Her memory was quickly slipping. He knew that as he looked on, her puzzled face contorted as she forgot the last five minutes. After the potion completed it's work, she was left, looking lost. Her last memory would have been of being in the grounds, watching the werewolf.
"Where am I?" She cried, looking around.
"You knocked yourself on the head," Nicholas replied. "Go back to your dorm."
He stumbled slightly, the limp in his leg still there. He dared not to look at the place he used to call home. He could feel the heat from the fire, the fire that he himself had ignited. He blinked back tears, as he limped away.

Miss Peterson looked stunned. "I didn't know what to do," she replied to Heather. "I'm new at this teacher stuff. And it all came so suddenly I didn't know what to do. So I froze." Heather was still looking upset and stalked off towards the school. She thought to follow her but she also knew it was her responsibility to look after the children and two were in the forest. She didn't want to but she stepped into the forest, following the tracks on the ground that she presume to be the tracks of the werewolf.

Nicholas knew he couldn't stay long, or the girl would become suspicious, so he headed back the way he came. He walked along the path of trampled greenery, blood splattered everywhere. He realized his fingernails were soaked with it. He ran more quickly, trying to find a big leaf to wipe it off on, when he wasn't looking, and ran right into Miss Peterson.

Michael-

When I arrived outside I was surprised by the apparent shock on everyone.

"Come on everyone, this isn't daycare!" I yelled.

I saw Miss Peterson heading out to the woods and cursed, "If this is some kind of test," I said under my breath, thinking about the apparent lack of authority, "heads are definitively going to roll!"

"Heather," I said to the girl coming toward me, "please get the nurse as fast as you can."

Nicholas ran into Miss Peterson. "Oh my god!" she cried looking him over. "You're filthy and is that blood? Where's the werewolf?"
Nicholas blew past her, ignoring her and running back towards the school. "Nicholas!" she yelled, but he just kept ignoring her.
The other kid that had gone into the forest stumbled out. It was a girl and she looked dazed. Miss Peterson grabbed her and guided her out. "Are you okay?" she asked.

*One thing I forgot to mention in his profile. Zaine has a tattoo on the back of his neck that's shaped like a bar-code, from his days as a test subject. I would also like to offer him up as Nicholas' target.*

Zaine Draxon:

As usual Zaine was one of the last students to arrive at the school. Mostly because his family insisted he have six body guards with him any time he wasn't home or on the school grounds. Truly he didn't blame them for the paranoia but as soon as he was eighteen the suits were gone.

He breathed a sigh of relief as he walked through the gates and his protectors turned and marched back to their cars. Now he had almost three entire months of relative freedom until winter holidays.

Zaine's eyes widened as he caught sight of the campus. Several students and what looked like a new teacher were milling around. There was blood splashed across the grass and the stone of the courtyard.

"I'm back for two minutes and already there's a shitstorm." Zaine thought, a grin spreading across his face. He recognized one of the girls and ran over to join her, studiously ingoring her ripped up clothes and the bloody scratches she now sported. "Hey Heather, what's up?"

Nicholas ran like he had never run before. He sprinted away from Miss Peterson, knowing he had basically destroyed his mission. This was stealth, not bloody murder. He raced to the dorm, and ran all the way up into his room, shut and locked the door. Then he sat down. He needed time to think...

Hi, oh goodness I am so sorry that I'm late. My characters profile is on page one where I originally posted.

Lex

Oh god, I was late! First day back and I was late, wonderful! I had to stop myself from panicking too much, I didn't want to end up miles away again... Finishing running the brush through my hair I stepped away from any lose objects and into the empty space in the middle of my room and jumped. It was almost easy now so long as it was over short distances. Fade into the background them burst out where your mind pictures. I appeared in the courtyard at the front of the school. Everyone else was coming back from summer brake but I had no other home of which to speak so I simply lived in school. As I blinked and looked around I saw that there was a group of students and teachers alike gathered around blood. I froze and desperately tried not to disappear.

