The Triple World Experiment- Open and Accepting

Plot:

It is the year 3050, and technology has become so advanced that scientists saw Earth as something holding them back.
So, they created three planets out of materials from other planets already discovered. Kids are sent to Earth when they are born, and are raised there by 'host families' until they turn sixteen. When they do turn sixteen, they are sent to the 'testing centre' to take multiple tests to see what planet would suit them best- and where they shall live for the rest of their lives.

The three planets they could be sent to are:

Leveret (Planet 1) - The ice planet. Leveret is like a giant version of Antarctica- freezing all of the time. It has same physical features (mountains and grass) like Earth, but it is always below zero degrees, and snow is always falling. To be able to live in Leveret the teenagers are required to undertake surgery to be able to withstand the cold. Also, water covers a lot of this planet, and most of it is frozen.

Kardia (Planet 2) - Kardia is the hottest planet there is. It resembles a huge desert, but the characteristics are more intense. Overall it is a very beautiful planet, with vibrant colours of red, orange, and yellow. The oceans are of lava, and to be able to live there the teenagers must undertake surgery that lets the lava replace water- (so basically people living on Kardia drink and swim in lava- without being burnt.)

Erintor (Planet 3) - Erintor is the dark planet. No light ever shines there and so everything is always dark. (Imagine everything exactly the same as Earth, but night all the time.) The weather is normal, but the feel of this planet is kind of creepy. To live there teenagers must undertake eye surgery so that they can see in the dark.

Name: Kastia (Kas) McKerron

Gender: Female

Appearance: Kas is around average height for her age with an athletic build and long wavy black hair. Her skin is naturally pale no matter how long she stays in the sun for (which irritates her to no end) and unmarked. Her eyes are grey (but often come across as a silvery colour which most people find strange.) and she has a splattering of freckles across her nose. Kas has a very casual sense on dress, rarely wearing make-up or dresses unless she has to.

History: She lived a regular life on Earth with a host family she considers to be just as good as a real one- maybe even better. Up until now always wondering what other planets would be like and since her host sister was sent to Kardia has always wanted to travel there as well. Like most people in this time she never knew any of the members from her real family.

Personality: Kas is fiercely loyal to her friends and what she calls her family and reserved around most other people until she gets to know them.
She takes risks more than often and if she gets stuck in a difficult situation relies on her wit to get her out of trouble. She isn’t afraid to speak her mind but isn’t an overly loud person as some would think. She doesn’t trust people easily but once she does she will for her entire life and is quick at making up her mind. Kas is fiercely determined. Can hold a grudge easily and can be a little arrogant along the way but overall she’s a good person who doesn’t really like to see others get hurt.


Fears: confined spaces.

Name: Brigid Cerenkov
Gender: Female
Appearance: Brigid is almost six feet tall, and has an athletic build. She has bronze skin, and glossy black hair that she ties in a ponytail. Her eyes are dark brown, and she has an expressive face. She usually wears dark shirts and pants, tall boots, and some sort of jacket.
History: Brigid is the daughter of a renowned atmospheric scientist. Although she never met him, she heard a lot about him during her childhood on Earth. He lives on Leveret, and she hopes to meet him soon. Her host parents were also scientists, and they were very encouraging of her experiments.
Personality: Brigid is a bit of an actress. Her confidence and sureness of herself are real, but she plays it up, making her seem larger than life. She's athletic and competitive, and likes to be in a leading position. She's loyal to her friends, but she can be quite aggressive, and isn't afraid to start fights. Her competitive nature sometimes gets her into trouble, but her intelligence and creativity allow her to get out of it. Secretly, she's a little geeky, and likes to perform wild scientific experiments.
Fears: Fire. Brigid was in a lab fire at her school, and almost didn't escape. She has burn scars up her left arm, and she's been afraid of fire ever since.

Name Alfred Bettes

Gender Male


Appearance Alf is tall and sturdy, with large hands and broad shoulders. He has short, messy-looking black hair that's a little thicker on the top, and nearly black eyes. It makes him look a bit odd as he is rather pale. He has an oval face, with a handsome nose and a crooked smile that is more awkward than cute. His calloused hands are always messing with something, whether it be fiddling with his hair, his ear, or something that he's holding, and he tends to absentmindedly pick up things and mess with them. He usually wears a plaid button-up shirt, jeans, and hiking boots. Oftentimes he will wear thick leather suspenders - his idea of a fashion statement.


History Alf's father is a construction worker, and his mother is a large animal veterinary assistant. From the both he has inhereted a love for hard work and the outdoors. He spent his childhood climbing trees, making forts, tending to any animal he met, and digging elaborate canals by the stream. He was accompanied by two friends; a very short boy and a girl, with whom he spent a good many years falling in and out of love. When he was fourteen, both of his best friends were transferred to another part of earth. Alf became slightly odd after that and preferred to spend his time doing odd jobs for people. At one point he got a paying job to take care of his neighbor's horses: it was the highlight of his life so far and he is very proud of it. He made many acquaintences but never again had friends nearly as close as the short boy and the pretty girl.

