Pro-accounts are back!

That's right! If you so desire, you can now purchase a YWS Pro-Account. To do so, click on "Become a Supporter" in the menu of links at the bottom of the page.

What does a Pro-Account do? To be honest, not much; at heart, it's really just a way to recognize donations to the site. In return for purchasing a pro-account, you get a nifty supporter badge that'll show up in the forums, on your profile, and a few other places.* You also get the option of turning off ads. By default, this option is set to "Ads Off." But, if you want, you can still set it to "Ads On" by going to Settings then Preferences.

There are two options for pro accounts. The first is a recurring subscription that renews automatically at $3 per month. Of course, you can cancel at any time; including even right after you buy it. The second is a one-time charge of $5, which lasts for 31 days.

If you wish, you can also choose to donate by clicking the donation link on the "Become a Supporter" page.

Last but not least, everything is now updated automatically. In the past, a purchaser of a pro-account had to wait until I activated their pro-account. This is no longer true, although delays may still exist when your payment is pending.


* Supporter badge doesn't show up in all these places quite yet. Pretty tired at the moment, so I'll have to get to it once I get some sleep.

I suggest you put the "Help YWS grow" on top of the list of Why's - I'm rather sure, from what I've seen, that it's the thing members think of most when they buy it :3

Also there's no button for the lifetime thing, which I guess should be there, in case someone'd, say, wish to be recognised as a supporter till the end of their life ^^

Which colours relate to the different donating levels? I know light blue is the $3 one.

I am currently dead broke. No really. I don't know where my food is coming from the next two months however, depend on me for a donation come summer and hopefully a job!
