"Alright then." I tell him.

We go though the castle exploring it and showing the tapestries and telling the history of the castle and how long it's been around, I hesatently show him the secret passages around the castle that I use to make my way though the castle quickly. We finally come to my room, where I sleep during the day, we go on in and let him take a look around. I go over the window.

"So that's pretty much it, this is my room as you, know." Fidelis was standing behind me as I finish my sentence.

I stood behind her as she looked out the window. A long-dormant male part of me wanted to mate with her, but the emotionally broken part of me pushed the lust back. Have I forgotten that I wanted Allan to hold me? I had no time for mating, not when I was still emotionally broken. I could mate with her when I'm healed. Instead of risking the temptation, I stood beside her and looked through the window with her. "Lovely view from up here, isn't it?" I closed my eyes and took in the scent of the ocean. Opening my eyes again, I looked at her. "I'm starting to get a little thirsty. Care to lead me to my room and grab me a criminal to feed off of?"

My heart pounded in my chest thinking that he was going to take me, take me and fulfill my wildest dream. He stood beside me as I blushed incrediply, my thought's raced if he truely wished to do what I wanted, if he was checking me out from the back. Part of me was feeling overjoyed, another hopefull and another feeling sensation's in my lower part's. I barely caught what he had said.

"Umm sure." I said.

We walked out and Fidelis was gentemen enough to open it for me, we walked though the halls until we came to the opposite end of the castle. His room was at a window over looking the sea, my servant's had been smart as the room was fully made into a vencian style room. It was amzaing to how well the room was made, the pottery stand was there with clay and everything. And for a final touch the male servant I had requested be put into the room, he sat on the bed and I knew him immediately on his hateful stare.

"Oh it's you." He snared at me.

"Shut up you, you're not serving me tonight."I said

I jumped onto the servant and pried his mind. Murder with a side of robbery and rape. I had no time to make him insane, so I latched into his neck and almost drained him dry. After I unlatched, I broke his neck for a good measure. I licked my lips of the blood and laid down on my bed. "I guess he knew what was coming. His heart rate was speeding up when I got on top of him. It was like he was scared to death of me more than he was of you." I sat up. "Why was he of service to you anyway?"

"Oh, I worked out a bit of a systemwith the servant's, all the criminal's sent here I make a deal with them. They work for me, no, ifs, ands, or buts for a certain measure of year's. The year's variey greatly depending on you're crime, sometimes it could be a mere ten year's to a full life time worth of work. This man had accepted the offer even tho he didn't think though the fact he was already 25 year's of age, no way he could survive the next 75 year's without me having to turn them. Other servant's tho, like Kenia. Who have willingly come to serve me get the to last the year's, she not a complete innocent, she has a few cases of adultery but it was willingly accepted kind, I allow my servant's to talk and chat and have there giggly fun as long as it's accepted fun." I said.

I make hand geastures as I talked some very suggestive some not so much but Fidelis seemed to get the idea of what I mean.

I raised my brow. "So in a technical sense, you employ criminals as an act for redemption?" I wasn't sure why she would do that, but then again, mortals were able to change their ways the chance they got. I've seen many criminals change their ways from a life of crime and into a life of hard-earned profit and the chance at having a family, which made me curious about mortals themselves. It brought me to the conversation I had with Allan's mother and stepfather. Allan was a wild mortal until I came into his life. When I came along, he changed his ways from a wild mortal to a tamed one. In my own way, I tamed a truly wild mortal.

"Yes that is the basic idea behind this agreement I make with them, they refuse to make the deal and well, they don't live very long. This one here, I been meaning to deal with but haven't had the chance until now. He has broken our agreement by sexually harassing a fellow female servant, and he has been thieving from my kiteion pantery for the last few weeks, so what you did, I don't mind at all. Oh and if you so choose, before you kill you're victom or want a female servant to you're bed to, "please you're urges" then allow one of my lieutenit's to know and they shall bring you one right away." I said.

I turn and go to Fidelis' room window taking in the fresh air as the sky begin's to grow brighter, hinting that dawn soon approaches. I sigh hoping I could talk to Fidelis longer.

I crawled under the sheets and let the violet canopy hide me. Dawn was approaching. I could feel it. "I'll keep that in mind when the sun goes down again. For now, it's bedtime for the both of us. I'll see you in the evening." I fell asleep the second the sun rose in the east. My rest was easy, but dreams weren't.
I was back in the apartment, sitting in the living room with my hands together in prayer. I heard a knock on the door and answered it, only to find the jackel god Anubis at the door. Respectfully, I let him in and asked why he ascended from the Underworld at this day and age. He gave me a shirt. I recognized it as Allan's shirt. I shook my head and said that Allan couldn't be dead, not when I asked him to come home and hold me. Anubis bowed his head and told me plainly that Allan was dead and never coming home to hold me. I shed blood at this. Someone killed him, my beautiful sacred treasure from the gods. I didn't want that to happen, not after all I managed to teach him.
I woke up still in Delariva's castle, the blood from my eyes pouring down my face. I never had a nightmare so heartbreaking and horrifying like that in my eternal lifetime. I only hoped it wasn't true.

I soon make my way back to my room as Fidelis falls asleep under the cover's once I finally make my way there, I slowly open my door to an empty bed. I sigh wishing Fidelis would come to my bed today and sleep with me, but my luck was never that good. I made a quick mental note to call Kenia in for a session tomorrow for I needed to let off some steam, to much pent up energy in me to keep it there long. I get under the cover's and soon fall asleep.

