“So your dad is the captain, right?” Lindsey says appearing again from the water.
I nod, "Yeah."
Then a rush of nervousness comes over me as the ship swerves slightly.
I gotta go... and let them think what they want about it.
Slowly I make my way out of the stairs to the pool and pull myself out.
Will and Lindsey look up the me and ask, at the smae time, "Where are you going?"
What do I tell them?
I don't even know what's wrong.
All I know is I have to get out of here.
But I don't let them see how freaked out I'm starting to feel and grin at them.
"I'm going to go for a walk and leave you two lovebirds alone."
M words have the desired effect as they both blush staring at each other as I walk away.
Then I walk to my Bungee spot on the deck, probably my only safe palce at the moment and stop to stare over the railing for a while.
Then I slowly begin to climb down the rope.
The water at the bottom makes me feel more relaxed, more like myself now and I tip my head up to them, feeling myself grinning.
"Its a lot better in the open water." I call, "Come in if you dare!"
Then I dive into the open water, letting it rush around me.

This ship is really huge.
Evrything is bright and everthing ooks really good.
Ari walks beside me down one side of the deck and then up the other taking in the sights and snapping photo's.
She shows me what they are every so often and I grin up at her.
"They look amazing Ar... but can we go to the pool now? I wanna swim."
She nods, seeming kinda distracted, so I grab her hand and walk us in the direction I saw the massive pool earlier.

There isn't all that many people there.
A girl and a guy around my sister's age... or maybe a little older towards the close edge and a bunch of other people towards the other side.

Ari looks kinda confused when I turn up to face her.
"What's wrong?"
She shakes her head and smiles, "Sorry Si, just trying to figure this ship out."

I nod, "Yeah so am I. Can we go swimming now. Pllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease?"

She rolls her eyes looking around this part of the dock, then to the pool, then to her camera.

"You go on ahead. I'll come in later. I just want to take some photo's of this part of the deck, okay."

I nod and she continues.
"Can you just stay around this area and try not to go too far away."

I nod again and head for the pool.

I cannot help but blush. I smile and look down at the water. “I must confess, I do,” I begin.

“Will come help me up.” Alysha calls.

He looks at me and smiles. “I will be right back.” He says.

I nod and splash him as he gets out. I look over as he reaches for her hand. I look to the younger boy and smile at him. “Hi.” I say.

“Hi.” he says.

I hear a splash in the water and find Will missing. I rush out of the pool and look over, but suddenly I am in the water too. I scream as I fall. I smack the water really hard. I come back up for air fast. “Water is painful.” I say to Will.

"Water is painful," Lindsey commented to me.

"Yes, it is," I chuckled in agreement. "I've done that a few times. You learn pretty quickly to land with your feet first. ...Hi, there."

Another kid had appeared in the pool next to Lindsey. He looked pretty young--probably eight years younger than me, at least. "Hi," he said. Lindsey and I were treading water, but he was clinging to the side of the pool, pretty tense, as if he'd just gotten in.

"Haha," I lauged at them, "I fooled you both!"
The lauged a little but then Lindsay's eyes widened as she stared off at something behind me.
Then she started swimming back, really quickly towards the boat, screaming "SHARK!!!!" over and over.
Will realised what she was saying by the time she was half way up the rope, swinging dangerously, and followed suit.
Iwas confused on what was going, not knowing what exactly was happening but then it dawned on me.
I was too late by this time; a circle of fins were supponding me.
I'm gonna Die!!!

No, your not!

Quickly I went under water and grabbed a hold of one of the sharks fins.
But then another shark attacked sending blood both mine and the sharks flying in all directions.
Above water nobody coud tell if I was dead or alive.

"You go on ahead Sim, I'll come in later. I just want to take some photos of this part of the deck, okay." He nods, tilting his head up in what I really hope understands. At last he nods, seriously. "Can you just stay around this area and try not to go too far away."
He just grins again and runs for the pool.
That’s when I start to look around properly.
There are mini- bars and food stalls, comfortable seats and exotic lights laid out all around the deck.
People cloister around talking happily, their laughter blowing and catching in the breeze.
I smile, scooping a handful of red hair out of my face and pulling my camera out again.
This would be the perfect opportunity to get some photo’s.
The ocean looks so peaceful…
I smile snapping a few photo’s…
That’s when I hear the yelling from below.
"SHARK! SHARK!”I run towards the edge.
Three people float in the water.
The girl with long blonde hair who pulled the bungee jumping skit before- The Captain’s Daughter- a man probably in his 20’s looking a little freaked and another girl with long straight blonde hair, looking overly panicked as she swims for the ship and yells again, “SHARK!!!.”
Suddenly I’m not the only one at the railing; suddenly it seems as if everyone on the deck is stuck against the railing along with me.
Suddenly fins surround the Captains daughter.
Pleasebedolphins, pleasebedolphins, Ohmygod, pleasepleaseplease dontbesharks!
The girl disappears underwater and around where she disspaered blood floats to the surface.
I can’t watch this.
I can’t.

Ipod, I think Will and Lindsey ended up back in the pool. I'll have them climb down Alysha's bungee cord.

Will

"Fooled ya!" Alysha called. Finally realizing where she was, I hopped out of the pool, shrugged on my shirt to protect myself from the wind, and climbed down Alysha's bungee cord with Lindsey.

Halfway down the cord, Lindsey shouted, "Think fast!" and shoved me. I lost my grip on the bungee cord and fell into the water.

"Lindsey!" I shouted. "You got my shirt wet!" Lindsey just laughed and jumped into the ocean.

