Hey, make room for my character!

Name: Regan Perkins
Age: 17
Parents: Sean Perkins, Athena

Appearance: Regan is Irish. She is kind of tall, 5'10, with long brown hair, brown eyes. High cheekbones, always seems slightly superior and angry. She is athletic and thin. She doen't have any scars from monsters even though she's been in many fights.

Personalities: She is very defiant and tough. She doesn't make friends well. She has fast reaction time, even faster then most demigods, and only fights with a rapier(sword). If her pride is hurt in any way she will pick a fight with them. She won't team up unless forced to. She uses login and reasoning a lot when she's fighting. The only person in the world she really loves is her father.
Other Personalities: She is very smart, as most Athena kids are. She hates oranges and loves the color blue. She is good at math especially.
Brief history: Has been on her own for six years now. On her way to camp she met some monsters and defeated them, making her want to stay on her own and not go to camp. When she visited her father this year, he convinced her to go one summer at the camp to see if they could teach her anything.
Up for love: yes, will be brutal though, might dump ya
Other: She wants to go to MIT.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

REGAN- athena

I arrived at the camp around lunchtime. I watched the younger kids through food at each other and the older kids arm wrestle and make out. I highly doubted this camp could teach me anything. Walking toward the largest building, presuming that the cabin with the words " BIG HOUSE" painted on it was the big house, I saw a centaur. My father had told me that he was the head guy or something at this camp. After discussing why I was here with him, he showed me to my cabin. I opened the door to a perfectly clean room, devoid of human life. Perfect. As I settled my stuff down on a bunk I heard kids talking outside. I opened the door to face them. One of them spoke.
" Hi, I'm Nick, I'm from the Hermes cabin. We heard there was a new camper so we came by to say hi." The other kids around him smiled. He then waited, expecting my name. I supposed that I should give it to him.
" Regan." He then went on to invite me to play capture the flag that night. He explained that Ares and Zeus were the teams, so I could choose either. It's an obvious choice. If poseidon and hermes were on zeus, that team wouldn't be very organized, due to the fact that Zeus disliked Poseidon and Hermes was disorganized. Ares was tough, and Hephaestus would probably join them, so I decided Ares. I just knew I would win.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Love never given is love lost. I remember my mom saying this. She never was ashamed of falling for my dad. Yet Desert wanted a ever lasting relantionship. If I couldn't give it to him it would ruin us forever. I remeber being wrapped in his arms. I felt safe and loved and me again. Then... when he kissed me on the head I knew what I wanted to do. I-i met his lips. It was over fast and we continued just to sit in silence. Did he hate me? Did he want this? I was glad I told him. Whatever happened I was honored to be his friend.
"Spirit?," Nick called, waking me out of my day-dream.
I blushed, even though everone knew I was absent minded.
'"Time to go?," I asked, brushing myself off.
He nodds and I see a vacant look in his eyes. Huh. How very unlike him. I think we both have relantionship drama. Nick leads our cabin to the capture the flag spot in the forest. I greet Charlie ray with a wave. I've hardly talked to her yet. I notice a small pretty girl standing next to her.Luna. I'd heard rumors of Charlie ray's new roomie. Nick gathers us up.
" Hermes cabin you know what to do," he told us.
We exchanged grins. Trickery.
" Uh... Kassie and I will go hide the flag."
Kassie blushes. looks like my step brother and I have more in common then I thought. Breathing deepily I clear my mind. Think and be calm Hermes girl. You can do this. Be YOU! I stretch out my arms and prentend to fly. The Luna girl gives me a strange glance, but nobody else looks twice. I meet Deserts eyes. Whatever was happening bewtween us we were still a pair. I grin and the confused glare dissapears. Too bad mine's still there...
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.

> Kasey Dresdemonda- Demeter- Thursday<

This was good. I liked this. Ophelia stood beside me silent but strong. Andreas had fire. He truly was a cool kid. For a guy of corse.Ophelia was water. And I was acting like my distant minded cousin again...
' You have to roomies?," I asked Ophelia.
' Yeah." She stuck out her tounge and I smiled.
"Their both true - jerks. Real jerks"
I change the subject, this being on uncomfortable ground.
" Does Hades have a team for the capture the flag team yet?"
' Nah. Cassandra and Georgie won't agree with me."
" Y'all better hurry up with that.'
I suddenly burst out laughing. Ophelia looked at me, confused.
" I said y'all. It's just I never say that. EVER."
She shrugged and I know she didn't get it. She couldn't get everything about me.
" Do you have-a weapon. Like a special one."
'"No not yet," She looked at me, " Why?"
How could I explain? I just shrugged. She would back off. We were both a bit of a loner. I glance across the field.
" Is that your roomie?," I asked watching the girl with thick black hair.
She watched my eyes.
" Sadly."
I bit back my urge to say how pretty the girl was. Then she spotted us.
" Oh boy," Ophelia whispered.
The girl was headed straight for us.
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.

