Court Accountant, Knight Looseleaf (@looseleaf) followed closely behind with a Green Briefcase also looking a bit nervously at the windows.
A group of three eager YWSers had been eagerly chatting and stopped their conversation to watch the older knights. Knight Que (@Que) brushed off the last leaves off her armor and marched forward with a big grin.
"It's been a while!"
Knight Alliyah and Knight Looseleaf took a double-take, while news of Que's many adventures, missions, and mod-responsibilities had not gone unnoticed in the last few years, it had been four years since she had last appeared at the Great Hall. Knight Looseleaf check marked the latest logs and nodded.
"Knight Que - you have fought many battles with an endurance few knights can boast of! The next time you reach for a pint of kool-aid it will be from your very own jeweled chalice! Congratulations and HUZZAH! Now don't be a stranger, I have a feeling we will need your sword here again soon."
Knight Alliyah then motioned forward the eager three YWSers @NovemberCrow, @RangerofIthilien, @avimoon ... you have found our Knightly quarters and wish to become part of this noble order?" They each nodded.
"Then it is my honor to declare the three of you Squires - fight nobly, uphold our good-name, and review to the best of your abilities to defeat the foes in the Green Room. Once you have proven yourself by slaying ten new Green Room beasts and drafting up your Review Log come back with a link to be formally knighted! Best of luck my comrades, if you choose to partake in this journey, you will not regret it." - Knight Alliyah
Knight Looseleaf fished around in the green suitcase and retrieved three sets of new training knives "until you get proper weaponry this will suit you well, just be careful not to poke an eye out, and please remember these are not to be used as dinner cutlery."
Just then a loud whooooosh could be heard outside and the Great Hall doors rattled as a great beast or machine landed out of view. The knights assembled, @Roxanne@Spearmint@redcarnation@OrabellaAvenue@LuminescentAnt and @Hannah turned towards the door readying their weapons, some taking battle stances.
Just as a few were inching towards the door a beeping noise drew their attention back to the room, where in the center presentation floor of the Great Hall Knight Alliyah's stopwatch was beeping. But Knight Alliyah was no longer there. Knight Looseleaf too had vanished, but that Green Brief Case was still there, popped open with a single scroll of paper lying within.
Knight Que inched forward and picked up the paper reading it out loud....

A small black crow flew into the Great Hall, and before you could even blink an eye, a person with a scroll in their hand was standing in its place. "I'm back after ten reviews (and hoping that I did not mess anything up)," Kay announced, "it looks like I finally finished my squirehood."
Knight Liminality brought her horse to the stables, before she lugged a cart of white flags with her into the Great Hall. The rest of the white flags, taken from beasts in the Green Room she had bested at poker, were sitting in covered wagons at the gates. She had returned from a long, arduous journey, and looked around admiring how much the place had changed. Were the stone carvings even more polished than they were before?
Knight looseleaf, Court Accountant, strode into the the Great Hall, stretching her arms as she did so. It had been four, long months since she last entered the Great Hall, and there was a backlog of awards and knighthoods she was scheduled to bequeath. She sighed in frustration at her own terrible time management.
She looked about the Great Hall and smiled. In front of her was a gaggle of new recruits, eagerly waiting to become Squires. Knight looseleaf pulled out her trusty scroll from her satchel and cleared her throat. All eyes turned to her.
Four new faces congregated in front of Knight looseleaf and nodded.
"Am I correct in saying that you four would wish to join this noble order?"
Another round of nods.
"Wonderful. Therefore, I am pleased to declare you all Squires and dispatch you into the honorable fight against the beasts of the Green Room! Rest careful, yet courageous. You must prove yourself to this order by slaying ten Green Room beasts, and properly logging your escapades in your Review Log. These Training Knives should help with that. We anticipate your future success with great pride!"
Cheers erupted as the four new Squires faced the crowd and Knight looseleaf found the next task on her scroll.
"Squire NovemberCrow (@NovemberCrow) and @theromanticchemist?"
The two named stepped forward. They each held their own logs, which Knight looseleaf checked.
"NovemberCrow and theromanticchemist, it is my honor to welcome you into the Knights of the Green Room as Knight Kay and Knight Chem. You both have been valuable assets to our order as diligent and brave Squires, and we know you will make us equally or even more proud as Knights. This marks an incredible milestone for the Knights of the Green Room, as well, as Knight Kay is our 200th Knight!"
More cheers erupted. Knight looseleaf wrote another checkmark on her To-Do list.
"And please, let me know if you would like to be called by something else. As Court Accountant, I like to keep things correct."
Knight looseleaf and Knight Liminality made eye contact from across the hall, and the former motioned the other forward. Knight Liminality was dressed in a full Suit of Armor decorated with her Coat of Arms from her fabled battles.
"Ah, Knight Liminality. I heard you have been hard at work keeping the Green Room beasts at bay. I believe some rewards are in order."
The Court Accountant pulled a Jeweled Chalice and Chest of Silver from her satchel.
"For slaying 150, then 200, Green Room beasts, I hereby give these prizes to Knight Liminality. May your next battles be as successful as your previous ones!"
The sound of applause echoed through the mighty Great Hall as the new squires and knights returned to the Green Room. Knight looseleaf carefully placed her scroll back in her satchel, and ran to join them.