My sleep became rather fitful as I kept on dreaming of Anubis' brief visit with me. When the night finally came, I sat before my desk and tried to think about the dream. It was hard to make it out, even for one as old as I was. In hopes of ending my torment, I went to my pottery room and began working with red clay. Unlike the light grey clay I used to work with, red clay felt a little like mud. I chuckled at this private joke. Clay of any kind, no matter what color, always felt like mud. I fiddled with the red clay in complete silence, think of what to create with it.

I walk out the door of my room with Kenia right behind me, we go our seprate ways to our duties, but first I head over to see Fidelis to see how his sleep had gone. I soon come to his door and knock on it softly, And then enter seing Fidelis at his pottery post trying to figure out what to do with the clay.

"How was your rest last night?" I ask him.

I didn't want to lie to her and didn't have to either. "Fitful. Had bad dreams." I toyed with the clay and formed it into a vase. It wasn't as good as I used to, which meant Allan's absence has affected my talent as well as the rest of my being.

He makes a vase out of the clay, but it isn't as good as the ones he made before. The loss of Alan had taken it's toll on him and was affecting him in everyway, but he goes on to tell me about his dreams and how Anbuis the god of the underworld has visted him and told him of Alan's death. I chringe and know it was because I feed for to long and had gone into a frenzy and drank him dry, I soon regain my composure and went bck to how I normally acted.

"Shame, good lad to. What do you plan on doing now that he is dead?" I ask him.

I crushed the clay vase in my hands- the clay itself was still wet- and toyed with it again. "I never said he was dead. When Anubis visited me, it was in my dreams. My dreams tend to be prophetic at some degree. I have no doubt that it was just a dream. Allan has to come for me. I still want him to hold me. He could've gotten my note to him already. I need him so I could heal better." I started to shed blood. "If he loved me like his note said so, why didn't he hold me when I needed him most? Does he hate me so much to ignore what was a desperate sitaution?"

As requested... I'm not sure how good the timing is though...

Spoiler
Name: Arlan Creyton

Gender: Male

Age: Looks 18, is really 1087

Race: Vampire Master

Appearance: Arlan has dark hair that's never below his ears and has deep chocolate eyes. He's average height and weight for someone of his time and is pretty well built. He's not pale, but isn't exactly tan either. He is usually seen wearing dark clothing.

Personality: He's timid and quiet anti-social. He has a speaking impediment and can only put together simple phrases out loud, though his mind travels at a faster rate than humans. He has little memory, having suffered some sort of strange lapse into a blank state of mind, but what he does remember is foggy and seems to be from another lifetime.

Other: Up for love. He's gay and knows it. He also carries a switchblade in his jacket pocket, holding onto what little he remembers of his life in the '20s.

Allan

The dull ache in my mind reminds me that there is so much I do not know about myself, about my past. Glimpses, of what I assume was my life before now or a life before this one, pass through my mind like waves, coming and going with no particular pattern or frequency. Sometimes it's feelings, other it's people and things. Places...

Somehow, I appear at the door to the apartment I only saw in dreams of memories, a note the wind brought to me neatly folded in my pocket. Without knocking, I stroll through the apartment with caution, jumping at shadows yet knowing this once love=filled place has gone empty.

I stop before a desk, a note similar to the first openly atop it. taking out the former, I sit at the desk and wait for some kind of reaction. None. Perhaps I've never sat here before...

I ope n the note and begin to read, heart pumping ferociously in my chest.

Allan,
I wish you were here to hold me. Tonight marks the night I turn 5020 years old. It's been 5002 years tonight since I became a vampire, but also the night I watched my sister die by the hands of the vampire who turned me. If only you'd stay to hold me as I mourn the loss of my beloved sisters. Every year on this very night, I shed blood because I felt at fault for not protecting my sisters like a true brother should. It pains me to know you had to leave and it'll take centuries for my heart to heal. You may be my second new generation, but you were the first in eternity to leave me. I wish you didn't leave. Without you, this apartment just isn't home anymore.
Fidelis

Blood streaks down my face, the words stirring up ten million different emotions at once. Guilt tops the list, followed closely by heartbreak. Calming myself, I read through the second letter.

Allan,
Why didn't you come when I needed you the most? When you didn't come, it felt like you hated me in spite of the letter you left behind. Your letter said you loved me, but your absence during the moment I needed you most said you hated me. I still long for your embrace. I miss it dearly.
By the time you find and started reading this, our bed would be empty. The apartment itself would lack both me and the vampiress Delariva. She insisted I move to her castle, myself being the vampire King and all, to respect my status as royalty. As I'm writing this, a part of me is begging me not to go and just wait for you to come back and hold me. That part of me was the part of my heart that you hurt when you left. Even now, I wish I'd hunt you down and ask you to come back. I needed you to hold me and comfort me on the night of my rebirth as a vampire. If only you'd come back when I needed you most. No matter where I go, I'm never home without you.
Fidelis

When I'm done, I hug myself, forcing my emotions back inside. I left the one I love?

Unsure as to what else to do, I tuck the letters in my jacket and bolt out of that place, racing the sunrise as I allow my subconscious desires and knowledge to take me to my love, my memories, myself. If he is with someone else, could I leave after rediscovering myself? But did he not state in the letters how much he missed me, how much he needed me?

I stop, the dawn almost upon me, and glance at the letters again. They are addressed to someone named Allan, not me. Or is that me?

Confused and desperate for both answers and to feel what my heart longs for, I ignore my hunger and thirst and slip inside the castle before me, hiding in the shadows to await dusk.

The taste of a kiss lingers on my lips.
