Luna-Poseidon

I waited behind a tree outside the Hermes cabin. I knew Spirit would see the note soon. I saw her walking towards the cabin. She spotted me and smiled.

" Hi Luna, what are you doing?" She said

" Um, I was was waiting for you," I said, unconvincingly. As I stood there, reasons began to form in my mind. " I was wondering if you would tell me about the book for earlier."

" Sure, totally. It's a book of Hermes pranks, but don't tell anyone, kay? She smiled and showed me the book. Fear flooded me. She hadn't been keeping secrets from me, she had just told me. She couldn't see that paper, she din't need to. I ducked past her and ran into the cabin. Fumbling with the covers on her bed, I found no note. Confused, I spun around to see her leaning against the door.

" You can't trick a Hermes girl."

* I'm just gonna say the last scene was on Friday ok?*
> Spirit- Hermes~ Friday<

Luna spun around her blue eyes shining with fear. She was a pretty little girl. Alot like what Lettie woulda looked like. Stop. Don't even go there , I told myself.
" What are you doing," I asked.
" N-nothing," she said, shoving something behind her back.
I sigh.
" Luna. I told you. You can't trick me."
She looked up at me, eyes shining like the moon.
"I know that."
Not at all what I was expecting.
" Luna, listen. Your a great person n'all but I've had to many secrets lately."
She pauses and fiddles with what ever was behind her back. Luna was cutting short on my happy mood. Suddenly I felt something buzz in my back pocket. My cell. I know demi-god's shouldn't carry those around but it was a cheap, easily disposibole emergancy one. Keeping one eye on Luna I reach for it.
iz me claire. i still hurt but can stil text u! :D Howz camp!
Oh my Claire.
I'm ok claire-bear. Call ya l8tr ok? Love you ,love you and get better! :smt002
I text quickly, one eye on Luna. Sticking the phone in my pocket I say,
" Where were we?"
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.

REGAN-athena
<Saturday> (if that's OK)

I walked into the arena and was promptly confronted by Jack.

" Hey, where have you been? I wanted to practice," He said. " Come on, get some armor on."

" Ok, hold on. You seem pretty excited to get beaten up today," I joked.

The moment I had put on basic armor, Jack was ready to fight. We walked over to an empty spot and started to fight. Jack was using his fists while I was using my recently shortened sword. It was now just a knife. I had wanted to try something different so that if I was ever in a situation where I didn't have my sword I could fight. I got in my usual position facing away from the sun while Jack was squinting into it. I smirked.

" Why you smirking, Regan, Think you're gonna win this time?" Right now was when I usually started to make mistakes. I would focus to much on my words and not enough on my fighting. But I couldn't just leave that comment floating around in my head.

" I'm smirking 'cause you already made a mistake," And with that I lunged at him. He dodged me easily and managed to land a punch to my stomache. Curse those brass knuckles. My armor protected me from most of the hit, but it still knocked the wind out of me. I straitened up and dodged small swipes from him until I was in my starting position. Jack lunged now. His fist collided with my knife and was knocked away. I attacked him again. He was butter this time than last. now this was a real fight. I needed to think quick before I got tired. An Idea struck me at the sam time as his fist struck my arm. I stood strait up and waited for him to attack. I stuck my knife out until it hit his fist. I stuck it under the knuckles and pulled. The spiked weapon came away, leaving him with only one good weapon. I stuck out my foot as he charges again and he was deposited on the ground. I stuck my knife to his throat and said the last words.

" You're dead," Anger flooded to his face. He looked about ready to explode when I spoke again. " How about I teach you some things?"
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Ophelia(Hades)
I left the mess hall, following after Cassey. She had been more than a little bit out of sorts ever since her impromptu visit to the Artemis cabin, and I was beginning to worry. She broke into a run, and I did the same. Where was she going? When she finally stopped, she was on the steps of the Artemis cabin. I might have known.

"Hey." I said, when as sat next to her on the steps.

"Hi." She replied, her gaze focused intently on the Artemis cabin.

'You okay?" I asked.

"Ophelia, there's something I need to tell you."

Saturday

I had been thinking a lot about what Andreas had said. Maybe I should apologize. But why should I? Jack was the one who had a problem with it. Either way, I figured I had better find Jack. I walked out of the cabin and ran straight into Regan.