Cassandra [Hades] | Thursday

My hand strayed back to my neck, feeling for the necklace that was no longer there. Where was it? Georgie said she hadn't seen it. I didn't doubt for a second that Ophelia would take it... Then again, it could have been one of the others. I muttered Greek curses under my breath, forcing my hand away from my neck. Last night, I had taken my necklace off and put it next to my bed.

And when I'd woken up that morning, it was gone. I'd already talked to Georgie, but I knew she wouldn't take it. She didn't take things from me. I glared around, then I saw her. Ophelia was talking to some Demeter girl. I growled up my breath, asking Hades for advice for the first time since I'd found out about him being my father.

If my father heard me, he never answered.

Furious, I strode towards them, hand straying back to my neck. Exactly where my necklace should be. I forced it back down. No one would understand, they'd say it was just a necklace... But they won't get it. It was the last thing my mother had ever given me. And it was special, and losing it made me furious and sad.

No one would understand....and if they started asking questions. Tears pricked my eyes, but I swallowed and forced them down. I would not cry. No one was going to see the latest Hades girl cry. I brushed my fingers over my eyes, trying not to cry where anyone would see me. I kept telling myself that they wouldn't understand. Or maybe they would. I shrugged, tried not reach for the necklace that wasn't there, and focused on Ophelia, hoping she knew something.

But I doubted it, even if I didn't like her and she was my first suspect.

Finally, I reached them and stood there, arms crossed and my feet shoulder length apart. I glared at Ophelia and asked a simple question. "Where is it?"

She just blinked at me, confused. "Where is what?" she asked, frowning at me. The Demeter girl stared at me, startled. I don't think anyone was used to the hostility in my voice just at the moment. I must have sounded rather frightening, because the other girl, the younger Demeter one, stepped back. I scared her, but I wasn't about to apologize just yet. I had to know. I needed to know.

"My necklace," I said, biting off the words. "Where is it?"

Ophelia stared at me. "What?"

"My necklace," I hissed, eyes narrowed. "Where. Is. It? And if you didn't take it, then maybe you saw who did?"

Lexie-Ares
>Thursday<

Ah capture the flag. No contest, it's my favorite activity here at camp. What could be better than beating up on those who were stupid enough not to join our team?

So this is how we usually work it in the Ares cabin. Jack and I lead the charge. As the best fighters naturally that is our job. One of us will end up getting the flag while the other one keeps everyone away. It's a simple plan and it works every time.

"Alright listen up!" I called to our teammates. We had Apollo, Demeter (thanks to Andreas), Athena, Aphrodite, and Hephaestus on our team. Not that bad of a team. Although I still want to know who let the Aphrodite kids in. They make me sick. Who would want to sit around all day and do their makeup or their hair. Yuk.

"So, Keen and Regan will hide the flag. You're not gonna find out where our flag is unless you're defense because I know some people have big mouths. And if you rat us out I promise you it will be the last thing you do." I gave everyone my most menacing glare so they would get the point.

"Okay," Jack said, "this is our plan. Lexie and I will lead the charge. All you guys have to do is make sure we don't get hurt. If you find out where the flag is make sure you have backup. If you go in there alone, you're toast. The defense will create a semi circle around the flag and make sure no one gets by them. Got it so far."

Everyone nodded. This was going to be the best game of capture the flag ever. We were so going to win.

Nick~Hermes

Kassie and I put the flag on top of Zeus's Fist, which is what we called a large pile of rocks that lay in the woods. It was a good place to put, for a couple reasons. One, because it was easy to guard, and hard for the other team to climb up there and get it without being attacked. And two, it was kinda symbolic that we put it on Zeus's Fist when we were team Zeus. Also, it followed the rules that said that the flag has to be in plain sight.

On the way back, we talked a bit. About nothing much, but I found that it was really easy to talk with her. I felt more relaxed, more loose, when I was around her.

When we got back to the clearing with the others, Chiron was already rattling on about the rules. 'No intentional maiming and killing' and 'keep the flag in plain sight when you hide it', other boring stuff like that. I ignored Chiron's rambling and looked at our team, team blue. We had the Hades cabin, the Poseidon cabin, and the Dionysus, Hermes, and Zeus cabins.

