I sighed as I grew slightly annoyed at the moment but our course was set, I gathered everyone up and told them we were going with Roes idea. And she seemed excited for the most part, the idea of going home must have been a relief to her. And to me going home would be a seriously good idea myself. But we let Roe lead the way to her home in hopes that we would have a chance to rest after all this. I walked by Kei and Ronan as I fixed my sword into a bread roll so we weren't picked up by the cops. The group was silent for the most part as we walked though the country side, no car's had been seen and no government offical's either so we were in the clear for the most part.
An angel, a knight, a man who will bring light to where there is only darkness, I am the Morning Star, the Bringer of Light, hail to me as I am King Lucifer!
Gemini walked by us, putting her sword in a bread roll. Ronan had slipped back into his mind, walking mechanically. I wanted to tell him to be careful, but kept it a secret. I climbed down off Ronan's back, needing to stretch my legs. I stumbled forward and stopped walking.
A gentle breeze blew through the air. The sound of screaming filled the air. No one responded, and I knew I was seeing a full fledged vision. The shadowy figures running around were shocked. I saw myself swinging my katana. Gemini struggled back and I plunged the blade into her leg. She screamed and sliced into my chest instinctively, and I stumbled back.
"Kei! Stop this right now!" Ronan shouted. I turned and looked at Ronan and smiled. I stepped forward, blood crawling up his leg.
"Ronan, I'm sorry," I say and I stab him in the stomach. He falls back and I laugh. Vines wrap around me like chains and I smile.
I blinked and was back in the present. Ronan was kneeling in front of me and the others looked at me worried. I was sweating heavily, and I was shaking.
"Kei, are you okay?" he asks me. I shake my head.
"I'm tired," I say weakly. I crawl back on Ronan's back and my thoughts begin to run wild. Why would I attack them? Did Sooth finally get a hold of me? I can't hurt anyone. I thought.
I shook, trying to keep the tears from escaping. I didn't want to hurt anyone. Especially Ronan.

The first Set of Italics is his vision.

We start walking, following Roe, and I mentally slip away. No new visions come, just old ones that decided to replay for my own sake. One in particular disturbs me. Blood covered grass, a hand off to the side, limp and pale, as the arm it's attached to stretches out of sight.
I blink out of it to find Kei frozen, sweating heavily. Kneeling at his side, I set my hand on the side of his neck.
"Kei, are you okay?" I ask, worried.
The glint in his eyes...
He shakes his head, "I'm tired."
He crawls onto my back again and shakes. I reach up to set my hand on the side of his face in assurance, wondering why he's so scared, and take a deep breath. Noticing that everything is under control, the others begin moving again, leaving me to follow. I try to stay aware of everything around me, worried about Kei, and somehow block incoming visions.
What do you know that I don't, little brother? What aren't you telling me?

We decided to go to Roe's place and I nodded in approval. It would be nice to meet her family. I follow her but also keep a close eye on the animal tracks along the way, the patterns could meant danger. The on-and-off running style. Once I know it's an all-clear, I step next to Atarin and Lizzy, following Roe at all times.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
Power: He can summon anything he want with his blood. Like Kei who controls blood, he summons using his blood. He will cut his palm and make a fist, and imagine the person(s), and he lets out a drop. It hits the ground and they appear there.
Personality: Kris is quiet, but when you get to know him, he is really amazing. He only talks when he feels like it, so you don't force him to.
History: Kris was an only child. He took the syrem to get stronger. He was on the run when he was found by Sooth. He is secretly Sooth's Spy, but is starting to doubt.
I sighed. Sooth had said they would be here. I wanted to kill him, lying to me. Maybe he wanted to get rid of me.
"Are we there yet?" I heard someone shout.
"Almost, just wait a little longer," someone responded. They were here. I smiled. Lifting my phone to my ear, I sent a simple message.
"They are here," I said before putting it up.

For once in my life, I lead the way. I took us to the road, but didn't walk on it for fear of discovery. We stayed in the woods, just within sight of the familiar path. Ingrid lingered farther back in the group. "Are we there yet?" she shouted.
"Almost, just wait a little longer," I responded. The sun was almost set when we emerged from the woods in my father-in-law's wheat field, which my husband now tended. The cozy white farmhouse sat facing the road, with a fairly small corn patch to the left of it and a barn to the right. There was also a couple fenced-in fields for the horses and cows. The lights were on in the house, casting a welcoming glow on the grassy area on which it sat. Kei got up on Ronan's shoulders as we waded throught the waist-high grain. Everyone became filled with hope as we saw my home, but some were still cautious. It seemed too good to be true: I was going home! I ran through the wheat field ahead of the others, too anxious to see my baby.

