say it already 8-3-1

In Poetry

8 letters, 3 words, 1 meaning.
I’d go to the depths of the ocean floor,
I’d climb a mountain twice as high as Everest
If it only meant that you would say it.
Music to my ears, are the fruits of your lips
I don’t want a paragraph, or an essay, or a ballad.
No song or book, do I wish
Only 8 letters would suffice.

Come melt my heart of ice,
Release me from my anguish,
Steal my sleep for it’s yours to take.
With one look I go into raptures
You’re my silent killer, yet it’s a death I’d happily die.
Why can’t you say it? Why can’t I?
Three words define what is and what could be.

It’s now or never, one day you’ll see,
If you take your time, I may not wait on thee.
And you’ll wonder “what if? What if?”
Procrastinate all you want,
Take too long and I’ll be gone.
We have time on our side so let’s not waste it
Its one meaning, it's you and I.

I liked it. It had so much emotion in it, very desciptive. I can feel the frustration.

8 letters, 3 words, 1 meaning.

I love the first line. I counted the words to "I love you." just to make sure. :D
Keep up the good writting!!! :)
