Will

I sat in the ship's hospital all night, waiting for Lindsey to wake up. The medics had restitched her cut, to make sure it would heal properly, and then taped a large piece of gauze over it. I was sitting in a comfy chair next to Lindsey's cot. I had tried to stay awake, in case she woke up, but by midnight, I was fast asleep.

I woke the next morning to a medic shaking me. "Hey," he said. "Your friend's awake."

I bolted upright, turning so violently that I almost fell out of the chair. "Lindsey?"

Lindsey

My eyes slowly open and I find myself in the hospital. “How are you feeling?” the doctor asks, pulling an IV out of my arm.

I cringe for a second but then relax. “I'm okay, are we still on the ship?” I ask.

The medic laughs a little and nods. “Yes, we are.” he says. He walks over to Will, who is asleep in the chair next to me.

I smile at the sight of Will. “What is he doing here?” I ask

He has been here since you first checked into the hospital.” He say to me. He shakes Will. “Your friend is awake.” he says.

Will bolts out of sleep and turns to me. He almost falls out of his chair in the process, making me laugh. “Lindsey?” he almost questions.

I laugh and nod. “Yes, that is me. You did not have to stay here all night.” I say.

Will

"You didn't have to stay here all night," Lindsey said.

"Yes I did," I insisted. "Don't be silly. You think I'd leave you in the hospital after all that?" Lindsey smiled. I was about to say something else, but one of the doctors cut me off.

"You should probably get looked at, too," he advised, as he put Lindsey's IV away. "You're lucky you didn't get hypothermia."

Lindsey

“You think I would leave you in the hospital after that?” he is about to say something else, but the doctor cuts him off.

“You should probably get checked out too. You are lucky you did not get hypothermia.” he says.

“That might be a good idea.” Will says.

The doctor goes out of the room to get something, I am guessing paper work or something. “So what were you about to say?” I ask.

I met my dad on the bridge , and told him to tell all the guest to go into the audotorium , I ran quickly down to my room and got changed , and made sure all my cuts werent bleeding to much then , I cover the cuts up on my face with makeup , in the background i could hear my father saying on the loudspeaker "Attetion all guest this is your captain speaking , All guest and staff to the audotourium , I ran up and got up on the stage and waited for everyone to get in when they were in I said "Hello everyone my names Alysha and my dad is the captain of the ship , and he agreed to let me do this preformance for you guys and gals , Ill be sinigng The one that got away by katy perry , And im going to dedicate this to someone who i lost , a while back and thank you all for coming here . *Starts to sing* "Summer after high school when we first met

This will go on for like as long as the song goes in real life which is like 5 mins i think , then ill get an act up on stage. or something and EVERYONE MUST BE IN THE AUDOTARIUM , including everyone in the ships hospital.

Will

I was about to answer Lindsey's question, but then I noticed something.

"Is that music?" I asked her.

Lindsey listened, a hand cupped around her ear. "I think it is," she replied. "Yeah, it's Katy Perry."

"Sounds like it's coming from the auditorium," I observed.

"Come on!" Lindsey said, popping up off her cot. "Let's get out of here, before that doctor comes back with the IV. I hate needles." She grabbed my hand, and pulled me out of my chair and down the hallway, to the auditorium.

Lindsey

I grab his hand and we run him out the door. We get there and there are so many people. I cannot even see the singer. I try to jump up to see, but I am too short. "Come with me." Will says, giving my hand a squeeze.

I nod and go with him. He takes me up a dark stairwell. "Where are you taking me?" I ask laughing.

He opens the door at the top. "To the perfect view." He says holding the door open for me.

"Whoa that's Alysha." I say.

"I did not know she could sing." Will says.

"She is really good. See this is the fun kind of singing. I wish I could do this as a living." I say

"Why can't you?"

"My parents. I cannot look them in the eyes and tell them that I do not like the big business. I do not want them to be upset." I say.

"They are your parents. They will be happy with what ever you do." He say.

Will

"See?" Lindsey said, pointing down at Alysha. "This is the fun kind of singing. I wish I could do this as a living."

I frowned. "Why can't you?" I asked.

"My parents," Lindsey said. "I cannot look them in the eyes and tell them that I do not like the big business. I do not want them to be upset."

"They're your parents!" I exclaimed. "They will be happy with whatever you do.

"And if they're not," I continued, "that's just too bad for them. You're not their puppet."

Lindsey

I smile and nod. "Thanks. Maybe you could talk to the captain about getting me a job for the next cruise. " I say poking his arm.

He laughs and pulls me close in a hug. "Of course I will." He says.

The song ends and I scream and clap. I jump up and down, cheering for her.

*Finishes song* " Thank you all for coming!! , I hope you enjoyed the performance, I will have a short break and then Ill be back with more songs to sing to you guys!!" , I said and walked of the stage , when I was walking down the stairs , I stopped because I heard some moaning , I felt ice cold water dripp onto my face , I thought for a moment , "what is above the audotourium " I say to myself , when I was just about to contiue down the stairs , the roof collapsed where I was , It fell down , and crushed me , then the floor , gave way underneath me , collapsing , I force myself out from underneath the ruble , i got up and yelled up "I THINK IM ALRIGHT!!".

Will

"Oh my God!" I ran down to the auditorium, with Lindsey close behind me. This ship was just falling apart!

Thankfully, Alysha climbed up out of the rubble. "I think I'm alright!" she shouted.

"Good," Lindsey commented, relieved. "Um...where can we stand that isn't going to collapse?"

"That is a good question," I muttered. "Ah...how about over there, by the wall?" Lindsey and I ran over to the side of the room and stood near the door, just in case something else decided to fall on everyone.

I climb back up to the audotourium , Picked up the mic , and said "everyone out of the audotorium please" , they all shuffeled out , and back to their fun on the ship , I slowly walked out, and walked down the hall , I went to bed and fell alseep.

After everyone left the audotorium, i went back to the bridge " All crew back to your work , Will please report to the bridge , without lindsey , that is all" I said ,
the ship started to cruise along again , everyone went back to their everyday lives on the ship , will finally got to the bridge , and we started chatting , After a while , alysha came up in the conversation
