You're driving down the road, the windows rolled down, the music blaring. School just let out, and now it's FINALLY summer time; it's FINALLY time to go back to the summer house!!!

Dani, Stella, Shannon, and Marie have been friends since high school. You? You guys are their children, and you've known each other since you were born. You live in different areas, but every summer you come back to North Carolina - you come back home. You, your siblings, your friends, your moms (no dads allowed, of course!!!) Have fun

Dani - Dani Conner lives with her husband, Michael, and three children in New York City. Dani is an artist and Michael a professional photographer, and are very "you are who you are, do what you want" kind of people, as well as parents.

Stella - Stella Anderson lives with her husband Nate and four kids in Chicago. They're really big with sports, and try to push their kids to do their very best and reach their fullest potential (best schools, best grades, star players, etc....) Stella loves her children to death, and often gets into fights with her husband about him pushing them too hard with sports and trying to insure their popularity

Shannon - Shannon O'Malley lives with her three children in Ireland. Her husband Martin passed away four years ago with his brother, Lakeland, in a car accident. One of her children is adopted, and they may or may not know it yet (you decide!) Shannon is tired quite often, seeing that she's a teacher by day and works at a bar by night. She has raised her children to be who they are, but be respectful, follow their moral code, and follow their heart.

Marie - Marie Dumas lives with her three children and her second husband, Leon, in California. Her and her husband Todd got a divorce twelve years ago, but he is of course still very involved with Marie and with the kids. Leon is always away on business, and Marie is a stay at home mom who devotes herself whole heartedly to her kids.

Appearance: She has brown hair with a little bit of red. she has tan skin and green eyes. She has a very sweet face and she is very stunning. She is about 5'6 and she is thin, very fit. She loves to wear vintage clothing and all her clothes are a shade of pink, or white. She is just so cute.
Personality: She is very bright and bubbly. She is just an all around happy person. She loves hugs and she does not mind being close to you. She does not have a lot of confidence though. So when she breaks down, she tends to stay to the side. She hates when people judge right off the bat. It drives her crazy. Kat is a pretty open book. You can always tell what she is feeling.
Likes/Dislikes: She loves to sing, that is her thing. She has a very beautiful voice and her mom and her dad are helping her go far. She loves to be with people and hates to be alone. She likes to dance and have a good time. She hates just sitting around.She dislikes rude people and complaining. When she is upset she puts the top down in bug and sings really loud as she drives.
Strengths/Weaknesses: She does not mind being put on the spot. She is calm and cool when that happenes. She does not like to be pushed around. She cannot stand up for herself . She gets upset very easily.
Up For Love?: Yes, she needs someone to keep up with her and build her up to be stonger.
Other: She plays the guitar and the piano. plays the When ever she upset, she plays the piano. She has a huge voice and it is amazing. Huge voice, little body. She is just so cute. she likes to wake up early. Very close relationship with her brother.

Appearance: Isaac is fairly tall, about 6'2". He has shaggy brown hair and hazel eyes. He has an aristocratic face, with distinct features. He has a small, lean build. Tends to wear khakis and sweaters.

Personality: Isaac is reserved and thoughtful. He does well and enjoys school, lacrosse, and reading. He rarely becomes the center of attention, preferring to stay on the outside. When involved, he is clever and witty. Isaac tends to be insensitive.

Likes/Dislikes: Likes: Lacrosse, reading, maths and sciences, engineering and golf. Dislikes: smoking, large parties, basketball, any language class and botany.

Strengths/Weaknesses: Isaac is a good listener and a thourough thinker. He is analytic and quick -witted. However, he can be insensitive and cold.

Name: Ruth "Ruthie" Anne Anderson

Appearance: Ruthie has naturally wavy, brunette hair that reaches the bottom of her back. She has hazel eyes, naturally very pink lips, delicate hands, distinct features, she's small with a lean build, and she stands at 5'8".

Personality: Ruthie is an intelligent, outgoing girl, and can get competitive when it comes to sports. Ruthie is an everyone's best friends, sweet girl, but the only time she likes the limelight is when she's playing sports. She has a good balance between serious and silly, but if you can get her to give you a smile, a genuine one, it'll light up the room.

