Killing Time

This is an environmental poem the 'she' in the poem is Mother Nature displaying how we are killing the earth for our own greed.

She watches above us
Cries tears of sorrow
There will no more
Tomorrow

Every piece of litter
A bullet to her head
What should we have done
Instead?

War and Revenge
Human creations
Only make more
Frustration

Why do we kill?
When we can love
All we have done is
Get rid of

Take nothing but pictures.
Leave nothing but footprints.
Kill nothing but time.

~Motto of the Baltimore Grotto, a caving society

yeah I love it great theme.
I liked the way you wrote that peice at the start
explaining what you meant by 'she', but I think maybe
that could have gone at the end to build up the readers
curiousity.
I really liked this.
