Welcome to Silver Lake Academy!

We'll be accepting students for the new school year, so feel free to pick up an application form located at the front office.

"Silver Lake Academy is one of the nation's leading boarding schools. It is a private college-prep school that offers girls and boys aged from 9th grade to 12th grade a challenging education, set in a home-like atmosphere. What sets us apart? Academics - Our challenging academic program- including 17 Advanced Placement (AP) courses- helps give our students a competitive edge..."
------------------------------------------

You fold up the information form, after finishing reading the text above. You look up and notice the tour guide for the school has stopped in a brightly lit corridor, and is now taking questions from your tour group. Raising your hand, you ask, "What does the form mean when it says the students here have a competitive edge?"

The tour guide, a tall 4th year at the school, smiles. You shiver, getting an odd feeling. His smile is almost... Cold.

"At Silver Lake, we don't just have a competitive edge in academics, or sports. Next question?" His eyes glint as he stares at you, before moving on to the next person.

You arch your eyebrow, wondering if it's too late to back down from entering the year at the boarding school. Something feels odd.

Beth Ann: School Grounds

I have to admit: Silver Lake Academy was pretty impressive, and slightly intimidating. It was so... Huge.

As I rolled my luggage up the cobblestone walkway, my polkadotted suitcase bumping and twisting as it hit each rock, I tried not to run into the new students surrounding me. We made our way slowly up to the school's massive double doors, attempting to stay warm as the chilly, early autumn wind nipped at us teasingly. A few times on the journey, I had to shut my mouth because I kept gawking at the large grounds, and my jaw would literally drop.

While I was still admiring the mountainous views, the group of first years in front of me had apparently stopped their trek without my knowledge. I continued to walk. Straight into the back of a student. I stumbled backwards while my suitcase and cosmetics bag flipped over as they caught on the cobblestones.

"Oh, poop," I mumbled, flustered as I regained my balance. "I'm so sorry!"

Take it from there, peeps!

I shall be using a girl from my novel. Daughter of Aphrodite and Poseidon, yo. 8)
She looks like this...but with really purtty green eyes.

Rayah.

Rayah: School grounds

I walk through the grounds, almost every boy staring at me, and resist the erge to flip them off. Sighing, I glance around at the scenery. Why would my dad even think about sending me here?

A girl bumps into me right as I'm making my way to my dorm, "I'm so sorry!" She exlaims. I jump, startled, and take a deep breath as I help her pick up her bags, "S'Fine."

I flash a small smile, my half smile, and ignore all the guys gawking, "I'm Rayah.." I start, biting my lip as I hold my hand out, "You are?"

Beth Ann: School Grounds

"You are?" Rayah asked.

I gathered all my stuff together, then responded, "I'm Beth Ann." I pushed back a blonde curl out of my eyes, then smiled warmly.

"It's nice to meet you, Beth Ann," she replied.

I beamed again, then started up a conversation as our group of first years began walking again into the beautiful school.

Beth an was nice, someone I havent met in a while. She starts a conversation and I do my best to pay attention. A group of senior boys pass us and I smile, "Beth Ann," I chuckle, "any of them cute?"

She shrugs, smiling back, "The one on the left."

I nod, "So true."

We start walking to lunch together, the sun beaming down on us as we do so.

Beth Ann: Feast Hall

The first years were assigned to sit at our own table at lunch, so Rayah and I took a seat next to eachother on the long bench.

As I curiously looked around, I was awed once again. I've always loved architecture, and the one in this school was stunning.

Suddenly, Rayah nudged me as someone settled down in the empty spot next to me, making me bring my gaze down from the ceiling. She startled me a bit.

Aw, poop. You know what I just realized, Pix? Your Chit-Chat is called SILVERStone ACADEMY. Darn it! Silver Lake and SilverStone sound awfully alike! I should probably change that... :/ Sorry, I didn't see your Chit-Chat post. :( Silver Lake Academy is a setting in one of my books, so I thought it would be good to use, but you kind of beat me to it, Pix! Haha

Elliot: School Grounds

Half asleep and absorbed in my own thoughts, I stumble along with the other first years until reaching the cafeteria. It's only then that I look up and realize that socialization would probably benefit me in the long run, lest I want this school to end up like the last.

