What is Sanctum?

Sanctum is a community-wide storybook. In other words, it's a world built by you and others. Feel free to start a new thread in any of the Sanctum forums creating a new story set within this world. When creating a thread, please note whether it's okay for other people to join your story.

Creating a new character, race, or town

To create a new character, you have the option of posting your character's profile in the "General Chat & Character Profiles" forum. In addition, though, you can even create new races and towns. To create a new race, simply use it in a new story. If you want, create a thread about this race in the aforementioned forum. To create a town, make a thread for that town in the applicable forum.

What's the time period? Level of technology?

Have you watched Legend of Korra? If so, pretend that Sanctum City is a bit like Republic City. In other words, Sanctum is at the crossroads of the past, present, and future. In the towns and villages, the old ways still hold true. But in Sanctum City, there are new technologies being developed all the time.

Rules?

Right now, no rules except to not be a jerk and to keep it PG. No foul language, extreme gore, or adult situations.

How wonderful!
This is our routine. Day and night, all we do is survive; it never lets up. He tells me how these streets were crowded with people just going about their lives.. must've been nice.~Ellie

Might I inquire where to upload the theme music I'm creating for the various sections? I can just ah, post it in the actual section.

You're new? Great seas! Why haven't you gone to the Buddy System yet?

You're dealing with writers. The words "normal" and "usual occurrence" do not compute.

Good old Sanctum! I can't wait to strap my fists to my back again. ;) (They could be brass knuckles; you never know.)
