Hi, thank you for writing this poem. I don't really have the words to explain exactly what I like about it, but I do think the essence of it is very nice. It's a short and sweet poem, but carries so much meaning. The last two lines are definitely the star of the show. They carry sadness, because you're saying goodbye, but happiness, for you're finding something better. Great job!

I really like the poem. It was short sweet and enjoyable. Though when I first read then title then first thing that popped into mhead was a Harry Potter reference with Dobby saying he is a free elf. It is really relatable for a lot of people at least for coming out of school not necessarily in a permanent way, but still that thrill of summer vacation. This sweet little poems seemed to encase all of that thrill.
