First off, before we start, let me explain how I review!
-I read as I review. This way you're getting my pure, unfiltered thoughts as I read. Sometimes, that means that something I commented or critiqued on is actually answered later on in the text. I may say as much in my review, but everything in my review is there for a reason, so it's still something to keep in mind.
-I place emphasis on the introduction. I love good intros, and I believe that a great intro can help a weak story, and a weak intro can severely damage an amazing story. So, expect a paragraph or two on your first paragraph or two
-I quote a lot. Sometimes it's just to tell you that you have a typo (not often) or it's to give specific examples to what I'm talking about.
-I tend to ramble. That's just how I do! I've tried to change it, but my reviews are very much unfiltered reactions and critiques to what I'm reading.
-I will have overall thoughts. This will be at the end of the review and it'll be an overview of some of my points in the review and a general feel of the story.
-I want to have a conversation! Most importantly, I feel, is my want to have my review be the beginning of a conversation, not the end. Reply to my review, PM me, invite me to a WFP. Let's talk about your story! It'll be a fun time.