Likes/Dislikes: Likes - Tennis, swimming, lacrosse, running, school, speaking french, the summer house, her friends, being able to relax...
Dislikes - Baseball, being lazy, thunderstorms, being cooped up for too long...

Appearance: Alec has dark brown eyes. Black hair the shows off his fairly pale completion. His hair has been dyed in parts with blue, mostly his fringe which almost covers his eyes. With bits of blue sprouting from the roots of his head. As for piercings, both his ears a pierce and he wears a septum piercing (nose).

Personality: Alec has never been taught love until his foster mum, Shannon, agreed to take him in. He is very thankful for her and the family.. Even though, sometimes he doesn't show it. He is kind, but shy. And is willing to take time to talk to someone, or help them out.. His appearance is very stereo-typical. He is actually a really good guy.

Likes/Dislikes: Dislikes snobby people, the sun, bullies, mostly people in general. Likes; His close friends and kittens. He also likes when people are nice to him. He loves music and bands like, Sleeping With Sirens, Pierce The Veil, Of Mice & Men.

Strengths/Weaknesses: Weaknesses; Making friends. But he is trying to work on that. Strength; Singing and playing guitar (i this I was saw someone said this too. Sorry, its just part of him, haha)

Autumn has light, wavy brown hair which she sometimes straightens it. She has a tan complexion due to the sun. She has her father's eyes-greenish gray which shows off her main feature. She's thin and tall for a girl- To be exact, 5"8. You can always see her around in a top and denim shorts. When it comes to clothes, she's very casual and simple about it. Autumn has a very flexible body as she's athletic.

Personality: Autumn's very laid-back and fun to be around with. She's exciting, very sporty but girly at the same time and not the one whose shy. She loves to be around people and is easily accepted due to her sense of humor. Autumn loves challenges and does it with a lot of enthusiasm. She very adventurous and loves the beach. Her favorite game is soccer and currently, is the best player at school. She's the type that doesn't get annoyed or angry for unnecessary situations and just plays along with it. A really weird thing of Autumn is that she never shows her feelings out if she's feeling down so you can always see her with a smile but to know if she's feeling down, she may be slightly avoiding you. Autumn would make a good leader because she's very supportive and caring.

Likes/Dislikes: Likes: Loves to around people and listen to them, play any sort of sport, sketch something in a while, go to the beach, mix random music, sleeping.

Dislikes: People who are short-tempered, being able to sit in one place doing nothing, being sad, people who're not outgoing.

Strengths/ Weaknesses: Strengths: Convinces others, manages to stay happy always, taking risks, studying, very competitive so she's always on the move, always accepts a friend's request.

Weaknesses: Avoiding others when upset, gets carried away in sad movies, can't manage to read 10 pages of a book continuously.

Name: Lakeland Rory O'Malley (His mother has called him Rory since the accident - says calling him Lakeland hurts too much. Most others still usually call him Lakeland)

Age: 17, nearing 18 (Autumn's Irish Twin )

Gender: Male

Appearance: Lakeland stands at 6" with a lean, muscular build. He hair is a dark brown, and his eyes are his fathers: green-gray rimmed with long, dark brown lashes. He has defined, prominate features and a strong jawline. His skin is naturally porcelain white, but when he gets out in the sun more he starts to gain a bit more of an olive tone. He typically wears practically shredded jeans and old t-shirts. Will most likely be caught with grease on his hands/arms or smudged on his face and in his hair

Personality: Lakeland is very big on living in the moment, and doesn't think too far ahead. He is pretty outgoing, but can also be the strong silent type - whatever fits the situation. He's not big on/doesn't know how to open himself up to people with his emotions, but his eyes always betray him, because they tend to show his every emotion. So typically, if he's sad or upset or angry he won't look at you or he closes his eyes. He's not afraid to laugh or to smile or joke or have fun, but can snap back to being serious with a blink of an eye. If you can get him to, he has a booming, contagious laugh and a brilliant smile. However, if you get on his bad side, it's like his entire face darkens and he just closes up. He can also get super protective, and he's very thoughtful and deliberate.

