Emma saw the strange boy walk into the party, late. His gaze sweeped the room, stopping momentarily on both her and Aurora. Emma looked away embarrassedly when he looked towards her. Emma had wanted to ask him something about yesterday, but now that he was here, she couldn't remember what it was. She sighed, annoyed. She wished she had something to distract herself from her power. Emma was tired of this horrid, awful power. She wished she coud have been able to numb pain like her mother, or at least be normal like her father.

Michael- Suddenly Lex disappeared, leaving a floating glass in the air as the only visual sign she was there. “Well that’s an interesting trick!” Michael said in slight amusement. Lex’s stammering voice replied, “My punch is spiked, isn’t it.” Michael frowned, taking a small coin out of his pocket and floated it about his hand. He stared at it for a second, confusion creeping into his face. “That’s weird,” he said in a quiet tone, “but if it’s true.” He tensed, scanning the room with his eyes. “What’s weird?” Lex said. Michael’s eyes suddenly locked onto Heather, who in return waved at him cheerily and lifted up a half full glass of punch. “The punch was spiked,” he said, “and it looks like hell is due to arrive any moment now.”
*In reply to Sylverdawn, Michael could be part of a rescue team as he is fairly confident in his ability's . *Also, this will most likely be my last post until Sunday afternoon.
Admiration: Our polite recognition of another's resemblance to ourselves.
Dopeler Effect: The tendency of stupid ideas to seem smarter when they come at you rapidly.
Confidence: the feeling a person has before he fully understands the situation.
When Zaine returned with our drinks Heather sniffed hers skeptically. "It's already been spiked." She told us, I sniffed my own drink and nodded in agreement. Zaine shrugged and downed his in a single gulp. "Is that going to stop you?" He asked us. Baring her teeth Heather retorted. "No. If someone wants to play with fire they can suffer the consequences." I looked down at my drink and took a hesitant sip. "I don't know guys this taste like rum and I don't do so well with liquor." Heather and Zaine looked at me. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed a strange guy staring at me then at someone across the room then began to walk in that direction. Heather flung her drink back and downed it in one gulp. "It's okay Aurora, you don't have to drink it, I'm sure there is water somewhere." she said. I scowled I hated feeling like a prude, so in spite of myself I took a deep breath and downed the liquor. Having not had that much alcohol in my life I started to feel tipsy and sway. The room got blurry and my tounge felt heavy. I giggled. "Crap Heather look she is drunk already." Zaine said amazed. "Well she did say she didn't do so well with alchol," Heather said putting her empty cup down on a nearby table. "Umm, Aurora, waht kind of drunk are you?" She asked tentavily. I giggled again and shrugged. I had never been drunk before. "Well," Heather said to Zaine. "I guess we'll be finding out."

Nicholas approached the Aurora girl. She was drunk. This was not good. He could not extract the proper information if she was tipsy. He stood near her, listening to their conversation, hoping to hear the stuff that he needed to hear. "You will know her after one conversation with her," His employers had said. He dearly hoped so. One wrong turn could cost him his life... or worse.
He stumbled slightly, the limp in his leg still there. He dared not to look at the place he used to call home. He could feel the heat from the fire, the fire that he himself had ignited. He blinked back tears, as he limped away.
(So Miss Peterson isn't going to be at the party but she be there for Development class since she's the teacher. Miss Peterson had a rough night last night.)
Every time you smile, I smile And every time you shine, Ill shine for you
After a few minutes my body started to feel normal again. I should have known my powers wouldn't allow me to stay drumk. This is gonna be a crappy thing when I actuall do want to get drunk. I crossed my arms but I was also relived that I didn't get drunk enought to hurt anybody. "Well, I guess the world will never know what kind of drunk Aurora Night is." I said to Heather and Zaine who were amazed. Out of the corner of my eye I saw that strange guy come closer. He stood five feet away from me and looked like he was trying to listen to our conversation. I waved it off as paranoia and turned my attention back to Heather and Zaine. "You know I have had enough of this party. I think I am going to go lay down for a while. It was nice meeting you guys, see you later." They waved goodbye and I walked out into the alway uaware of the person following me.

Nicholas stalked her silently. He was a master at stealth, and he had been known to have been stared straight at, but not been seen. He followed her all the way through the streets, and into the dorm. He wondered if he would ever notice him...

Emma saw the strange boy follow Aurora out of the party, and decided to follow, worried for Aurora. Unfortunately, along the way she lost sight of the boy, and Aurora headed into her room. Emma sighed. She didn't want to head back to the party, worn out from keeping her power in check. She decided to head back to her room and get a head start on the math homework. She didn't have far to walk, since her room was right next to Aurora's.
*This way Emma will be able to hear if a fight breaks out.*

*Hey if Nicholas is older than he looks could he have known Zaine's grandmother? I think it would make for an interesting connection. Also Jaden has ditched his disguise.*
Zaine Draxon:
Zaine gazed after Aurora as she walked out of the lounge. He noticed another boy trailing after her. The new boy moved with the stealthy gate of a predator. Most of the students didn't notice, oblivious to everything but the "accidents" starting to happen as more and more people got drunk.
Turning to ask Heather who the other boy was Zaine froze as he saw a man walk past the open glass doors. His distinctive white blonde hair was unforgettable. Zaine's stomach tightened with dread. "Sorry Heather. There's something I forgot to do. I'll catch you later okay?"
Not waiting for a reply Zaine moved past his friend and made a beeline for the outdoor. The patio and pool were almost as crowded as the lounge. For a second Zaine looked around, wondering if he had imagined it. Then he caught another glimpse as the man moved further away, into the woods.
He took off running, chasing after a shadow from his past. As soon as the trees closed around them Zaine spun, searching for another sighting. He didn't notice the man slipping up behind him until the knife was at his throat.
"Long time no see 14896." Zaine would know that familiar texan drawl anywhere. It was a man's voice now, not a boys. Part of Zaine was relieved. He had been waiting for this for years and it had finally happened. The nightmare had returned.
*Ideally I would like Zaine and anyone captured with him to end up on a plane to Colorado. That's where the testing facility is. Feel free to have tailed Zaine in his idiotic chase.*