I sit at one of the tables, next to two people I barely notice, before thinking,I probably should have asked, shouldn't I? Clearing my throat, I look to the two girls and force a polite and apologetic smile.

"Sorry, you don't mind if I sit here, do you?" I ask, not really caring if they did. After all, it's not like our names are on the seats. Wait...

I check, sure I look like a fool, before glancing back up at the two. Yeah...It's gonna be an interesting year.

"Daddy the one in England is bigger. I simply do not understand why I had to fly all the way over here to go to school. '

"Honey you needed a challenge. The other school was not up to your level." He said.

"Father do not flatter me. " I say."Love you lots bye." I quickly hang up the phone.

I head to my dorm room and lay all my things down. I notice that there is another suit case on the bed on the other side of the room. "She is going to find out I am not to good at sharing." I say to myself.

Hm. We should. PM me. I don't know how much time we'd have though.

Rayah: Lunch

A boy sits next to us and I glance at him, "S'fine," I flash a small smile, looking back at Beth Ann. She looks back at me, "You're not eating?"

I shake my head, "Nah. I'm afraid the food here will make me fat..."

"You're not fat..." She smiles.

I nod and wink, "Exactly my point."

Emily

I finish in packing and deside to go get some food. I have not had anything all day. I did not want to get sick on the plane, so I did not want to eat. I eventually find the dining hall and get a bite to eat. I look around a try to find a place to sit. I see three people and walk over. "Hi, do you mind if I sit here?"

"Sure." One girl says.

''I'm Emily." I say, taking a seat. "And who are you all?" I ask

Brianna : School Grounds

I stand in front of the school in awe. This school is absolutely beautiful. I take a deep breathe, and walk through the doors.

I sign in and find my dorm. I'm rooming with some girl named Emily. Maybe we can be friends, or even best friends. Her things are already in the room. I throw my things on the bed and walk out to go get food.

Before the others can tell me their names, arother girl asks to sit. Once they nod, she sits next to me. "I'm Brianna." She says.

"Emily." I say.

"Emily as in Emily Payne?" She asks.

I nod, a bit confused. "Yes, how did you..'' I begin.

She hangs her head a bit. "I'm you new room mate."

"Oh my gosh." I say. "How wonderful." I lie.

Small note to those who know about Gemini, the Gemini I play here is just after she discovers her powers. She doesn't know about Jason or Rayah or The Juggernauts in general. Her family isn't dead as of right now.

Gemini Randa

I cracked my knuckles as I began to approach the school, starting freshman at Silver Lake Academy. I opened the doors to the school and looked around at the eyes who see me, I give a wide smile and knew immediately that things would be different this year.

"This school is mine." I thought.

I soon find me a locker to throw my bookbag into, tapping off one of the locks and then clearing out the locker. I was going to take as I please, no one would stop me for as long as I had my power, once I was done I shut the locker I took the lock and put it back on and made my way down the hall. It was about lunch time now, and I was getting hungry. But the cafatria food sucked, the real reason I was going there, was to make my presence known. That Gemini Randa was not to be ****ed with.

Doom : School Grounds

I breathed in the fresh air as I slowly walked to the huge doors. I wasn't excited. It would be another stupid school year with stupid kids and stupid books to be stupidly reading.
At least, that's what she said. (AHAHAHAHAHA.) Grim would've loved this place. Of course, always an optimist.
Doom pulled open the doors and walked inside. It was magnificent, but not nice. She signed in, and then continued up to her dorm to set her black luggage on the ground. She stared at the names on the other luggage. Rayah and..... Beth Ann?
Doom sighed. Stupid names belong to stupid people, but oh, what the chicken was wrong with names?
She walked into the cafeteria and sat down with some random people. I overheard them talk stupidly loudly. Brianna and..... Emily. Also stupid names. Too simple. People need more complex names.
I sulkily stared at them, my lips in a tight frown and my black hood covering my stupid hair. "Stupid" I said.

This planet has - or rather had - a problem, which was this: most of the people living on it were unhappy for pretty much all of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movement of small green pieces of paper, which was odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy.
