Sorry probaly shouldn't post so soon after my last post but I'm REALLY bored and it's REALLY tempting.

~ Daemond- Dioynus~

A new girl had arrived and was dancing around with her sword. I didn't need her help!
" damn," she whispered.
She did something to aggravate and it started dancing around. I sunk my sword into the pigs stomach to hang on. Kicking at it I take out my sword and get ready to stab it again. Something hit it.
Lighning,i think. what stupid Zeus kid was playing with lighting?
The shock made me drop to the ground. The pig ran off me kicking dust into my face. I jump up and manage to leave a long scar on it's back. I turn to the girl.
" What were you thinking? I had it's weak spot?
She just grunts and runs after the monster. I follow.
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.

"Well, it's not my fault you were taking too long!" I snap, I turn and use the nearby lake as a source of my power, I feel the familiar rush and move the water towards the sow, blocking it's path with a water-built wall. "There." I grunt, holding the wall in place so the sow has nowhere to move.
-

Anthony

I curse, "Damn." the sow had fled as did the girl underneath and Poseidon's child had built a large wall blocking me off from accessing the creature while the others on the other side could defeat it. "Thanks, Poseidon." I muttered angrily, and the answering thunder made me cringe. It wasn't exactly a good idea to use sarcasm to a god.
To fly away on gossamer wings, sheer as night's reflective glow, I would could I cradle child hecate to my breast.

Or:

Can't decide.

Tall, broad-shouldered but lanky. Fairly wiry, looks "plucky" or "cat-like" rather than like a body builder, which would be the norm. He has dark, slightly shaggy and in his face hair, which stands up in the back like crazy, grayish eyes that will go from pale quick silver to French-gray/hazel depending on the lighting. He has a light olive complexion as well, he isn't exactly "tanned", more of a sallow shade, as far as his skin tone goes. His features are sharp, eyes a little sunken, and he basically looks like he's about to eat you alive at most points. He also has a slightly-bum right leg and a scar from his right eye to two inches above his jaw line.

Personalities:
So far, he only has one personality. It's harsh, grating, and fairly annoying to the general public. You can add a better-than-thou attitude, a sick, slightly sadistic/sardonic, and dark sense of humor, passive aggressiveness (or plain aggressiveness), and confusion over basic human things to the list. You may also add: commitment issues, an independent nature, and disgust of charity.

Other Personalities: (Likes, Dislikes, Strengths and Weaknesses)
Likes: cleanliness, order, people who agree with him or otherwise ignore him, people who don't speak much, horses, some cats, alternative or rock music, the colors black and gray, and a pyromaniac back home.
Dislikes: mess, chaos, sticky things, bad grammar/bad English, people who bug him, children, dogs, some cats, bright colors, bad weather, and people who get in his personal space.
Strengths: He has a will of steel and he will make you agree with him, even if he has to frog-march you around camp--and if you don't by then, he'll love you (somewhat). He also has a firm sense of right and wrong (sometimes). Generally he likes to be in charge which is a good bad/thing.
Weaknesses: He may attack you if you spill something on him, he can be a little "girly" even if he is a hulking sort of guy (which takes away from the whole generally-scary-vibe), he's clumsy because of his bad leg, he's absolutely terrified of dog or dog-like things, men generally scare him if they're bigger/stronger than him. He still doesn't get along with Ares (which is definitely a weakness).

Brief history: (Emphasis on brief. Just write a short description of how long you've been to camp, what your mortal family is like, and if you've been on a quest, ect.)
He gets along well enough with his Mum, but he doesn't know her too well and that goes both ways rather well. She's a very nervous, high-strung woman, and she doesn't exactly, well, understand the mess she got herself into. His father has thought about smiting him, repeatedly, but he likes his attitude too much to really bother... He's been here for the past year; he came in late. Don't ask why. He has never been on a quest; he figures either they know he isn't a team player or they figure his leg would slow everyone down.

Up for love:
Depends on what you mean by that... He's rather, uh, difficult.