Likes/Dislikes: Likes - Relaxing, working on cars/bikes, repairing things, being outside, his siblings (including Alec!), making people smile, being around people, music
Dislikes - Idle hands, his dad being brought up, seeing his mom so worn out, the fact that his eyes betray his emotions

Strengths/Weaknesses: Strengths - working with his hands, repairing, getting people to smile, strong, and he's actually a really good singer, he just doesn't sing unless asked to or he's working on cars (his singing voice is a bit raspy/husky, so R&B or Jazz are his music of choice)
Weaknesses - Has to be doing something with his hands, planning ahead, he's possibly the furthest thing from being tech-savvy, and he's a bit old-fashioned

Other: He's had a dog, Shep, for three and a half years. He refuses to leave Shep in Ireland all summer, so he brings him with him. He's also coming on his motorcycle

Age: 18 (Susanne's fraternal twin)

Gender: Male

Appearance: Ira stands at 6'4", has wavy strawberry blonde hair and green eyes. Like his sister Liz, Ira dresses a bit vintage. Ira is an oxford, bow tie, sweater, dress pants and dress shirts kind of guy, and may be really bright one day then really dull the next. He doesn't look much like his sisters, except for their eyes, and he constantly says the worst part about it is that new people always think he's dating one of his sisters.

Personality: Ira is a bit slow to warm up. He's not shy, but he has a stutter, and is a little embarrassed when it comes to talking unless he knows you really well. Ira has a really bright personality, and is one of the happiest people you'll ever meet. He loves to make people laugh and will do anything for a smile. Ira is one of those people that you just love as soon as you meet. Ira is really sweet, but because of his stutter he can get really self conscious, and when he's upset/angry/frustrated/excited his stutter gets worse and frustrates him even more.

Likes/Dislikes: Likes - music, singing, vintage, making people laugh, making people smile
Dislikes - His stutter, snow, when people he loves are upset, when people confuse him and one of his sisters for a couple

Strengths/Weaknesses: Strengths - Ira is a great singer, can play any stringed instrument, lights up a room, good at making people laugh/cheering them up

Appearance: Susanne is 5'7" and petite with natural wavy, brunette hair. She has green eyes to match her siblings', and olive skin to match her little sister Liz. However, Susanne differs her siblings in fashion sense. Susanne goes for more of a vintage-modern-girly-rocker look.

Personality: Susanne is probably the most outgoing person you will ever meet. She talks to anyone and everyone. She calls it "networking." Susanne is incredibley nice, and is very genuine. She's very frank and will just say whatever is on her mind without a second thought. She's an aspiring fashion designer, and has books and books filled with sketches, fabrics, etc. Susanne is a very loud person, but not to the point of being obnoxious, though she usually knows when to shut up. However, Susanne can be a little childish when it comes to being mad at people. If you upset her or say something that offends her, she gives you the silent treatment and if you talk to her she just....stares at you.

Likes/Dislikes: Likes - fashion, designing, sketching, magazines, her brother and sister, the beach, swimming, running, meeting new people, being with people
Dislikes - when she can't quite get a design right, being bored, bullies (she grew up side by side with Ira, watching him be bullied for his stutter)

Strengths/Weaknesses: Strengths - Susanne is surprisingly strong for her small stature, she has great endurance, she's very creative, she's great with fashion, she's great with people, and she has the most energy you'll ever see in one person
Weaknesses - she gets offended easily, doesn't know how to slow down, isn't very musical

Name: Sophia “Soph” Jane Dumas

Mom: Marie

Age: She just turned 17

Gender: Female

Appearance: Soph has wavy pale blonde hair that falls halfway down her back and pale blue eyes. She’s around 5’4’ with an athletic build and very lightly tanned skin.She loves dressing up whenever the opportunity comes around but can’t stand wearing high heels (because she always stacks it and people laugh at her) and always just sticks to some kind of flats (which isn’t very helpful to her because she’s not exactly on the tall side.)She’ll wear just about anything most of the time but she loves her faded pair of green sneakers and is rarely seen without an engraved wooden bracelet that was a gift from her father.

Personality: Soph is a very smart girl who tries to make the best of every occasion. She’s very sweet when meeting new people and can often come off as a little shy. Once you get to know her though she can be really fun and thoughtful. Also when she’s talking to people she does tend to avoid the topic of herself as much as possible, preferring to talk about the other person and only really opens up around people that she’s close to (sometimes she doesn’t even realise that she’s doing it.) Soph does photography in her spare time and loves getting outdoors and taking pretty pictures. She likes to see the best in people but is not overly naive. She’s not so great at defending herself and can usually just brush off insults that come her way but cannot stand when people insult her friends or her family. Though Soph does like being outside (especially when she’s at the beach house) but isn’t overly fussed if she has to stay inside as she’s very imaginative and can always find something to keep herself entertained. She loves her family more than anything and though she pretends that it hasn’t the divorce has shaken her more than she’d like to admit.

Likes/Dislikes: Soph likes animals, reading, taking photos/photography, the summerhouse, her friends and her family, rain, dancing, listening to music and karaoke (she’s not the most amazing singer in the world but she enjoys it and she doesn't have a terrible voice.)
Soph dislikes high heels, people bossing her around, people insulting her friends and family being stuck in big crowds of people, Volleyball (she’s pretty terrible at it) and doing nothing.

Strengths/Weaknesses: She’s pretty smart and knows how to take amazing photo’s. She’s sweet and gets along with most people. She can give really good advice.
She doesn't talk back to people when they insult her- instead she just brushes it off. She’s not very good about talking about herself. She doesn't have very good hand-eye coordination. She's not dealing with the divorce too well even though she pretends that she is.

Appearance: James has blonde hair like his sister and also bright blue eyes. He is way more tan his sister and is aways smiling. James is very fit and is about 6'1. He loves to surf, so he is in swimming trunks and a t-shirt. He does not really care all that much about how he looks though. He just throws on what ever.

Personality: He is very relaxed and fun to be around. He does not really care what we do as long as the people he is around are having a good time. He is quick to stand up for the ones who are being picked on. He hates it when people are upset. James is very good hearted and sweet. He is very smart, but he is not one to brag at all. He loves to joke around and if you do not know him all that well, it could come off as rude. He never means to though. He feels really bad if he hurts someones feelings.

Likes/Dislikes: Likes to surf, be out side, watch TV, chill with friends, swim and just have fun. Dislikes people who are cold, being inside all the time and seeing someone get hurt.

Strengths/Weaknesses: He is good at listening to people and making them feel comfortable and smart. He can sing, but he makes himself sould bad. He can dance though. He cannot play anything. He has tried and failed so many times. He does not like it when people make fun of his sister. Even though she can handle herself fine, she gets so mad.

Other: He does not like his step dad at all. He wants him to be there for his mom and his sister and he is never there.

Name: Kyle "Kye" (rhymes with sky) Dumas

Appearance: He's tall and skinny with dirty blonde hair. He wears mostly printed tee shirts and jeans and baseball caps.

Personality: He is very kind and understanding. His smile and his laugh are just so contagious you can’t help joining in. He really admires his older siblings and always asks for advice from them. He enjoys being around people but has become more secluded in the last years. He is very hard on himself and ends up hating himself if anything goes wrong. He thinks it is his fault that his parents separated. All in all, he’s a great person to be around.
Likes/Dislikes: He loves to draw, skateboard, and surf. He hates people who have pity on him and places where he feels enclosed.
Strengths: He’s very strong and very smart. He is very agile and knows lots of cool tricks (like back flips, cool jumps, etc.) which he mostly uses to show off (see weaknesses) but can come in handy in a time of need. He can think through almost any situation. When he was younger he was extremely talkative and could talk intelligently to both kids and adults alike. Due to his parents' situation though, he is slowly becoming very solitary and depressed.
Weaknesses: He also shows of in everything. He would do anything from something dangerous, to something embarrassing, to something plain stupid, if he wants to show off. He is also very gullible and can fall for tricks if he’s not careful.
Up For Love?: Sure... but he's too young for any of the other character
Other: He won't go anywhere without his sketchbook which he guards with his life.
