> Spirit Jones-Hermes<

" Ouch," I said, giggling under my breathe," I never tire of watching you Satyrs run into trees."

" Haha," he said picking leaves out of his hair.

" Another one got away?," I asked.
He nodded.
" So how's Desert?" he asked.

We'd both been brought in by Tristin around the same time. He knew how close we were.
" I don't know," I said trying to act casual.
In the fact that I hadn't spoken to him in days. Beside our agreement he'd also been acting distant. He'd been having dreams. I could read him like a book.

"No you know. Spirit, somethings wrong."

" He's just been different. We both have."
He looked at me, knowing I didn't want continue.
" What books under your shirt?"
" Hermes stuff,"I said grinning." Speaking of which, gotta go!"
I sprinted off leaving Tristin standing behind me, shaking his head. I slowed to a walk. Glancing across the camp i tried to spot Nick. There right- I collided with a hard thump across someone. My hair flew across my face and the person I collided with. The book dropped out of my shirt.

"Sorry!," I gaped, brushing the hair out of my face, trying to see who I collided with.
" 'S ok," a male voice said.
Finally, all the hair cleared out of my face. Before me stood a dark haired boy. He was one of theboys from the Dioynus cabin. He handed me my book looking at it- and me scrunchulating.
" Here. I'm Jess," he said. It looked like he was going to say more until another male voice called his name.
" See you around. Spirit."
He bounded away. I would search him out later to apologize. Now to find Nick...

> Kasey- Demeter<

I walked around, paced really, waiting for Ophelia to be done with Cassandra. Gods that girl was pushy. I mean Cassandra not Ophelia. I glanced across the camp looking at the silver cabin. The Artemis cabin. It looked really pretty sitting there, glimmering in the sunset. Artemis may be my favorite godess. No offense, Mom.I thought. She was alot like me. No boys - as crushes I mean, bow and arrow lover, tom-girl. I truly admired her. I wanted to see that cabin. I took one
step toward the cabin. No- I couldn't. Could I? My will was stronger than that. Yet I felt a crazy strong connection with Artemis. I don't know why. It's so hard to explain. I took another step toward the cabin. Not gonna do - it. I sprinted across the field. Godesses, what was I doing?
" Kasey????," I heard Ophelia call to me.
I took a step inside the building.
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.

REGAN-athena

I walked into the camp store with five dracimas in pocket. I scanned the isles until I found what I was looking for. As I walked out, I had a grin on my face. Spirit Jones was going to regret the day she called me a common newbie who always wanted to fight. I didn't dislike her, I just wanted to teach her not to mess with me.
I opened the door to the Hermes cabin quietly. Inside was a mess of beds and clothes. I tiptoed to Spirt's bed and placed my trap. Just as I was leaving I heard a small " ump".
" Luna! You scared me. What are you doing in here?" I asked the small poseidon girl. She looked at her feet.
" I was waiting for Spirit." She mumbled. She went on to explain how Spirit ignored her earlier and kept a secret from her. I saw the tears in her eyes as she said this. I knew Luna was a friendly person who would never tell a secret, so she was very upset.
" Tell you what, If you don't tell Spirit about the trap, I'll talk to her about secrets. deal?" She smiled up at me, she had stopped crying.
" Deal"
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Alex~Apollo

I centered up and shot the basket ball swoosh, it didn't even hit the rim. But that wasn't unusual, being an Apollo kid, accurate aiming came easy to me. My iPod dangled from my ears as I grabbed another basket ball and centered up again. Like the last time, nothin' but net. This time the ball bounced into the hands of one of a Dionysus boy, Jess. The kid with the mager mood swings. I flashed a friendly smile in hello. He bounced the ball to my left and I stepped into, squared up, and shot. He caught it and passed it back. We practiced like that for awhile. Soon, he grabbed the ball and shot a couple himself. Once, I bumped his elbow and stole the ball.

Of course that led to a small scrimmage. I may be have a good shot, but he was bigger and quicker. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Luna walk by and I called her over, "Luna, come help me." She did and we both tried our best to keep the ball away.

In the end we were all pretty sweaty, but smiling in good-sportsmanship. We stopped by the camp's store and grabbed some bottles of water, and of course I couldn't refuse Reeses. Then we headed to the beach and hung out for awhile, with our feet hanging over the edge of a small cliff that hang over the water. I stayed away from the water and the edgeof the ledge, but Jessie pulled off his shirt and dived off to enjoyed it's coolness. Luna pulled of her clothes to reveal her swimsuit, that I'm assuming that she always wore. She splashed and bent the water and they laughed and had a good time.

"Come on." Jessie shouted to me. I violently shook my head, I hate the water with the passion that makes the Athena kids hate spiders. Why? Well, for a lot of reasons. I almost drowned at least three times. I went on a quest to the sea of monsters and let me tell you it wasn't a good experience. I lost one of my mortal friends to a hurricane. It's dark, it's wet, it's strong, it's wet and cold. Not to mention what goes into the water. No, I do not like water.

But I got bored just sitting there, watching them; besides, I needed to work on my metal working homework. "I'm gonna go." I called over my shoulder. I stood up to leave but when I turned on my heel, I slipped on the wet rock. Instantly I slammed down, hit my chin and toppled off the ledge.

I said they (as in them as one) have a ring, and you can tell who's in control by how they wear it. One around the neck, and the other on his finger. As in when one is in control, it's around their finger, and the other around their neck. Sorry for confusion.

How did I know that Jesse and Justice were the same person and not everyone else? I got it when I read Sakin's character's profile.. One person, two personalities. Like split personalities. Like Jean Grey and Phoenix from X-men.

Yes, we can. By the way, what day is it? Still Monday?