"Hey, watch where you're going!"

"Wait a second," I argued, "that's my line. You need to realize that you don't own this camp."

"Yeah, and you have to realize that you aren't as tough as you make yourself to be," Regan retorted. This girl was good. "So what do you want?" She asked, hands on her hips.

Two can play at that game. "I'm looking for Jack. Seen him lately? I know you like to make yourself feel good by beating up on him."

Regan scowled. "Yeah, he's still in the arena..."

I shoved past her without hearing what else she was going to say. I was tired of that girl already. I hope she wasn't beating up on Jack too hard. Apparently she was a good fighter, but I definatly thought Jack was better than her. He has to be. I walked into the arena and saw him sitting on the ground taking off his fighting gloves.

"Hey punk. How ya been?" I teased him. He smiled and stood up.

"Pretty good. How 'bout you? Glad to see you're talking to me again."

"Yeah, about that," I said, fidgiting with my fingers. "I wanted to say something."

"Me too." He replied.

"I'm sorry." We both said at the same time. There was a stunned silence, but then we began to laugh.

"Great minds think alike huh?" Jack said. I nodded.

"Did you ever think we would be apologizing to each other?" I laughed. He shook his head.

"Hey," I continued, "I ran into Regan on the way over here," Jack rolled his eyes. I smiled. "Do you want me to help you come up with some new moves? I'd love to see her land flat on her butt the next time you fight her."

Jack grinned. "Sure. Let's get to it."

Nick~Hermes

The fire crackled, the Apollo campers sang, and everyone was eating marshmallows. Looks like a regular camp half-blood sing-along. I was wrong. Just then, Rachel, our Orycal, walked down to the front of the fire and turned to face us; her eyes glowed green.

"Oh this oughta be good," I muttered to Kassie, who was sitting next to me. I was ready for something exciting to finally happen, I was ready for a prophecy.

Green smoke drifted around Rachel as she spoke,
"Seven half-bloods shall answer the call.
To storm or fire, the world must fall.
An oath to keep with the final breath,
And foes bear arms to the Doors of Death
."

I held back a sigh of disappointment. Everyone had heard that prophecy, like, a million times. It wasn't something new. But before I could go back to roasting my marshmallow, Rachel continued. "This quest is for you, Cassandra, daughter of Hades. For you, Lexi, daughter of Ares. For you, Cassy, daughter of Zeus..." Kassie gave an excited "eep" beside me. "For you Jack, son of Ares. For you, Spirit, daughter of Hermes..." Spirit jumped up and I gave her a high-five. By now everyone was holding their breath seeing if they would be chosen. "For you, Regan, daughter of Athena. And for you-" she turned and looked straight at me- "Nick, son of Hermes." My breath caught in my throat. Me? I was going? I couldn't believe it! But the Orical continued, "You will lead them." I look around to see who she was looking at, but the fact was...she was looking at me?

I stood up quickly, "W-wait. What?" I stumbled out. I wasn't sure if I was happy or worried or what. Suddenly I could feel a very heavy load on my shoulders, the load of these peoples life, and the safety of Olympus. You know that expression, a load on my shoulders? Well right then I didn't know if it was just a metaphor. The feeling was so heavy that I had to sit down.
I'm a JESUS FREAK!!!

Lexie-Ares
Monday

We were all at the campfire when Rachel came. Her eyes were glowing green and there was green mist surrounding her. She stood in front of us all and spoke the prophecy. Then she called out the names of those who were to go. My name was one of them. So was Jack's. When she called out his name, we both looked at each other and grinned.

This was my chance. A quest, what I've been waiting for ever since I got to camp. And this group is going to be grateful that they have two Ares kids along. Jack and I would be the brawn of the group. We would end up being the main fighters. Not that no one else can fight, it's just that we're the best.

When I heard Regan was going I wasn't too happy. She really gets on my nerves, but hey, I'd eventually have to get along with her. Just not until after the quest. I'll make it hard for her. Mark my words, she'll want to leave after the first day. Ha.

"Hey Lex, glad we made up huh?" Jack stood beside me. I looked at him and couldn't help smiling. We were the perfect team. "What?" he asked.

"Oh nothing," I reply, "come on, let's go get ready for this quest."