Other:
He's rather good at drawing and painting, actually.

http://www.morphthing.com/showimage/2/0/0/32026951/Alexis-Bledel--Marilyn-Monroe--Christina-Aguilera--Jewel-Staite.jpeg

Medium height, kind of on the scrawny side with collarbone showing under or around her shirt/dress/whatever. She also has short, choppy cut light brown (or sometimes black, or blonde) hair. Normally in the same style. Now, it's brown--like milk chocolate. She has paler skin and freckles along her nose, with big, green-gray eyes. She has her Mom's "pretty" and her Dad's "coloration".

Personalities:
She's very clever and outspoken, a mini-politician if you would. She throws herself into everything and tries to "help" everybody. She's also known for being a little, um, too helpful. She's also very gentle to people she considers "broken". But she still tends to nag them as well. She likes the thought of romance, but hates "Romeo and Juliet"--which leads her to believe she's too logical, but she doesn't care. She's a freedom fighter, as well. She paid a little too much attention to "1984" rather than Greek mythology growing up; she got it on audio book, so she could hear more about it. She has a pretty decent sense of humor, too.

Other Personalities: (Likes, Dislikes, Strengths and Weaknesses)
Likes: general things the normal girl her age likes; kittens, puppies, rainbows, and maybe a hot dude on TV when she's away from Camp Half-Blood. She also has a fondness for explosives. Go figure.
Dislikes: "mean" people, any sort of oppressor, animal abusers, Adolf Hitler (no one likes him), etc.
Strengths: Multi-tasking, being too nice, blowing shiz up, and generally acting as the cute and/or hot person when needed. She has Aphrodite as a parent, after all.
Weaknesses: She's a door mat, she can't focus for more than two seconds (her A.D.H.D. is a little worse than usual), and she may be a little too nice, especially to things that plan on hurting her... She also thinks too much.

Brief history: (Emphasis on brief. Just write a short description of how long you've been to camp, what your mortal family is like, and if you've been on a quest, ect.)

Her Dad is a European History Professor, or something of the like, at a big college. She came to Camp Half-Blood at 11 and has had a pretty normal stay; no quests or anything.

Up for love: Um, duh. But she wants a committed relationship. And, well, she may have a bit of spite in her after all if you, well, mess things up...

Other:
She has a sort of hero-worship thing going for K.J. for no real reason (in his opinion). She thinks he's awesome, totally kick-behind (as her Dad deemed she was allowed to say). This has gotten a few raised eyebrows. She always just responds: "Well, I'm not really his type. Plus, can you imagine the weird looking babies we'd make?", "He dresses in rainbows. What do you think?" (which is true; black is an absorption of all colors, or so she figures, logically), or some other form.
Oh, and she also has the voice of a siren. Just sayin'.

K.J.:

"Well, this looks interesting," I commented, watching as several of my fellow campers tried to fight off a large, pig-like monster. One had made a watery cage for it, while another stood outside pacing. There was now also thunder and lightning. Odd...

"Go help!" I hear Elizabet--//Ella's// voice before she's pushing at my shoulder.

I just chuckle and shake my head, as she pointlessly tries to move me down the hill.

"No way. They have it covered," I say, but I pick my bow off the ground anyway.

You know, just in case one of them is stupid and about gets themselves killed.

>Writen , the thunder is absulotly fine. When ever you use a god's name, it thunders, so I'm guessing that using his name in vain will also make thunder<

Alex~Apollo

I watched as many people tried and failed to kill the pig, the thing seemed invincible! People couldn't get close to it. It's poisonous belch or it's stomping hoves would stop them. And if not that, the thing would fly up, our of reach.

I heard a shout as some more campers- K.J. and Elezabeth- came over half-blood hill, and suddenly I had an idea. I needed to get the monster to follow me. "Hey, pork-chops!" I shot an arrow at it. Of course it didn't do much than anger it. It turned it's hate-filled eyes at me and I started to wonder if my plan was all that great. But there was no turning back now, the beast was charging towards me. And I turned and ran. With all of my might I ran up the hill, towards Thelia's pine, and the dragon. "Chicken!" I heard an Aries kid yell. He started running towards the pig to keep it from trampling me, but I yelled at him to stop. "Let it come!" I pleaded, pointing at the dragon and hoping that he understood. My plan was that the pig would get close enough to the dragon so that it was treading on his territory. Then the dragon would attack, and hopefully bring it down.

