capitalized.

"Walking Down the Hall"

See?

EDIT: And Skye is right. Maybe "Checking out this site"?

Checking YWS.

Technically, that's not really 5 syllables, at least the way I say it.

Checking[2] Y[1] W[3] S[1] = 7, not 5.

Just a thought.

Cute! I'm sure Snoink loves it. :D

I don't really know how to crit haikus, but those are good. The number of syllables are right.

Is there a reason nwhy 'Walking down the hall' isn't capitalized right?

Hearing these stories makes me realize that I never did anything with my childhood.