We broke into a trot as we reached the wheat fields. Roe ran ahead of us. "Roe, slow down!" Gemini called. "It could be dangerous!" "It looks fine," Lacie said. "I don't think Sooth knows about this place. Else he would have destroyed it." "All right," Gem grumbled. "Atarin?" Lizzy tugged at my sleeve. "Can I go touch the horses?" "Sure," I smiled. But I looked away before she could see my expression. Of all the people in the group, she was the most vulnerable. She had no freak to protect her. No powers. But the serum was a double-bladed sword. It cut in two directions. Once the serum was in your system, there was no going back. You were hunted down and killed. But Lizzy was different in that she was associating with mutants. She would be killed whether she was one herself or not. I reached my decision.
"Lizzy," I called her back. "There is something I have to talk to you about. I want to ask you something and you have to think about it very carefully before answering."

Roe's home was breathtaking. Wheat fields stretched out in all directions as far as the eye could see, laden with the ripe grain. The house glowed with a welcoming light as the sunset reflected off the glass and white paint. Roe brushed past me, eager to get ahead, ignoring the warning Gem called out. It was understandable of course, this was her home. Her family was here.
I could feel Atarin and Lizzy behind me, talking quietly. I wondered for a moment what it was about then turned my attention to the house. Something wasn't quite right...
I realized then that though it was evening, the lights were off. I realized it too late - Roe had already reached the house. I stopped the others, however and turned to Lacie and Gem. "Something's wrong. I'm sure Sooth's spies have been here - we need to get Roe back." Gem looked at me and nodded once. "I'll see what I can do."
"Married to music - 'nuff said." "Freedom is everything to me."

Roe's house was like a miracle - for a moment I swore I was hallucinating. I saw Roe run towards her house, Ingrid running after. Both are such sweet girls.
Running my hand across the wheat we walked through, I smiled, feeling the sun beat down on my face. Looking up at the house, images of rubble filled my mind. My smile immediately dropped and I became all too aware of my scarred back.
Overhearing Solstice, I chimed in, "Do you think Sooth's men really came here?"
My thoughts flashed to Roe and the family I knew she had. I ran to catch up with her.
I walk towards Roe. "It's nice meeting you. They've been hoping to see you again," I tell her, talking about her family. I see a group behind her and I grimace on the inside. Their power was strong, and I could feel it.
Kei
We come to a farm and a guy talks to Roe. I giggle and hop of Ronan's back. I run and find a horse and pet it. "Horsie!" I say giggling.

I don't like this place. The peace... It's not real. The fabric of reality allows me to see into what will happen, finding warring shadows and distant screams. Shaking my head, I come out of it and watch Kei jump off my back and run towards a horse, petting it. My heart almost breaks at the sight. What if this is his last chance to -
No. Stop thinking like that. What happened to being strong and confident? He can't have you thinking this way.
I swallow and break from the group to follow him, feeling as if I'd forgotten about him a little in the past few weeks. Crouching at his side, I smile at him.
"I-I'm sorry," I whisper, "I've been...distant, haven't I? I don't mean it."

Roe's memories of this place came flooding, and I couldn't help but smile. Looking at her smiling face, I felt as if I was prying into something not meant for me, so I stopped to tie my shoe.
I lingered behind the group a bit, and yelled, "Are we there yet?"
Roe answered with, "Almost, just a little while longer."
When the house came close, Roe ran towards it.
Biting on my bottom lip, I wondered...would Roe still have room for me when she had her real family back?
This guy Roe was facing, something felt off about him. I felt the urge to draw my blade and the silence of the house was only urging me into doing so. It was to quiet even for a farm, the hourses were uncomfortable, I heard no chicken or roosters or any other animal or even human life other than our own. Something was wrong and it was all because of this one single guy, he may talk to her like he was a friend but something tells me that was not the case.
"Roe, you know this guy?" I ask.
She slowly shakes her head and then there was the silence again, it was bugging me. So it was time for a check inside the house.
"Atarin, Ross, go inside and check if Roe's parent's are still inside." I ordered.

I smiled, noticing Kei and Lizzy pet the horses. As I neared the house, a teenage boy I had never seen before approached me. For a moment, I thought nothing of it. My husband Benjamin and I both had younger siblings, I assumed this was a friend of one of theirs. "It's nice meeting you. They've been hoping to see you again," he said. but there was a weird undertone in it that I didn't quite pick out.
"It's nice to meet you, too," I said. "Are Ben and Jake inside?" I looked around, the group now catching up to me. "Ingird? Ingrid!" I called, putting my arm around her shoulder and herding her toward the house. I sensed she was slightly apprehensive. "Come inside. My family will love you," I whispered, thinking of my husband and baby Jacob, my in-laws, my parents, and all the brothers and sisters that loved to visit on weekends.
Gem asked if I knew the guy, and I shook my head no, not allowing that to dampen my spirits. I followed Atarin and Ross inside inside, ushering Ingrid in with me. The place was warm, bright, and welcoming. My broad smile quickly faded as I realised, where is everybody?
