Jackson Davis. The name rang through my mind and struck a nerve. Of course I knew Jackson Davis, he was Jessie's father. The low life prick who once beat Jessie so hard he had broken three ribs. Who had beated Jessie to the point of unconsiousness. Who had forced him to emancipate himself just to get away. I hated Jackson Davis but what else could he have done that this guy wanted him.
"Yes I know Jackson Davis. What do you want with him?" I asked.

I will try to post today. Sorry for the absence.

EDIT: Okay, not today. I hate busy schedules! But I will post tomorrow, even if it's only a few sentences.

Nicholas grinned, but he was still unable to move. She might be his target after all. A scene from a week ago flashed through his mind.

He was standing in a dark room, no windows. A man sat in a chair, but in the darkness, Nicholas was unable to tell who he was by his face. The man chuckled. "Nicholas Stone." He said, relishing the name. "One of the most feared assassin's in the entire world. I need you to kill a girl. She killed my son. I want her dead." Nicholas pondered this. Probably some insane girl.
"Of course," he said softly. "And what is the girl's name?"
The man chuckled. "That is for you to find out. She is attending Tarragon College. She will know this name. 'Jackson Davis'."
This was highly irregular, but yet, he had carried out with the instructions.

Nicholas stared at the girl. He grinned stupidly. She was his target, but he could do nothing. He flashed her a smile. "I... Am going... To kill you..."
He stumbled slightly, the limp in his leg still there. He dared not to look at the place he used to call home. He could feel the heat from the fire, the fire that he himself had ignited. He blinked back tears, as he limped away.

"I... Am going... To kill you..." He said flashing me a smile. I let that sink in for a minute. Then I busted out laughing. Tears were rolling down my face when I finally composed myself.
"Are you kiddig me? You are in absolutely no position to be threatning me right now. If anything I could kill you this very moment." I said. To prove it I mentally squeezed his nervous system and watched him scream in agony. I laughed menacingly. It felt good to cause him pain.
"Now are you going to kill me?" I asked sweetly taking his face in my palm. He growled. I leaned closer to him to whisper in his ear. "That's not a real answer." I squeezed his nervous system again and a sickenly sweet smile stretched across my face. "Answer the question, are you...going to kill me?"

*I'm going to try to get the rescue party moving. You can argue or try to kill eachother on the way to Colorado. If no one likes this I'll delete it.*

Anastasia Draxon: NPC

Ana knew something was very wrong when Zaine's transmitter had shutdown. Her grandson might complain about them being overprotective but he was just as conscious of his own security.

The school was silent as she strode through the gate, caught in the massive time-freeze. She wore jeans and a simple red t-shirt. Her night dark hair spilling in waves down to her hips, golden eyes that now glittered angrily were concealed by a pair of sun glasses.

As Ana walked through the frozen halls she noted several groups of students and teachers huddled together with nervous looks on their faces. Tarragon was catching on to what had happened, too late as far as she was concerned.

Ignoring them Ana followed that familiar thrum of power. It was stronger now, much more so then when he had been a child. If she hadn't been so worried about Zaine, Ana would have smiled.

She entered the room and closed the door behind her with a quiet snick, dropping the time freeze as she did. To the rooms occupants it would seem as though she had appeared out of thin air. The girl jumped, startled by her sudden appearance. But the only reaction Nicholas showed was a slight widening of the eyes.

*Ana's planning on hiring Nicholas to rescue the captives and/or kill the head of the research base. That is if he's interested, it could help bring the two plots together. Also keep in mind that Ana looks like she's in her late twenties but she's actually three hundred and something. Which is how she knew Nicholas when he was little.*

*Ok, I'm confused, but I'm going to try to go with it. I'll edit if i've made a mistake.*

Nicholas stared. Anastasia! He had not seen her in a long time! What in the world was she doing here. The last time he had seen her face was when he left to join the Assassin's Brotherhood. She looked no older than when he had left her. He smirked.

"Anastasia... It's been a long time. It's too bad I can't stay and chat." At least his finger muscles worked. But the girl lost her concentration, so now he could move his arms. He shoved his hand into his pocket, and withdrew a seed. He swallowed it. A vine burst out of his mouth, and smothered him, until he looked like a big bulb. Then it sank into the ground. He would return to kill the girl... but later. He needed to deal with Anastasia first.
He stumbled slightly, the limp in his leg still there. He dared not to look at the place he used to call home. He could feel the heat from the fire, the fire that he himself had ignited. He blinked back tears, as he limped away.

*Zaine's grandmother, Anastasia, has an adventurous personality. She's met a lot of interesting characters over the years among them Nicholas. The two of them were either friends or enemys depending on the situation.