Personality Alf loves work. He isn't satisfied unless he is touching something, fixing something, building something, caring for something, or tearing something apart. He is quiet and observant, having learned from animals to read body language easier than words. He hates arguing of any kind and will usually disappear into the background as soon as one starts up. He will often offer to help someone, especially if it involves any form of labor. Overall, though, he's rather shy and
sensitive.

Fears He hates needles, he hates medicine, and the mere thought of surgeries makes him tremble in his boots.


Up for love You bet'cha

Other He has a type of epilepsy (absence seizures) that causes him to completely zone out for about 15 seconds. This can happen up to ten times a day. During an attack, his muscles relax, his eyes glaze over, and he loses all awareness. He is not sure what planet he's headed to, but he isn't sure of the idea of a planet without children. Plus there's the whole surgery thing.... Alf is rather hoping he can stay on earth.

Name: Alyson Devereaux [Dev-er-oh] "Aly"

Gender: Female

Appearance: Alyson is around five foot nine with legs that go on for miles. When you looks at her, she's a bit awkward looking. Her eyes are ice blue mixed with crystal and are a bit to big, giving her a creepily adorable edge. Without trying, she gives off a feeling of innocence. Aly has blonde hair that falls straight below her shoulder blades. Her skin is very pale with a pink tint that mixes well with her hair and eyes.

History: Aly grew up with a host family that seemed like they were only raising her because they had to. She always thought that the reason her family decided to be a host family, was for the living benefits on Earth. them or held Having never been to the other planets, Alyson has been pretty sure for a while now, that Earth was the place to be. Instead of most families, only hosting one child at a time, she was raised with a brother, Keiran.

The only time The host family ever showed any interest in Alyson or Keiran was when they were in public together, otherwise, they were rude, commanding, and overall , a horrible host family. The family couln't take no for an answer and either beat their head down under water for horrible amounts of time. Keiran was her only sense of safty, taking beatings when they weren't his. Last year, Keiran turned 16, and was sent away. she does not know where he is, but she knows he's out there , and will stop at nothing to find him.

Personality: Alyson is quiet, and most people call her creepy. She's super sweet and bubbly when she does speak, but don't get me wrong, she's a force to be messed with.She might not talk a lot, but she makes up for it with thinking. Aly thinks differently than most people and is certainly odd. She always puts others before herself. Sometime's she's to nice, which often tends to get her in bad situations. She may look fragile, but she is strong. More mentally than physically, but she can hold her own.

All in all, she's a mastermind but doesn't show it. Aly gets confused easily, since she's not used to how others think. She may see like a push over, but if you talk to her the wrong way, she isn't afraid to speak up. She doesn't trust easily,but when she does, she'll stand by you no matter what. She is a very artistic person. she always either has a notebook or a sketch pad with a pencil. She likes to stay out of business that does not include her, she feels like it's not her business and will often keep her opinions to herself.

Fears: From her past, Aly is afraid of water, she only takes showers, never baths, in fear of drowning. She is also afraid of needles and closed spaces. She also has a minor fear of rejection.

Anything else you would like to Add? She has a hemp bracelet she never takes off, her brother has an exact one. It reminds her she can get through anything.

Name: Stephan Carters

Gender: Male

Appearance: Stephen is African-American, his father's side being all-black, his mother being bi-racial black/white. His hair's short, short, short and curly, just a bit of thick fuzz on the top of his head. His eyes are a deep brown, irises rimmed with a colour that's so dark it's almost black. He's an average weight, leaning more towards the skinny side, and although he does have muscle mass, there's definitely not a lot there. His height (a grand 6'2") and that award-winning smile of his make up for the lack of large arms or perfectly-chiseled abs.

History: Stephen's host family consisted of structure. Everything was routine, routine, routine. Alarm clocks were all set for the same time, and everyone was expected to wake up the second they went on. Meals had times marked down on the calender, family events were always scheduled in to the precise minute. Punctuality was important- maybe even more than it should have been, and the family had taken it upon themselves to instill lifestyles into the children. Unfortunately, Stephan couldn't cope with that. In his family, he was the "lazy" one, the one who was always late and didn't get up when he was supposed to. The one who didn't follow his schedule or show up for the family events. The one who was easily side-tracked, the one who seemed to value time with his friends more than this laid-out routine.

They wanted him to be an athlete, and he wanted to be a doctor. And then he wanted to be a chef. And then a musician. A dancer. Anything but a footballer or hockey player. The two that he pursued and held onto were musician and chef. He managed to weasel his way into classes behind his parents back; took private lessons with a music teacher who seemed to be rather fond of him. Hung out with a crowd that encouraged him and helped him out in any way they could. He was not an athlete, and he would not become one. Right now, he's really rather refined in both of these talents. His cooking's hard to beat, and his music nabs an audience and it holds them in place right up until the end of his song.