Cassandra [Hades]:

I took a deep breath and put the necklace one, ignoring Ophelia as she left. I knew my hands were shaking, but it didn't matter. As I ran my fingers along the pendant, something went click and I was suddenly holding a sword with a narrow blade. I blinked at it. "What the..."

And then I heard the click again and my necklace was hanging around my neck. Okay....that's odd. My necklace turns into a sword? Interesting... I could only wonder if Nick had done that...or if it was someone else...

Frowning, and still confused, I left the cabin only to see Kasey, a Demeter girl, disappear into the Artemis cabin. Ophelia was staring after her. "Hey," I said to my half-sister. "What's that about?" I gestured to the Artemis cabin.

Ophelia glanced towards me. "I don't know."

Shrugging, I headed off in search of Nick. I had a few questions to ask him--for one, why did my pendant suddenly turn into a sword? Yeah, I was as confused as I could be. Then again, maybe my Father finally did something helpful? Ha, that would amusing. Doing something Fatherly for once? Yeah, like Hades would do that.

Nick~Hermes

I was in the middle of slicing up a straw dumby, when I heard my name and I turned around.

"Nick! Guess what I found?" It was Spirit. She cautiously look around and then pulled out a book.

I leaned in close and read the lable, "Hermes Cabin's best pranks. No way! Where did you find this?"

She shrugged, "Under my bed."

"Must be a gift from dad." I licked my lips hungerly, "Lets look at it," then I looked around, "But not here." She nodded.

Just as we were about to our cabin, I saw Cassandra and she saw me, and she wasn't happy. "Nick, I need to talk to you."

"Crap." I muttered to Spirit, and then to Cassandra, "What's up?" She glared at Spirit. I think Spirit got the idea, because she suddenly said, "Oh! Right! Um, I have to go. Nick, I'm going to start reading it. Come in when you can." And with that she scrambled into the cabin.

Cassandra looked at me and narrowed her eyes, "Start reading what?"

"Nothing." I said quickly. "So what did you want to tell me?"

Andreas-Ares
>Wednesday<

So it's been two whole days since Lexie and Jack had their little argument. I figured one of them would give in by now and decide to apologize, or whatever they do, but that hasn't happened yet. I guess that means it's up to me to get to the bottom of it.

I headed out of the cabin in search of Lexie. I found her swimming in the lake. Sitting on the beach, I watched her until she realized I was there. She swam over and climbed up on the beach.

"Hey squirt," she said, "what's up?"

"Well, I wanna talk to you about something."

She looked at me kinda funny, then her smile faded.

"I don't wanna talk about Jack."

"But you have to!" I retorted, grabbing her arm before she could jump back in the lake. "Listen, you and Jack are the best fighters here, no doubt about it. If you guys can't work together, than how do you expect the rest of us to repond? We look up to you guys. We need you there to help us."

Lexie sighed. "Look kid, you're new here, and you've found out almost exactly how it works around here. I give you props. The only thing you have yet to understand, is how people treat each other around here. Me and Jack are the best of friends, but sometimes best friends fight. Do ya get it?"

She didn't even let me respond. She jumped back in the lake and started swimming again. I stood up and shouted, "Does this mean that you'll apologize!?"

She didn't respond. She didn't even look at me. I figured that meant our conversation was over. I sighed and walked back to the cabin. Maybe I could find Jack. He might talk to me.

Jack -- Wednesday

I hadn't been able to find Regan for a couple of days, so I had to resort to training on my own against a punching bag or some dummies. That was exactly what I was doing when Andreas walked in. I pretended not to notice him and turned up the intensity of my punches on the punching bag. It felt good to hit something. Andreas just waited patiently as I finished up and grabbed a towel.

"Hey," I said while toweling off.

"Hey Jack," Andreas said cheerfully, "you got a minute?"

"Sure, what's up?"

"It's about Lexie."

"Are you still worried about that?"

"Well, of course!" I turned my attention back to the punching bag as Andreas talked, "You are both amazing fighters with skills that compliment each other. We, as a team need to be together and not fighting. If you two are fighting, then we will sure as hell all fall apart. Are you listening?"

"Uh huh." I said. I punched the bag one last time and turned back to Andreas, "Lexie and I are friends, but sometimes we disagree."

"That's exactly what Lexie said!" Andreas said. I chuckled a bit at that. I knew she would have said that.

"Then what do you want from us?"

"For you to make up. I don't want this tension anymore. The thought that you two might break out into an even bigger fight that will never be resolved is too much for me!"

"So you want me to apologize?" I asked. Andreas nodded, "Good luck with that. There is nothing to apologize for and even if there was, there is no way I would ever degrade to that level."

"So, you just want to continue fighting?"

"No, of course not. I just need to prove something to myself. That's all."

"Prove what?"

I gave a deep sigh before responding, "Nothing." With that, I left Andreas in the cabin. Maybe I could find Regan and we could train a bit. I couldn't say it, but I the proof I needed was the fact that I didn't need Lexie in order to survive. I felt that I have become too attached to the fact that she would always be there to save my butt in case something happened. I needed to prove to myself that it wasn't the case and that I could live on my own. Really, I'm not even sure if that's worth it anymore. I couldn't keep this up with her. I decided instead to find Lexie and do the impossible...

Cassandra [Hades]:

I narrowed my gaze at him. "What did you do to my necklace?" I asked, lowering my voice. "It turned into a weapon a few minutes ago. Did you do that?"

Nick frowned at me. "Um, no."

There was a moment of silence before he grabbed my arm and asked in a low voice, "Will you show me?"

I frowned at him. Why did he want me to do that? Sighing, I nodded and jerked my arm back. What was wrong with me? Was I crazy? Probably. After a few minutes of Nick staring at me intently, I sighed again and let him drag me off towards the trees.