Aurora

After putting my bags in my dorm I went out on campus and found a nice quiet spot to try and relax. I concentrated on hearing and heard a lot of different sounds; especially growling. Wow,I thought to myself, maybe there are other shapeshifters here. I got up from my spot and joined a crowd of students and teachers. To quickly I got bored and noticed a girl who looked like a nervous wreck. I went over her to see if she needed any help.
There was blood on the grass and I figured there must have been some sort of fight. That would have explained all the angry growling. Well at least this school wouldn't be boring. I looked at the wall of a school and noticed a poster for a welcome back party.

"What's up?" Heather almost shouted back at him, typical Zaine.
"I've barley been back for five minutes and already there's stupid monsters ripping into me for no god damn reason!" she screeched. He raised his eyebrows, looking her up and down at the scratches, the blood, her ripped pair of favourite tan shorts. "And all I want is some stupid answers, and all anyone is telling me is to go to the stupid Nurse, even though my stupid cuts are healing anyway!"
She was breathless from shouting, and her knees starting shaking underneath her from the shock.
Zaine looked worried. He probably thought she was crazy, Heather mused, either that or seriously deluded. "Heather, I think you should go to the.."
She cut him off before he could finish "No I'm not going to the Nurse, what is the Nurse going to do? Just tell me what happened!"

Zaine Draxon:

"I will not laugh. I will not laugh. I will not laugh." Zaine chanted mentally. Still he couldn't stop his lips from twitching in amusement, and their went Heather's eyebrows furrowing as she gave him the infamous Death Stare.

He coughed to clear his throat. "How am I supposed to tell you what's happening if it was all over by the time I got here?" Zaine asked redundantly. Heather's shoulders drooped as she realized that she had overreacted.

Cautiously, Zaine reached out and clasped her arms guiding her over to one of the benchs. "If you're not going to the nurse at least sit down. If nothing else it will make everyone else, meaning me, feel better." He drawled in a half joking voice. Grinning as Heather cracked a smile at his antics.

Michael-

Michael almost shouted in frustration when Heather ignored him. She could definitively heal faster then normal, but that didn't necessarily mean she was immune to poisons or infections. And even if she didn't need a healer, it was likely that someone in the woods would. His frustration spiked again when he wasn't able to contact anybody on his cell phone. Letting out another curse under his breath he sprinted towards the woods. Right now he needed to help Miss Peterson deal with the bloodthirsty shapeshifters before anyone else was hurt.

(Sorry I ignored you Michael, I didn't see the post. Heather's ignoring everyone's advice anyway...)

Heather

She half frowned, half smiled at him. She had missed Zaine, he always had the ability to make her laugh, even when she wanted to cry. Heather leant down into the soft pine wood of the bench, sighing deeply.
"Did you see that thing?" she asked him "It just came at me, like some wild dog with rabies"
"I didn't, I was otherwise preoccupied with my crew of thugs" Zaine quipped, sighing almost as heavily.
"They've still got those body guards following you around?" she laughed "That must of been a fun summer, how did it go?"

Zaine Draxon:

"Terrible. Do you have any idea how hard it is to sneak into a bar with six thugs attached to you? Zaine answered her, pulling a mournful face as he joined her on the bench.

Grinning openly Heather reached up and patted him on the head like a puppy. "I feel for you Oh Spoiled One. I really do."

Zaine swatted her hand away irritably and then handed her a hankerchief his mother insisted he carry. He nodded towards her cuts in silent answer to her confused look. The Sheep, as the two of them jokingly refferred to the majority of students, would calm down some more if her wounds weren't quite so obvious. When she glared at him, as though suspecting Zaine was taking care of her, he shrugged. "Kitty cat, it's either that or sooner or later someone's going to call an ambulance for you." He teased her.

*So are Zaine and Heather going to be a couple or just good friends? Personally I think they'd hit it off.*
