From,
YWS.

Spoiler
A little late, but just barely.

Huge thanks to @Ignorance, @Rydia, @AlfredSymon, @VeerenVKS, and @ShadowVyper for sending out video clips! And then, of course, an even bigger thanks to @thewritersdream who made a wonderful poem that I unfortunately could not fit entirely into the video, so please take a look at it below.
A big apology to @Lava and everyone else who made a clip but was not able to send it on time. Sorry!
Another thanks to Ignorance who sang at the beginning with me (um...let's just say that I'm slightly tone deaf when it comes to singing, lol).
Shout out to VeerenVKS because he...kinda...yeah, you saw it.

Once again, huge thanks to everyone who participated and supported this project!

Happy 30th birthday, @Nate!
Hope you had a good one.

YWS Poem by thewritersdream:
Spoiler
You can always find a good way to spend your time.

In time of great despair and time of great thoughtfulness, you can always find a way to spend your time here.

The pages will excite you, you’d do a review or two. You’d hum as you go along, look at lyrics for a good new song.

As it’s own little world, as it’s own little town, YWS is safe and sound. It brightens a day and makes one laugh, and shout, HEY! I just got a review! I’m so thankful for you.

In a special sort of way, you can always find a way to spend your time.

Not a waste, not in haste, but time sublime, you can dream about the stars, that the ship would land in mars! You can hope for better days as you write and read stories and plays.

You can always find a good way to spend your time.

Welcomed, you are welcomed.

In this little town, there’s a tavern that is open, everyone is welcomed, no one is chosen. It’s bright and comfy, you never want to leave.

The people are friendly and you always feel recieved. You smile here and there as you say “Hi, how’s it going?” and you read each other’s work and go “Wow, this is amazing!”.

The parties never end as there is lots to do, anyone can come, for even the monkey’s do too.

There’s lots of places to go and to see, the green room, the storybooks, and clubs filled with glee, everyone is enjoying them, and feeling free.

For no matter where you come from around the real world, from America to India we all party here, it’s our little world, no matter from where.

From the depths of the sea to the highest mountain, our imaginations keep us, and bring us around, we go together and travel this world, let’s hope it will never end, but will only grow.

Super fun, super stars and a super admin.

Some days when the sun shines a little brighter you go to the places that make you feel brighter, that encourage you, or at least where you can write at.
And this place of brightness and happiness, for me and many alike, is the very place I’ve been writing of. It’s a place where we all voice our opinions, and our differences are shared and accepted. No one is shunned or rejected.

There is a stronger bond than other such sites, and a dream, to touch, and help and change that ignites and creates a fire to toast marshmallows around,

while we all sing funny songs and dance in shoes of poetry, and stomp boots on the written ground.

This is a place where we’re awarded stars for bringing out the stars in art. We are allowed to paint, a picture with words that can relate to help a mate.

It’s a beautiful world with a mission in hand to enhance and bring forth a time we won’t forget, we can grow in words and grow in sight, for how can we see everything? So why not see from another view?

The site is flowing with members, each one important. And each day more will come to add to the golden chain, we’re a family here and that’s the way it will stay, bonded together through an amazing thing: writing.

--- Dedicated to Nate, Happy Birthday! The site has truly been a bright light in my life and so many others!
And I must say the day I knew you were the best possible admin in the world was when I saw the comment you made where you said that the YWS was selling clothes and used the most beautiful metaphors describing how words really do clothe, it was pretty amazing! It told of your passion. Have a great birthday!

OH MY GOD. I THINK I MAY CRY.

Okay.. This really touched me. I'm not even Nate, and I was tearing up.

@VeerenVKS - Dude, you're killing me. Omg, marrying Nate the banana. XD

@Rydia is so pretty!! <333 Her accent is cute. *-*

@ShadowVyper is pretty too, and has a cute and quiet voice. :3

@AlfredSymon is.. Dude, you're so much younger than I thought you were. :o But you're cute and hilarious too. Singing happy birthday. xD

@Carina Mah bestie, you did a great job. I'm sorry I couldn't help that much, other than giving you my gross singing voice and my ugly face. I mean, the video came out looking great and I guess you is kinda sorta pretty too. >_> :P #gorgeouschica

And.. @Nate. You, sir, are downright amazing. You crack me up with you silliness; the April Fools joke, the "Test Storybook", the Review Day stuff. You amaze me with all the wonderful things you have done for our website. Our home. Yes, this is home. Thank you. <33

This is epic, even though I didn't get to help out on it.

@Carina You're a doll for thinking this up. It was even better than I imagined. I couldn't have seen this coming out better.

@Ignorance You said the words perfectly.

@VeerenVKS You brought humor to a different level with this. Better love story than Twilight.

All of the rest of you are awesome for helping out and awesome in general!

@Nate I'm sure you're already receiving so many notifications, but happy 30th birthday. Congrats for being born and for making such an awesome and wonderful website.

Oh yes, I cried on this. Big, manly tears broke my laptop, so I'm writing this on my phone.

Wow guys. I'm honestly not quite sure what to say. I've watched the video twice already, and I am truly touched. Thank you @Rydia, @ShadowVyper, @AlfredSymon, and @Ignorance, for the very kind and gracious words, and thank you @VeerenVKS for the banana! @Carina, thank you for putting this together; not only was this touching, but it was very well put together. I can't imagine how long it took to stitch the clips together, and the opening with the poem was great. @thewritersdream, what you wrote is excellent. I'm going to have to steal some of it for the about page if you don't mind :)

Also, thank you to everyone else who wished me a Happy Birthday on the YWS Club, on my profile, in a thread, and on my Facebook. I've been very much taken aback by it (in a good way).

First, all of you are quite welcome. YWS is and always has been a labor of love for me. I created this site 8.5 years ago, and, God willing, it'll still be here when each of you turn 30 as well.

Second, when I created YWS way back in 2004, I had no idea it'd be this successful. I just wanted to create a place that had a similar atmosphere to a site I belonged to when I was young, The Young Writers Club (TYWC). TYWC was a pioneering website for its time based in Turkey that brought together young writers from every corner of the globe. I made some good friends on that site, but it was unfortunately dead by 2004.

But, I also can't take credit for what YWS has become over the years. That distinction belongs to the people who made this video, the moderators, the reviewers, the storybookers, and the community at large. If it weren't for people like ElectricBlueMonkey, KayJuran, and Tessitore when YWS was created, this site would not exist today. I consider myself very blessed to be in the company of each and every single one of you.

Third, I feel bad! I wish I could take the time to thank each person individually for what they have done for the site, but when I begin to think of the last of names, my brain explodes. There's just so many great and awesome people on this site.

I also do strongly regret that I have not been able to spend as much time on YWS as I was once able to before school loans and jobs got in the way. But, I can certainly promise that this site will continue to exist for years to come, and that I shall endeavor to live up to the level of faith all of you have placed in me. This video, the birthday wishes, and so much else is immensely humbling.

It is an honor to run this site for you. Thank you for giving me that honor.

Oh dear, that was brilliant.

I wanted to say something more now, but literally I have no idea how to actually say anything (feelings were never my thing), so I'll just go with agreeing with everything the people in the video said - it is home c:
