Personality: Geneva is a big rival of her sister. Where Ruthie is weak, Geneva is determined to excel. Where Ruthie excels, Geneva tries to do better or avoids it. Therefore, Geneva is a big party girl. As opposed to being interested in true friends, she is determined to make everyone she can like her. She is charming and flirtatious, but rather dull and unintelligent when one actually talks to her. She is a huge daddy's girl, as she is an exceptional baseball player, his favourite sport.

Dislikes: All manner of sciences and maths, swimming competitively, and animals.

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Appearance:

She has light hazel eyes and slightly highlighted brown hair that falls past her breastbone. She has a few freckles (she prefers the term beauty marks) on her face. She is medium height and semi-tanned, with a teasing smile and athletic figure. She has a small cute mole on the back of her thigh.

Personality: She is right in the middle between her sisters. She can get a little fed up with their constant competition, but most of the time leaves the room when they get in their jealous fits. She works part-time over most summers and during school as a lifeguard. She's very carefree and humorous compared to her sisters, and her competitive nature seems to only butt its head when she is playing tennis on the Wii. She is very sporty, and she is the captain of her school's swim team and a member of the track team. She is a huge tom boy and loves her beaten and rusted turquoise truck that she named Donald Duck (or Donny) after her favorite cartoon character.

Likes/Dislikes:
Likes: Track, swimming, Wii Sports, video games, novels, watching football, hiking, her truck, music, animals (mostly big dogs), tanktops
Dislikes: Small spaces, cigarette smoke, spiders, golf, modern pop culture/music, salsa

Strengths/Weaknesses:
Strengths: Swimming, running, jumping, CPR, and math
Weaknesses: Cooking, history, common coordination, baseball, basketball

Up For Love?: Yep

Other: She will be driving her truck to the beach house and she has a bad habit of running into stuff and bruising.

If Geneva gets one more text, I'm- before I could finish the thought, her phone began buzzing again.

A smile crossed her face when she read the text, the blue glow reflecting off her face. Sliding my own phone into the pocket of my capris, I headed for the front door so I could sit outside on the porch swing.

Just as my hand touched the door knob, my mother's voice sang, "Kids, who's here!?"

And wouldn't you know it, the sound of tires on gravel became evident. Swinging the door open, the footsteps of my siblings approaching, I walked out onto the porch and down to the driveway.

The gravel dug into my bare feet, but at the moment I didn't quite care. I peered into the tinted window of the car, and smile graced my face when I saw who stepped out.

*Anyone can jump in now, I'll bring Lakeland in in a little bit :)*

I sat silent in the car looking out the window as Shannon and Autumn were laughing about something, I was too busy listening to my Playlist of Pierce the Veil. We have been traveling for ages, on plane and in the car. It's a long trip from Ireland to Chicago. Mom told us how wonderful it's going to be to meet her old friends and their children again.

I'm not really a big fan on people, I'm shy and awkward and always mess up my sentences. So most of the time, I just don't talk. Also, people back home can be very judgmental. I wasn't born and raised in Ireland, the people shipped me there and sent me to many different homes. But, I would run. What was surprising enough is that I didn't run from Shannon, I liked it there. She made me feel like, for once, I had a home, a real home. So, I stayed.

"We're almost there!" Mom called to us. I could see Autumn getting more excited. There was a figure up ahead as he drove up the driveway. Probably around Autumn's age. I didn't recognize until we were closer. It was Ruth.

As soon as the car stooped Autumn was already out hugging the girl, "Ruthie!" Squealed a giggling Autumn. I rolled my eye smirking and got out. Ruth slung her arm around my neck.

"Good to see you." I patted her back awkwardly.

"Hug me properly.. It's been too long." She laughed. I wrapped my arms around her and squeezed her close, lifting her legs off the ground. She giggled while squealing. Autumn laughed with us as mom got out of the car.

"Where's that mother of yours?" She said talking Ruth out of my arms and enfolding her in a bear hug.

"SHANNON!" Came a loud voice from the porch. My mothers eyes lit up as they race to greet eachother.

"I guess, I am getting the bags." I said walking to the car boot. Hmm, I wounder when Lakeland will be here? A motorcycle sound echoed in the distance, speek of the devil! I thought as I grabbed some bags.

Autumn

Well, to be very frank, I was so excited. We were going to meet up with all our old friends especially Ruth. I wonder if she's got a crush or a boyfriend yet? God, I really have to ask her!

We heard a distant motorcycle and I knew Lakeland would be here any second. That brother of mine. We always has to do it his style, didn't we? I still remember telling mom that it wasn't fair that Lakeland would get to come on his own while I couldn't. Anyway, we're here. That's what matters!

Ruth grabbed my hand. "Dude, let's just get out of here. Otherwise we'll have to drown ourselves in this mother talk."

"So right. Where are the others?" I ask, curiously. None of them had even come to see us.

"Geneva is as usually, 24/7 on her cell phone, Isaac must be reading something and Leanna must be watching football. You know how they are." she gives me a funny look.

"Mmhhmm. And what were you doing?" I grin.

"Silently praying that Geneva doesn't get another text but that buzzing always seems to break my prayers." she gives a small laugh. "But since you're here, I could finally tell you everything!"

"Yeah, but we need the other girls too. So let's just hang out in the porch-"

Before I could complete, I hear a huge sound of a motorcycle engine and realize Lakeland's here. Ruth runs off to see him with me sticking right behind her. And just like I guessed, I see a tall, muscular guy on the door. He's talking to Alec and see's me and Ruth making our way towards him.

"Hey, you guys!" he says, and gives Ruth a light hug. She smiles.

Just then, Isaac, Geneva with Leanna screaming on top of her lungs.
"Sheesh! They were so dumb! They missed such an easy goal! Did you see that?!" she says, looking at me and I shake my head a little.

"Leanna, keep your voice down." Stella says, and smiles towards us.

Lakeland taps on my shoulder and face him. He knows I was upset, but he even knows I'm not now. I pretend not to talk to him but he just gives me a stupid grin.

"Oh, fine!" I say, grumpily and hug him. I have missed him. Even if it was only 2 days.

"I knew you would let it go. You always have."

"And that's why you always enjoy the freedom because 'I let it go'." I pout a little.

"Hey Autumn." I hear a familiar voice and realize its Geneva.

"Hey. Long time?" I say, placing my arm around her neck. "How's your cell phone?" I wink.

Susanne was in the front seat with mom and Ira and I were in the back. The radio was turned on very loud and Ira and I were belting out the lyric. My mom turns it down and laughs at us. "Okay you too, we are almost there." She says. We do not talk until we see the beach house, then we scream and race out of the car. Ruth runs to me and hugs me.

"I have not seen you in so long." I tell her.

"I know, it is crazy." She says, smiling.

I walk over to Alec and wrap my arms around him as well. "Great to see you as well." I tell him, a smile bright on my face. Ruth's sisters and her brother come out of the house and we all scream and run to them. I hug Leanna and Gevena. Isaac walks over and I greet him with a hug. I see Lakeland getting of his bike and I smile running over to him. I hug

him before he even gets his helmet off. "Hey, you." I say.

"Hey, Liz." He says laughing and taking his helmet off.

"Liz, come help with the bags." My mother calls. I turn and walk back to the car and grab my two pink bags and run into the house. Ira helps get them into my room and I sigh.

"I have a lot of stuff." I say. Ira nods, and laughs.

Everyone travels back into the lake house after we get all the hugs out of the way. This beach house gets more beautiful every year. I walk into the living room and spin around. "This year is going to be even better than the last." I say to every one.

"I don't know Liz, last year was pretty great." Ruth said.

"Last year was amazing." I say, smiling. "This year is going to be even better." As I speak, the door bell rings. We all fly to the door to see who it is.

"Dude honestly! Turn that thing off!" I cried, covering my ears. "That's a disgrace to music!" James laughed and turned around in his seat to hit me with his jacket.
"Chill Kye, just because the only music you'll listen to is classical..."
"That's not true! But at least I listen to music and not people yelling their heads off!"
"Just quit it guys!" exclaimed Sophia who had been staring dramatically out the window. "We're almost there anyhow." She turned again to stare out the window.
James shot me a mocking face then turned back around in the passenger seat. He seemed totally ready for the beach and for his friends wearing flip-flops, a bright tee shirt, and shorts. He was cool like that. I stared down at my black tee shirt and jeans; I wasn't dressed for vacation. I picked up my sketchbook which had remained undisturbed on my lap for the past half-hour or so. The bumps in the road had made it really hard to draw. As I scanned my sketch from different angles I began to like it better. It had started out as a hand reaching as if it was trying to come out of the paper, but the bumpy road had made my pencil swerve giving my image a distorted look almost as if it was fading. I sudden bump jolted me from my daydreaming.
"We're here!" cried Soph. "I can't wait!" As soon as the car stopped rolling, she leaped out and ran for the house along with our mom. James and I stayed behind to take our bags.
We rang the doorbell and a girl opened the door. Several other girls came over and hugged Soph. James dropped his bags by the steps and went to join a group of kids watching football. Mom went to say hi to her long-time friends. And I stood, in the middle of the room, completely ignored. I dropped the luggage by the stairs. All these other kids were older than me, some of them a LOT older. I knew some of their names, but never really bothered myself remembering them all year. Only during the summer would I know their names. Annoyed, I hugged my sketchbook to my chest and made my way through the kitchen and out the back door. I sat on the soft sand while I decided what to draw next. Soon my hand moved over the page drawing lines here and there and shading in the spaces in between. An image began to appear. It was a bunch of people laughing and talking on one side. Then there was a wall in the middle. And a confused lonely boy on the other side. Scared, I flipped the page. No one should see that, no one at all.

Lakeland

I sped down the road well past the limit, trying to catch up with the rest of my family. I had lost them a while back when I had to stop for a bathroom break. Luckily, Shep is with them, so he's probably there by now....unless they forgot and left him in the car again.

The thought caused me to increase the speed of my motorcycle, the sound of the engine coursing through the open air.

When I began to recognize the neighborhood, I slowed down so I wouldn't get chewed out by mom....again.

A smile reached my lips when I saw some of my old friends standing in the driveway chattering away, though it looked like Ruth and Autumn were slowly walking away.

"Hey Alec," I said with a smile, despite the fact that I still had my helmet on.

As Alec returned the greeting, from the corner of my eye I saw Ruth and Autumn approaching me.

"Hey you guys!" I say, giving Ruth a light hug, careful seeing that I was still on my bike.

When cheering comes from inside the house and everyone turns to look, I take the oppurtunity to tap Autumn on the shoulder. The second I see her face I can tell she's not mad anymore, and a triumphant grin crossed my face.

"Oh, fine!" She said grumpily, grabbing me in an awkward hug, my bike getting in the way.

"I knew you would let it go. You always have." I say with a soft chuckle.

"And that's why you always enjoy the freedom because 'I let it go'." She replied, sticking her bottom lip out in a pout.

"Hey Autumn." Geneva says, pulling her attention from me.

Taking my chance to finally get off the bike, I swung one leg over, only to be ran into by someone, their arms snaking around me.

"Hey, you." The person says. Looking down, I glance her over, thankful my helmet hid my eyes. She sure has grown a lot since last summer....or maybe that's just my imagination?

"Hey, Liz." I say with a laugh as I pull my helmet off.

"Liz, come help with the bags." Dani calls. She turns on her heel and goes to grab her bags, then disappears with Ira into the house.

Setting my bike up, I rest my helmet on the seat, planning to take care of it later, and head inside.

**EVERYONE: Just so you all know for interactions with Ira: stutters usually occur during vowels (aeiou) and/or sub-vowels (wy) :)**

Ira:

After helping Liz and then Susanne with their bags, I put mine in my room, resting them on the bed to be unpacked later.

I headed down the stairs just as the doorbell rang, and practically everyone rushed over to see who it was.

I smiled as the Dumas' came in, Kyle retreating to the depths of the house, realizing that I hadn't said a word to anyone yet....and wan't sure if that was a good or bad thing.

As we all settled in in the living room I ran my hand through my hair, unsure of where to sit as Susanne and Liz huddled together with some of the other girls.

A few of them looked up at me, and my breath caught in my throat as I tried to remember if I knew all their names. I let out a breath when I realized I did.

"W-wa-what are w-we w-wa-wah-watching?" I say, and as my w's caught in my throat I could feel a warm blush creeping onto my cheeks.

Everyone was walking inside, so I decided to grab Shep from the car. Shep is Lakelands dog. He yaps a lot, but he is cute enough. Lakeland and mom had a debate about bringing him, he won, of course. He goes nowhere with out it.

I walked over to the car and opened the door, "Hey boy." I cooed at the dog. He jumped up to my thighs as I petted his head. "It's been a long drive hasn't it?"

It may be weird, but I prefer the compony of a dog, than to humans. I just, well, I haven't seen them in a while, and well, I am very very awkward. Like extremally. Shep started licking my fingers and nudging his head in my ribs as I sat down. He barked a little and got comfy on my lap.

I wiped my slobbery fingers on the dogs fur and laughed. "No more kisses. Silly dog. I bet Lake thinks we've forgotten you." Shep yelped at him name, "Do ya wanna see him? Huh? Huh?" I ruffled his coat of fur.

"Alce!" Someone called me from the porch.

"Come on, Shep." I said picking him up, "Someone is calling us."