* Looks like Kasey's a bit behind... I'm gonna say the first bit with the Artemis cabin was Thursday and Azula's last post was Monday? Kay!*

> Kasey- Demeter<
Thursday

" Who dares enter the temple of Artemis!",A loud booming, female voice came down.

" Kasey Dresdemonda, daughter of Demeter," I said my voice shaking.
A sound that sounds like a sigh.
"Why are you here daughter of Demeter?"

" I'm not sure... I felt a calling my Lady." I don't know why I called her that but it seemed appropriate.

" The blessing."She muttered,"Here my girl take this and come back whenever you feel heed."

Something floated to the ground. I glance around the silvery room. With a few soft, silvery beds the place looked comfy.

" Sure," I said, grabbing whatever was on the floor," and um thanks for not blowing me to pieces."
She laughed softly and I walked out of the room.

~ Monday~
I guess my aloofness finally caught on with Ophelia.
" What is it?," she asked gently.
" I'm thinking of- your gonna think I'm crazy," I said.
" That's possible." She said shrugging.
I pull out the brochure Artemis gave me.
' I'm thinking of joining the hunters."
She looked at me wide eyed.
"Told you," I muttered.
" No, it's not that," she shook her head," I'd never really- thought of them. The immortality and the power... the maidenhood"

" I guess that's weird, being your dad is lord of the dead."
She shrugged but my comment had disnerved her.

" but why, Kasey? And WHEN"
" I haven't even made up my yet!"
' But you will," her eyes looked misty.
" Do you think I should?"

*Do what you'd like with this Azul. :smt003 *

I was going on the quest.I leaped up high fiving Nick. Finally! I would change the world! Claim a story! I saw Luna looking at me, fear showing in her eyes. I sat down. Rachel conitued. She was creepy, green smoke billowing around her. I'd met her before and when she wasn't being creepy she was really cool.
" For you Reagan, daughter of Athena."
Reagan was going? Oh no. That girl still had it out for me. Maybe some Centaur blood in at-shirt? Six kids could go right?
" Nick, son of Hermes."
Nick was going? We'd both been waiting for this forever! I caught his eye, grinning until Rachel spoke again.
' You will lead them."
She was looking straight at Nick. A gasp caught in my throat. Poor Nick.
" W-wait what?," he choked up.
It was to late. Rachel collapsed to the ground. I had my questions to. What exactly was our quest? Rachel stood up , her green eyes glinting confusion.
" What happened?," she asked.
' We will speak about it later," Chiron ushered her away, leaving the campers to sit alone and think.
Luna approached me.
" About yesterday..."

~Kassie/Zeus~

I placed hand on Nick's shoulder.

"Don't worry," I whispered, "you can do this. I believe you can." When he looked at me, his eyes were soft and worried, like he hoped my words were right. I wouldn't let anything happen to him anyway, I'd help him as much as possible without him knowing it, and maybe even a little with his consent.

He didn't have time to comment, everything went back to normal, Rachel came from her transe and was ushered away. The rest of us went back to talking and eating marshmellows. I sighed, curling my knees to my chest. How was I going to do this? I didn't know a thing about fighting things unless they were of this world, but I was strong, I could do this. As the daughter of Zeus I should not fear, I was the thing to fear.

My confedence was regained, but I was left to worry about Nick. How was he going to do this? Lead seven half-Gods to what could be our death. Why was I picked? Why was I allowed to go but some of the stronger fighters were left here.

If I wanted to go and help on this quest, I'd be working super hard until we leave--starting in the morning.

Jack

I almost jumped for joy when I heard that both Lexie and I were on a quest together. We both had been waiting for years for this. For her, it was for her brother but for me, it was to prove myself to Ares as a worthy son. When I heard Regan was on the quest, I made eye contact with her. I was happy for her, sure, but I had no clue how I really felt. I knew how she stood with Lexie and that was bad at best and she was always beating me. Maybe I was just getting a bit rusty and all I needed was a quest to get me going again. Real stakes.

Both Lexie and Regan has taught me a few moves and I plan to use them. Mostly how to assess your opponent from Regan and actual combat tactics from Lexie. I really appreciated how much they wanted to help me become a better fighter. Even now, I feel even more confident when fighting with Lexie. This was going to be the best quest ever!