I was positioned to be on offense with the Poseidon girls and Kassie, we would sneak around on the left flank while Kassie's cabin mates and the Dionysus twins went around on the right flank. The three Hades girls were positioned in defense to watch the border, and Spirit and Desert were set to guard the flag.

"Let the games begin!" Chiron said, and then blew the horn. Everyone scurried off to there positions.

Jack -- Ares

I got to say, I was feeling pretty good going into the capture the flag contest. As per usual, I chose to go with my favorite weapons, my fists and minimal armor to keep me fast. Lexie chose the bigger weapons and armor. That was our strategy and it worked pretty well for us. I was quick and agile, while Lexie had the power to back me up. That wasn't the reasone why I was so happy though, it was because I figured out how Andreas fights. As I figured, he was more powerful when he was angry like he demonstrated in his fight with Lexie, but that only took him so far. With that power, he becomes reckless. It's a typical weakness for Ares kids, but if he can learn to control that anger, he could very well become one of the best fighters in our cabin.

I think I made him even more angry when I said I wasn't going to tell him anything. I was going to help him overcome it, but there was no reason to tell him his weakness. It's one of those things that he needs to find out for himself. I decided I would help him find it, even if he hates me in the process. Oh well, not everyone can like me I guess.

"You ready, Jack?" Lexie asked.

"I was born ready." I said. The horn signifying the start was blown and both Lexie and I charged over to the line dividing the two sides.

"Where do you think it is?" Lexie asked.

"No clue. Let's look for some landmarks. People tend to put flags there."

REGAN-athena

When the old horse guy was talking about the rules, I was strategizing. Zeus would probably place the flag on Zeus's fist, It was obvious. I looked around at the kids on their team, young mostly, and foolish. Most were cleaning their nails or sharpening their weapons-none really prepared for battle. Then suddenly, we were starting. Two Ares camper was blabbing away, telling us what to do and acting superior. I thought of all the flaws in their plans. TWO people leading the charge? You need one leader who can make orders and think fast, not two. A SEMIcircle around our flag? What if we get an attack from the back? I grabbed the flag and ran too hide it with some other person I was assigned with. After placing it and having the defense guard it, I ran forward. I was going to get that flag.

Luna-Poseidon
I was nervous going into the fight, but I wasn't scared now. I didn't want to really hurt anyone, but If it came down too it I guess I would. I was on offense so I'd have to be careful.
" Shhh!" Charlie whispered to me as I stepped on a twig. The crack had been loud enough for the other team to potentially win. I paid more attention to where I stepped. After a few minutes we started to hear swords clashing in the distance. The sounds filled me with more adrenaline as I tried to keep quiet.

Then came the arrows.

I notched three arrows and pulled back on my bow string. Thwung I let fly and the arrows sang. They landed at the feet of the enemy and exploded into clouds of green gas. Fart arrows.

They started coughing and tried to ready there weapons. Ebony sneaked around back, while I approached them head on. They were surprised, gagging, and their vision was clouded with smoke. I knocked one of their weapons away with my bow and stuck a short knife under their throat. It was the new girl, Luna.

I saw Ebony tie ropes around Kassie's hands. We were winning. But there was for of them and only two of us; and soon the green fog would clear.

~ Thursday~

Fart arrows. They were GOOD. Desert dissapeared from my sight and I knew i'd have to get in the zone. Peering into the smoke I watch as Alex and Ebony grab Luna and Kassie from behind. HA. Like they were going to out smart the Hermes cabin. My hand out my rope and my knife I walk silently, trying to make out Luna's baby blue eyes.
" Going somewhere?," I heard from behind me.
The smoke had cleared but I didn't recongnize the voice. The girl put her arms around my neck.
' I'm gonna get that flag and nobody can stop me."
Twisting around, I grabbed my rope and nocked her hand out of the way. Swiftly, I tied up her hands.
" Ah my near newbie," I said," I'm a Hermes girl. You will never trick a Hermes girl."
Spinning away I sprint off in the direction I thought the enemy team's flag was on. I turn back seeing her on the ground.
" I'm Spirit by the way," I say.
" Reagan," she sighed. The fire still in her eyes.
I left her in my dust.

Mission one, rescue Luna and Kassie. I glanced around seeing no enemies. Still... better to not take risks. I grabbed onto the branch on the nearest tree and flug myself up. There. A group of kids patrolling around. Ares by the looks of them. I smirk to myself, reaching into my capture the flag belt. I pulled out a favorite child of Ares trick of mine and scatter it among them. Sleep dust. Always helped.
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.