I heard the pig get closer. I could fee l it's sickening breath heaving as it ran, and I could feel the ground shake as its hooves hit the earth. I started wishing that I had worked harder at running class with the nimphs, but it was to late for that. If I could just get a little closer, I was almost...there...! Just then my foot caught on a root of the tree and I fell to the ground, I just barely missed getting trampled to death by the sow. It was so close to crushing my head, that it had stepped on my hair, keeping me pinned to the ground.

As I stared into it's monsterous eyes, I prayed to my dad to help me. Suddenly I felt the pig being lift off of me. I peeked open one eye and saw that the dragon had pounced at the pig and now they were fighting. The dragon seemed to be winning, and the pig started to fly up to escape it's teeth, but the dragon rose on it's hind legs and caught it in it's mouth. The sow squealed, but the dragon brought it down. With one final sickening bite to the neck, the sow stopped squerming. I almost hurled my breakfast, but I managed to keep it down. "Good boy." I patted the dragon, "Go ahead and eat it. You deserve it and I don't want it."

Elizabet-Aphrodite:

I raced down the hill and skidded to a halt by the girl. "Are you all right?!" I asked, somewhat frantic.
K.J. really should have shot the pig when he had the chance, he did have a good aim with a bow...of course, he could have hit a kid...
I guess it was finished now, anyway.

K.J.-Ares:

I came up behind Ella, somewhat worried about the dragon getting a hold of her. Sure, it seemed like a useful dragon---but it was a dragon. I still wasn't used to all this magic and botched critter stuff. I just frowned and stood there and watched, arms crossed with my gaze darting from the dragon, the blood, the girl, and Ella--quickly.

"Are you all right?" the girl asked, I just nodded and brushed off my pants. She was pretty and I guessed that she was an Aphrodite girl. I'd seen her around camp before, if only I could remember her name... Elizabeth! That was it. She looked at my hair and couldn't hide the disapproval in her eyes. I suppose it didn't look all that great after getting trampled under pig hooves, and who knows where they had been. My nose wrinkled and suddenly I wanted to take a shower. I was a tom-boy and didn't mind mud, but pig in my hair wasn't all that fun.

Suddenly Luna was there, she put her arm on my shoulder, "You ok?" she asked with concern.

"I'm fine, but I would really like a shower." she nodded, but before she could react I quickly added, "Not right now, I'll wait until I get in the bathroom." I was indicating to her power with water, I didn't want her spraying me.

She smiled and played along, "Oh, all right, if you insist." She pretended to look dissapointed about not getting the chance to use her power. We linked arms and started walking towards the bathrooms. Suddenly I stopped and turned around, I had completely forgot about Elizabeth. I didn't want her to feel left out, so I said, kinda awkwardly, "You can come too... if you want."

K.J.-Ares:

I chuckled and draped an arm over Ella's shoulders. "You wanna go do the whole girls-in-a-bathroom biz? Otherwise I could show you how to aim...maybe...finally..."

Elizabet-Aphrodite:

I shrugged off his arm, then gave him a light punch in said arm. I turned back to the girls. "I guess I'll come. I mean, don't feel bad if this is a "maybe we could invite her" thing. I still have old mister bear here."
"Bear?" K.J. muttered in question to himself, looking confused. "I don't look like a bear."
I just giggled a little. "As you can see, that'd be fine. I can make fun of him a little more..."

I kinda wanted to go, make some friends with girls for once (which might reduce the glares of other girls because, well, I was Aphrodite's daughter). But I wasn't really certain K.J. had any friends either. I mean, I referred to him in a friendly manner as "Cujo" but I don't think others thought that was, um, good...or whatever...