In this case Ana wants to hire Nicholas to help with Zaine's rescue. Since she knows full well just how accomplished he is. Ana herself is just there to jumpstart the rescue mission, she can't come along. Much as she'd like too.*

*For the sake of making it interesting, are you okay with Ana being Nicholas's old gf or something? Like the broke up after he joined the Assassin's Brotherhood?*

*Sure, but won't that make it awkward with Zaine? She's just gonna pop in on occasion.*

*I thought it would be interesting. But it was just an idea. We don't have to do it.*

Lylax Moonset

Lylax looks out the window as his dad drives him to Tarragon College. It had already been rather long since school had already resumed from the summer holidays but it was only Lylax’s first day. Nervous but trying to keep calm, he sits quietly behind the driver’s seat just like his mom who, on the other hand, is sitting beside his dad. The latter can’t stop having an anxious frown on his face, but he is trying to be confident.

Finally, they arrive at the school.

“Mom,” Lylax spoke, keeping his voice calm, as the car stops in front of the huge school gate. “It’s going to be okay.”

His mom smiled at him but concern was evident on her face.

“Take care, son,” says his dad, tilting to his side to look at him.

“I will,” Lylax replied.

He opens the car door and steps out, saying his goodbyes to his parents like he normally did when he was still going to a normal school. He puts his shoulder bag on and finally shuts the car door. He sighs heavily and then walks forward through the gate. Strangers' eyes stared rather heavily at the new face…

Whew. xD It was much longer earlier, almost one-page, and I had to trim it down. Please tell me if Lylax is welcome to the school. lol

I was vexed. I would have gotten to kill the guy if it hadn't been for that lady interrupting. What did he know about Jessie and Jackson? Could it be that Jackson had hired this guy to come and kill me? Was he an assassin? I wasn't so sure but I did know that I would have to watch my back from now on. I pulled on some black leather tights a red blouse and tucked a knife in my knee-high boots just to be safe. I ran out of my room and into the hallway.
Students were gathered around in groups with terrified looks on the their faces. I had missed something big. I stepped over to one girl.
"Hey do you know what happened?" I asked gently.
She looked up at me and I could see the fear in their eyes. "During the party... Zaine, Heather and Emma were kidnapped by some scientist people."
I gasped. My new friends kidnapped. I had to find them. I walked into the room and saw people gathered around discussing rescue plans. I made my way over to the couch and sat down. I would deal with the assassin later, right now my friends were more important.

*Check out my new SB Sanctuary.*

*Sorry if It's long.*

Anastasia Draxon: NPC

Ana rolled her eyes in exasperation at Nicholas' antics. Then again, he was the best there was, and justifiably paranoid because of it. "Honestly Nicholas is that really necessary?" She chided him. "If I wanted to kill you I would take your head when time was frozen and you would never feel a thing."

The floor shook slightly and the green pod surfaced from the hole it had made. It quivered and then split from the inside, allowing Nicholas to step out into the room before withering behind him. "Then why are you interfering with my job?" He demanded.

"Because I have a job of my own for you. One I think you will relish." She removed her shades to reveal angry golden eyes.

Nicholas cocked his head. "You have my attention. What could a lowly assassin do for the matriarch of the Draxon clan. One of the foremost powers in the world?"

Ana clenched her hands, absently noting the faint snap as her sunglasses broke in two. "While you were busy interogating that girl Cypher infiltrated the school. They made off with several of the students and are no doubt taking them to the closest base. My grandson was among those taken."

That got his attention, anticipation flashed across his face but Nicholas quickly masked his response, pretending indifference. "I fail to see where I come in. I kill people. I don't rescue them."

She shrugged elegantly. "In this case you'll be doing both. I have no doubt the rescue will be quite dangerous. And the world will be better off without such monsters as the ones Cypher breeds."

"You do realize if I take this job I'm going to make you pay through the nose." Nicholas drawled.

Ana gave him a predatory smile. "Don't worry about it. Zaine can give you the payment once he's safe. As my succesor he is authorized to access all of the Draxon accounts." Before Nicholas could retort she teleported away, knowing the lure of a difficult job would send him after the abductees.

Michael-

Things had become very serious. It was understandable that the schools diviner didn't see a random werewolf attack, but a kidnapping inside the school grounds should have been seen ahead of time. The current glitch in the diviners power was also delaying the rescue team, as they could only leave once they knew where the kidnappers had gone.
Michael sighed and walked over to another student, it wouldn't hurt for him to get another persons view on the situation.

The meeting in the lounge was useless. They had a bunch of effective strategies but no leads. Looks like I'm on my own. I got up from my spot on the couch and left the room. In the hallway I Concentrated on enchancing my smell. I could smell everything now and the scent of those scientistt guys were pretty clear. I followed the scent to its stringest point by the exit. I found a small peice of cloth, probably torn off one of the kidnappers in the struggle.
The scent continued outside. Having a strong sense of what I was looking for I ran at full speed until the trail ended. At the airport.