Personality: Stephan is, in a word, energetic. He's always got a mischievous glint in his eye, and seemingly never runs out of steam. And now that he's free of routine for good, with no fear of being grounded or lectured or disciplined for avoiding it, he's got some fuel to burn. He smiles a lot, and is most certainly a very corky fellow. He's outgoing, not afraid to strike up a conversation with just about anyone, and likes his witty remarks (that will get sarcastic, the closer he feels to you). He says strange things, makes odd noises, and likes to be moving. Standing still just isn't his thing, even during a conversation. He'll make dramatic gestures, become theatrical and animated in the most delightful, amusing of ways. Cheering people up has always been his strong suit, and he's just a typically warm, inviting and bubbly person in general.

He does, however, have his moments of seriousness. And when he gets serious, he gets serious. There are things that are close to his heart, and he's not always the clown. It's just hard to bring out that side, sometimes. And when you hit something that tugs on his heart strings, that high-energy is turned into passion. He's never been one to conform to anything, and he stands by what he believes in the firmest of manners.

Fears: Abandonment, being forced to conform to something, and, strange as it is, he's afraid of being in a room that he can't personalize. He can't stand the thought of being forgotten or left alone, and once he's got a friendship, that fear's what drives him to keep it kindled. He's got this almost-phobia of conforming, and God help him, he will not be like anyone else, because for the love of Bach, they all seem so dead. And then rooms. Being in a room that he can't add his own personal flare to- paint the ceiling, the walls, the floor- decorate accordingly and make his own- he can't live in it. Can. Not. It quite literally drives him crazy, to the point of breakdowns and panic attacks. Nobody really gets it, including himself, but if it's not his, he doesn't want to stay in it.

Up for Love: Yup. He can be a flirt (both intentionally and unintentionally), and will openly compliment anyone, male or female, which is often mistaken for his un/intentional flirting.

Anything else you would like to Add? He wears skinny jeans. Vibrantly-coloured, patterned, tie-dyed, paint-splattered, distressed, whatever. Skinny jeans. Almost every day. Oh, and I can't forget the bow-ties.

Name: Sharlett Demason (Shar)

Gender: Female

Appearance: Shar is around 5’ 5” tall with a petite build and light skin. She has cropped dark blonde hair that often sticks up oddly, wide green eyes (almost like grass) and delicate features. She’s more than often smiling. Her clothing style is kind of girly most of the time as she loves dressing up- which she does at every special occasion. She usually also tends to convince (or try to) get others to dress up as well.

History: Shar’s life has been mostly uneventful up until now. She- like most of the other teenagers- never knew her real family instead growing up with a ‘host’ family- if you could call it that. Shar’s ‘host’ family consisted of a mother (who was a retired English teacher), a little brother- also un-related (Eli- he’s four) and a dog that Shar found on the street one day when she was 10 (They called him ‘Mojo’ and up until now he has went basically everywhere with her.) She loved them both to death and is truthfully not looking forward to leaving much and once she does want’s to come back and visit one day.

Personality: Shar is a sweet yet slightly competitive girl who always seems to have a question to ask.
She is extremely loyal to her friends, family and teammates, loves trying new things though she can be a little uncertain at times, changing her mind about things often.
Shar is a quick learner and is particularly good at remembering things when other people can’t- like names and number combinations.
Also she tends to think the best of people, wanting to be friends with practically everyone, but once she begins to dislike someone her opinion won’t change easily (unless something drastic happens) and can hold a grudge for a long time.
She always likes to think positively and tries to make the best of every situation.

Fears: Shar is completely terrified with basically anything to do with heights especially the possibility of falling. If there is ever a situation where she comes in contact with either of these thing she will freeze up, not knowing what to do.
Up for Love: Yes although she can be kind of shy so he’ll have to approach her first.

Name: Aileen Zander
Gender: Female
Appearance: She’s very pretty with blonde hair. She is relevantly strong, and cute. She wears her hair in a ponytail or braid.

History: As a young girl, her parents lived in CA with her, but something changed. Her mom and dad claimed to have a calling to be a missionary in South America or Central America. They ended up moving to Mexico, where they began to minister to people. She grew up as an MK (Missionary Kid) and went to Veracruz (on the East coast of MX). She lived through very hot climates, and was fine with high altitudes and heat. She enjoys being in the sun. At the age of 7, her parents adopted a Mexican boy in need, who was 7 also. They got along well, and went everywhere together. He taught her Spanish, and she taught him English. They both were happy.
When she heard about this challenge, she signed up. She hoped to live in Kardia because of her ability to stay in extreme heat. Her brother also signed up, in hope of going with Aileen. Andres (her brother) wanted to go so badly.
(PS. If there’s an extra spot, I’d love to make Aileen’s brother. Please?)

Personality: She is very kind, and gentle. Because of giving up everything at the age of 3 to go to Mexico, she knows what it means to leave one life to go to a brand new one. She loves her brother, Andres, and they always stay together. She is good at making friends, and speaking Spanish. She learns languages easily, and learns everything quickly. She is happy as long as she’s with at least one friend. She loves drawing, and takes a notebook, pen and pencil everywhere. She loves nature, and loves heat. I mean, maybe she doesn’t LOVE heat, but she’s used to it.

Fears: She is afraid of her friends doing something--- well--- bad. She would do anything for her brother, and if anything happened to him, she would probably suicide.