Been a while since I'd seen a dragon. Still, I was a bit dissapointed that I didn't get to slay the pig. That would've been a nice Welcome-back-to-camp. Now let's see if there's anyone I know... The camp was crowded with kids but I hardly reconized a single one. Wait Alex!! I turn, only to see Alex arm in arm with that one young brown haired girl. Right. As if she would notice lil ol' me. Brushing the pig goop off my ripped up jeans I wonder what to do now. Picking up my stuff I wander in the general direction of the Dioynsus cabin, hoping somebody, anybody would notice me. Then again, with my luck any friend would end up dead. Walking backwards, I survey the camp.
" Woah! Watch it!," somone yells as I collide into them.

I shove the boy away from me, "Whoa! Watch it!" I snarl, my eyes blazing as I curl my lip from my teeth angrily. Sometimes I believe my father should have been Ares, but It wasn't and I was one of the big three's children. Good enough. I stood there, dusting off my pantlegs before glaring at the boy again.

Katherine

I let the watery wall collapse, hissing at the drain of power. It hadn't done too much but it had kept the other girl plan in shape. Keeping the sow from running the other way or leaving. I brushed my hands off onto my jeans, then tied back my long hair into a bun.

K.J.-Ares:

I barely refrain from rolling my eyes when I sight the two fighting kids. Already? "Be right back, Ella," I say, before trudging over to the two. "What's up, comrades?" I say, in a faux-deep, growly voice. "In other news, keep it effin' down. Thank you."

Elizabet-Aphrodite:

Can I say "face-palm"? He was going to get himself killed one day--and that could be pretty true for the son of Ares, sticking his neck out when he didn't have to.
I just sigh and watch, worriedly.

Luna- Poseidon

Showering dirt and pig skin off wound usually be disgusting, but I had to make it fun. Using my demigod powers, I heated the water and gave us more pressure than the lame trickle we usually got our of the showers.

" Are you doing this?" Alex said, laughing.

" Me? Of course not, why would bet that Mr.D finally decided to give us decent plumming."

After showering me and Alex parted ways. She was going to go practice shooting arrows or something, you know, campish, while I went back to my cabin, I wanted to talk to KAtherine. I entered the cabin to see her back turned to me as she organized some clothes. I walked over to her and tapped mer on the shoulder " Hey."

She jumped about ten feet. " Ohmygod," She took a deep breath and looked at me. " You scared me."

I laughed. " I can tell. I saw the wall that you made when fighting the sow, sorry I didn't help."

She smiled, " It's OK, I handled it. I've never seen you do anything with water, do you?" I almost laughed. Me? not play with water? She had to be kidding. I opened my mouth to say she was silly and of course I did, when I realized I haddn't done anything all summer, not really.

" Well, I usually do, but I guess I haven't this summer. But I can though," to prove my point I lifted the water out of a bucket in the corner and splashed myself, then to lift the water away again and be completely dry. " See?"

" Oh, yeah," She said. " Hey, I have an idea! Let's do a prank, god style," I laughed, I couldn't help it.

" A prank? seriously?" She frowned, looking dejected when I decided it would be fun. " Sure."

I smiled, immediately warming up to the girl when I had decided of the prank. I turned a moment to look in the mirror and frowned, "You know, sometimes I wish I had Aphrodite's children's looks." I reached up to brush off some mud that had managed to get on my face. "Here." said Luna from behind me, raising the water again and splashing me with it. I laughed, it was cool and felt good on my too warm skin. I scrubbed the mud with my finger and it came off, then I evaporated the water with a simple wave of my hand. "I guess we should begin the planning." I smiled deviously, rubbing my hands together.

Anthony

I whirled, glowering at the boy who'd just confronted me. "What're you going to do if I don't?" I asked snidely, already feeling the electric current running through my veins as my temper spiked. "Do you plan on going into a melee battle oh son of the war god." I sneered at him. "Go play with your swords."

Never forget how special this site is: the older I get, the more I realize how many lonely writers there are who have only family and maybe some friends to read their works. The fact we get free critique, nightly writing pads, free contests and unlimited interaction at *no cost* with people genuinely wanting to help, can not be overstated or overrated
