Welcome to the Review Trading Center This is the place to arrange review trades, be they for the short- or long-term. However, be warned: There is no guarantee that you will arrange a successful trade. As with all threads in WRFF, there are a few requirements to follow: For Trade Posters: Only one open trade at a time. A trade is considered open if it is the last trade request post in the thread. Trades are considered closed if they are no longer the trade request in the thread, or if they've been edited to state that they've been filled or closed. In other words, do not double-post . If you would like to trade reviews on a different work, or if you need to add more information to your post, if your post is the last one in the thread, edit your post to update it . Unlike all other threads in WRFF, links to your work are not required . This means that you can set up trades for works not posted in the Literary Works area. Just be sure to note that your work is not publicly posted . Be sure to also provide information about the work you would like to trade reviews on . Once upon a time, this thread was known as Review the Person Above You, and in the tradition of the forum games of old, it provided forty-odd people with reviews. But then it died the slow death of inactivity and was thus repurposed for review trades.

For posterity, here lies the original first post:

Review the Person Above You

What the title says! Basically, you review the last person who posted in this thread and then post a reply linking a work you want reviewed. The next person reviews you and posts a link to their work, and on it happily goes.

To prevent unfortunate cases where you review someone, but someone else posts their request faster than you, you can reserve a spot with a post. However, you can't request a review until after you've reviewed the person above you.

Rules

- Review the person above you. Or else. If you don't, your post will be deleted.

- Play nice. That means no spam/one-liner reviews.

- If you reserve a post, don't take longer than a day to do the actual review.

What happens if someone doesn't follow the rules?

If you catch someone not following the rules, shoot one of us green folks a PM. We'll deal with that dratted rule-breaker and see that a review is sent the proper way. :)