I finally made it to my dorm and just about passed out when I reached my room. I noticed the bed on the other side of the room was still unoccupied. I guess I woudn't be having a roomate. This made me happy, one less person to put in harm's way. I went to my still packed suitcase and pulled out a tanktop, some sleeping shorts and a robe. I pulled my hair out of its ponytail and shook it out. I stretched out of my bed and started to meditate. My senses got stronger and I picked out the sound of breathing not my own. Someone was in my room. "Who are you?" I asked and the strange boy stepped in sight.

"Sorry Heather. There's something I forgot to do. I'll catch you later okay?" Zaine mumbled.
Before Heather could reply, he was gone, briskly moving out the double decor doors and onto the Patio. Heather tried to call after him but her voice came out slurred and thick. Oh yes, the spiked drinks, she thought. It hit her quickly, too quickly for alcohol, and she half staggered over to the doors to see where Zaine had disappeared to.
It definitely wasn't just alcohol, she could feel it bubbling up in her system, too violent for your cheap rum or vodka. With a quick movement she bent down and vomited on the patio. The people around stepped away considerably and she gritted her teeth as another wave of nausea hit her.
Her vision started blurring, she needed to find Zaine, she needed help. She stumbled away from the patio, smelling the air. It was horrid, all of her senses where in hyper drive; she could smell the sweat and stench of vomit, and more than anything, adrenaline tinging the air. But hidden was Zaine's musty boyish scent. She started following it, clutching her stomach.
Heather started to think she must of been poisoned, nothing could make you feel this bad, this fast. But Aurora had been fine, she'd seen her system soak up that drink as fast as anything. A stabbing pain shot through her abdomen, but she kept moving, his scent was as thick as anything now, he must be close by.
"Zaine" she called out weakly, "Are you there?"
*I don't think Heather has anything better to do but follow Zaine...

*Jaden tricked Caleb into putting a sedative or something in the punch when he spiked it.*
Zaine Draxon:
Zaine and Jaden had fought silently. Neither one wanting to draw attention to the fight, if for different reasons. His movements were slower then normal and his powers shut down by Jaden. Then Zaine heard Heather call out and realized that she had followed him. His head snapped around, instinctively searching the trees for her and spotted her leaning against a tree trunk for support.
Taking advantage of Zaine's distraction, Jaden tackled him to the ground. He bucked wildly, trying to get the older man off him. "Damnit Heather get out of here!" Zaine shouted, desperately trying to warn her.
He stiffened as he felt the familiar prick of a pressure syringe at the base of his skull. His eyelids grew heavy as Zaine fought to stay conscious. The last thing he saw was his eyes locked on Heather's face as black garbed soldiers stepped out of the trees. Then everything went dark.

Emma looked up from her textbook. Something was off. She felt normal. How odd. She heard a strange sound in the hallway. She came out to see several men dressed in black dragging the gir who'd turned into a cheetah and a boy, he thought his name was Zaine or something. She opened her mouth to scream and call for help, but before she could, one of them grabbed her and, quicker than lightning, put duct tape around her mouth. "Where is he?" the man whispered in her ear, holding his 's' longer than necessary, "where's the boy who killed Sahred?" His voice sent chills down her spine. She tried to wriggle out of his grasp but couldn't. "I don't know who you're talking about," she said through his fingers, the words coming out muted. "Suite yourself," the man said, then started pulling her along.

“The punch was spiked,” he said, “and it looks like hell is due to arrive any moment now," I frowned, although I knew he couldn't see it. "Um, what now?" Slowly I forced myself to reappear, "Is that normal?" "Not usually, but then this is Tarragon College after all... I'll see you 'round Lex," Michael shuffled off and melded into the crowd, no idea what I should do I just stood there like a lemon. The tone of his voice had changed, he'd become more distant as if he were focusing on something else entirely... Ah well, no matter. I'd actually talked to someone tonight, that was my goal fulfilled. I took another sip of the spiked punch, it wasn't like I could be anymore unpredictable with my powers.
Eventhough the patio and pool area was just as crowded as inside, the air was still that much cooler. All around me I noticed and recognised students from last year, some even waved and smiled at me. It was then that I stood in a rather nasty pile of vommit. A group of boys, renounded as bullies, started to point and laugh however stoped immediatly when they couldn't see me anymore. "Don't laugh at an enemy you can't see," they cautioned each other. Something about this told me that they had past experiance with Shadow Walkers. I left them behind and wondered towards the forest to see a pair of students being carried off by men in black, the students I knew as Heather and Zaine. I paniced and jumped right back into the party. "Does anybody know a Michael?!" I shouted, making some jump, "Seriously! Anyone know where he is?" I was fading back and forth like a lightbulb being turned on and off repeatedly.
*Lex will be part of a rescue team, and sorry if this post reads as a bit rushed

"Damn it Heather, get out of here!" Zaine's voice shot, panicked, from somewhere in front of her. She mumbled after him, but her speech had failed her. He sounded scared.
Everything blurred. Footsteps beat the forest floor and she could just see the marching of thick black boots in the mud. Someone grabbed her hair violently, pulling her up and she squeaked in pain "Got another one here," A man barked sternly, "No, there's no need to sedate her, she's already out"
She struggled weakly, but slowly, everything was going dark. Heather slipped into a fearful sleep.
