As I walked to Journalism, I saw a hispanic guy walk up to me. Not again with the "Oh hi, you must be new! Or a damn transfer from the bad side of town..." thing. It was enough.
I picked up my pace, trying to get away. But I wasn't that lucky.
"Hello," he said.
Turning on my heel, I plastered a smile on my face. "Hey,"
Journalism. Not too. Far. Say you gotta go.
"Where are you headed?" he asked.
"Journalism..."
"I'm going there too. You seem new, I haven't seen you before... do you need help getting there?"
He was just like Allen, nice, beating around the bush. I'm from Lincoln. And everyone knows that.
But I had a thing with hair, and I liked his. Black, thick and curly.
"Uh, sure."