I did wonder why Nick was leading the team. Not in a bad way, I mean I was always better with fighting and never was much of a leader, but there was always a reason for the leader and I wondered what the quest had to do with Nick. Why he would make the best leader for this quest. It wasn't even a minor quest. This was THE quest and he has our lives in his hands. I couldn't imagine how he was feeling.

I'm terribly sorry, I'll post up the whole profile thing right now. I appreciate that though, I wasn't trying to confuse anyone nor disrubt the whole plot of things.

Name: Katherine Anderson

Age: fourteen

Parents: Poseidon, and Anna-mey Anderson

Appearance: http://research.cwav.asn.au/KX/WebImages/teenage%20girl.jpg

Personality: She's quite a skilled fighter, her strength is usually underestimated due to her size and she is always planning. She doesn't exactly like to have friends because their a liability and most of the time she's practicing her abilities which seem like fruitless attempts.

Other Personalities: Likes: Fighting, warm weather, boating, animals and the color blue. Dislikes: being a demigod, weakness. Strengths: Fast, fearless, planning, swimming. Weaknesses: Stubborn, dives into things, having friends.

Brief History: Her mother and her lived in a small appartement and were frequently attacked by monsters but her mother would have none of it and forced her to wander on her own to the camp. She was lost, starving, and a group of monsters had her cornered in a small alley with water pipes crisscrossing the wall behind her and it was then that she discovered her powers just before one of the camp herders came by and brought her here.

Up for love: Yes.

Others: N/A

Name: Antoin

Age: 18

Parents: Zeus. Mother unknown.

Appearance: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NO2UOMMYKZ0/SiTbZqt-VsI/AAAAAAAAGZI/bmw5ZnR93Us/s400/SadEmoBoy.jpg

Personality: He's reckless but doesn't exactly want to fight every moment of the day. He's usually drifting away from crowds as they tend to annoy him to the extent of him wanting to obliterate them. He is joking, playful and talkative once he gets to know you. Doesn't exactly feel like he should be the daughter of the most powerful god, Zeus.

Other Personalities: Likes: Stormy days, lightning, fires and heat. Dislikes: large crowds, long conversations and darkness. Strengths: speed, agility, power, quick-witted. Weaknesses: Stubborn, easily-angered, sometimes unfocused and restless.

Brief History: Abandoned as a child, Antoin was brought to a foster home where he was cared for by numerous nuns and yet he was never truly noticed by anyone. He tended to avoid crowded areas while 'moping' about in distant corners of a room where he could think and as years went by stranger things began to happen. Monsters attacked the school, there were frequent break-ins and sometimes even murders in which case he knew he wasn't safe. He ran out of town, looking for somewhere he could have food and a home but all he found was the camp. Which became his only home.

Up for love: Yes.

Luna- poseidon

Well, that was an exciting campfire. I don't really know how I feel, I guess excited that they get to go. I've only been here this summer, so I didn't expect a quest. I walked away from the bonfire towards Spirit.

" About yesterday, sorry," I said. Seriously, couldn't I think of anything better to say? no, I guess not.

" Hey, it's OK, I get that you were mad about me not telling you about the book," how could she be so calm, she was about to go on a quest! " I'm just glad we resolved this before I left," She looked scared now, and also excited. I could tell she was glad to go.

" Be careful!" I said, hugging her impulseivly. She was like a sister, and I didn't want her to get hurt. " Try and save the world, OK?"

" Yeah, I'm totally gonna kick some monster butt!"

Katherine Anderson - Poseidon

I sat at the edge of the small stream, watching the group disperse on what would be their first and maybe only quest. I ripped the grass from the ground, ignoring the water that lapped at my feet even though I was at least two feet away from it. I grumbled angrily, hating the fact that I was a demi-god because it meant I wasn't normal. I'd been in this camp for four years and I hated it. I hadn't even gotten a quest yet! Abruptly, I stood and made my way over to Luna, someone in my cabin. "Hi Luna." I waved awkwardly. God, I needed to practice the whole 'making friends' angle.

Antoin - Zeus

I twisted a bottle cap in my fingers, rolling my eyes at Katherine's attempted greeting to Luna, a poseidon child, while I watched Luna's reaction with a smile. I don't know why, maybe I took a fancy to her but she interested me in a way no one else did, especially considering my father hated hers at the moment, as far as my knowledge told me.
