Granted, but all your clones run away and misbehave and you get in trouble for it.

I wish my scone was lemon and blueberry instead of cranberry and orange.

Granted but it's rotten.

I wish I had angel wings to fly with.

Granted, but a cult forms around you and offer you animal sacrifices (sorry, that got dark. But hey, corruption).

They all use them for evil, as humans do. The one who can fly would drop puppies from high up in the air and watch them splatter, the one with laser vision would laser anything that displeased him, the one that could teleport would teleport young children to far off countries. The invincible guy robbed banks and killed people. So it goes.

I wish the world worked perfectly --no unhappiness, no death, no war, no poverty or disease, no hate-- but only for a period of eight years.