Suddenly, Lindsey screamed. "Shark!" she shrieked, swimming as fast as she could for the bungee cord. I froze for a split second, and then struck out after her. By the time I reached the cord, Lindsey was halfway up. I grabbed the cord and pulled myself out of the water, not even noticing the biting wind. I looked down to find Alysha--

But she wasn't there. The water below the bungee cord was laced with foam...and blood.

I took a deep breath, steeling myself for what I was about to do. I had an idea--it was a long shot, but it was the only thing I could think of.

"Lindsey!" I shouted. "Get off the bungee cord!" Lindsey looked down at me, and then climbed over the railing onto the top deck, where a crowd of passengers had gathered. I climbed up to the tenth deck, and pulled myself over the railing onto the balcony. Keeping an eye on the spot where Alysha had disappeared, I gathered the bungee cord and tied a quick slip knot in the end. I was counting on Alysha to grab it--if she couldn't, I wouldn't be able to help. I took aim, and threw the knot down at the bloodstained water. After waiting a few seconds--all I could afford--I yanked up on the cord, praying that Alysha had grabbed on. If she had, the knot would tighten around her hand, and I'd be able to pull her up.

The water around me is so thick with blood that I can't see anything except for it.
In the distance something darkens the red, destroying the crimson tint around me and I push myself to swim.
Clear wate appears up ahead and I push myself for it, only to be faced by another shark.
Quickly I grabbed for it's fin holding on for my life.
It just swam faster and faster, bucking around and trying to throw me off.
Thn it jumped into the air, like a dolphin would and I asped in anoter lungful of breath and yelled "WOOO!!!"
The shark dived back into the water, still trying to get my off, but I felt better now.
Run off by adreniline.
I wasn't about to budge anytime soon, not for a while anyway.
That's when it started heading for the boat.
Im doomed...
Slowly a plan, a very stupid, risky paln, comes to mind and very carefully I force myself to stand up on its back.
When it got closer to the ship I jump as dfar as I can landing on the bungee cord right above the shark.
It snaps after my legs, but I'm free now.
Slowly, as the adreniline fades, I pll myself up the rope.

“Lindsey, get off the bungee cord.” Will calls.

I look down at him for a moment, confused, and get off. I have to get her dad, now. My emotions are stirring with my head. “I am going to have to tell the captain his daughter is dead.” I say to myself. “No Lindsey, she is not dead. Will is going to help her.” I say to my self. I run the distance to get to the 'Crew Only' entrance Will took me through.

Upon getting there, I can barley breathe. “Ma'am you can not be up here.” Someone says.

“Look buddy,” I say trying to breathe. “Show me where the captain is, or I swear I will..”

“Lindsey.” The captain calls. “What is it, is there something wrong?” He asks coming closer to me.

“Yes, It is you daughter. She is over the side of the deck.” I say, a tear begins to roll down my face. “There are sharks and a lot of blood.” I start to freak out, but keep my mouth shut.

He and two other members run to the location I gave them. I cannot get myself to go after them, so I just sit there on the ground.

After a few long seconds, Alysha jumped out of the water and grabbed the bungee cord. My knot tightened around her hand as she began climbing up the cord. I planted my feet and pulled, figuring she could use a little help. There was a huge gash in her leg, still bleeding, but she seemed to be climbing well.

The door behind me opened, and the captain ran onto the deck, nearly knocking me over in his haste. He took the bungee cord from me and pulled his daughter the rest of the way up. I stepped back until I was leaning against the wall. It was never a good idea to get in his way in this sort of situation.

Once I was sure the captain had things under control, I ran back up to the top deck. I didn't want to bother him. Besides, blood made me queasy. Up top, I spent about fifteen minutes searching for Lindsey as I waited for news from the captain. I didn't find her, though. Where was she?

A man walks over to me and pulls me up. “You really do have to leave now.” he say.

I nod and get up. I walk out another door and see Will looking around. I run over to him. “Is she okay?” I ask.

Apparently I startled him. “She has a huge gash in her leg, but that will heal with time.” he says.

I place me hand on my head, still a little freaked out. “Some much has happened today. I thought the ship was going to sink, I got yanked into the ocean, then Alysha almost got eaten by a shark. All that happened between eight o'clock and twelve o'clock.” I say.

When Alysha opened her door, I held out the piece of pie to her. "Here," I said. "The chef asked me to give this to you. He says pie makes everything better. ...You still have that?" I pointed to the shirt I had given her after we all got soaked when Mockingbird I sank.

I cut her off before she could reply. To be honest, I was eager to get back up to the bow. "Your dad says to rest up, too," I said. "And he'll be bringing more pie tomorrow. ...I guess I'll see you then." I waved a little, and then turned and walked back out to the bow.

Lindsey was already there; she ran over when I appeared. "Is Alysha okay?" she asked me.

I jumped a little, but recovered quickly. "She has a huge gash in her leg," I answered. "But that will heal with time."

"So much has happened today," Lindsey said, half-chuckling. "I thought the ship was going to sink, I got yanked into the ocean, then Alysha almost got eaten by a shark. All that happened between eight o'clock and twelve o'clock."

I laughed. "That's for sure," I agreed. "I could sleep for a week. ...I think there's going to be a storm tonight, though. Ugh."

Lindsey stopped laughing. "Isn't that dangerous?" she asked.

"Nah, we'll be fine," I replied. "We'll just drop anchor, and as long as no one's outside, we'll all be fine."

I look up at the sky. “Looks clear to me.”

He points in the direction the ship is headed. “It is not over there.”

“How long will it take to get over here?” I ask

“An hour, maybe longer.” he says. “Why?”

I grab his arm and pull him over to the pool chairs. I push the two together and lay down in one. He gets in the other, looking a bit confused. “Look up.” I say. We both look up the stars. “I have not taken the time to star gaze in a while. They are so beautiful.” I say
