Demigods: Camp *Still open*

Crouching low in my position under the cavern. I shivered. It was not the cold. It was that girl. Cassandra. Nobody scared me. ( Ok so it was rare.) Something about her... Maybe it was the whole ' My father's the lord of the dead' thing. Yet Ophelia was perfectly cool... Zoneing my thoughts back on the battle I played the little instrument they gave me. A little vine wall was growing around our flag. Oh it was most definitley still in plain sight. It's just anyone who tried to get it would be knocked backwards. Even so, I was tired. I wanted to fight for real. Sneaking out of my little cavern I decided. The walls would hold. I was gonna go knock around some Zeus girls. Smiling, I ran to find my teammates.

Jack

The flag was in the fist of Zeus. Of course, why didn't we think of that before. I signed my discovery to Lexie without actually talking. It was this system we had when we were in battle. Only Lexie, Keed and I know it and soon Andreas will as well.

Lexie and I pushed our way towards the flag through all the other campers. Then I saw something that wasn't part of the plan. It was an Athena girl on the ground. She looked at us and her eyes widened. She pointed up into the trees.

"Dust!" Lexie yelled and I sprung into action. I rolled back out of the way of what looked like glowing bits of air. It wasn't just dust, it was sleeping dust. The culprit looked to be a Hermes girl sitting on a tree branch. She had the advantage. If I tried to climb up after her, she would just throw more dust in my face. If I tried to run through, I may be able to make it through, but not Lexie and I needed her for backup. I could see the fist of Zeus just ahead of me. I was so close, I could not stop now that I have made it so far.

We were on a roll, I had tied Kassie's hands up but the gas was starting to disspear and they would be free again.
We were still trying to figure out were they had put it.

We were running as far as they could, me dragging Kassie along. Alex seemed to know where she was going to hide Kassie and Nick before they could see proper.

We had been runnig for about a minuite when somthing hard hit me right across the head. I fell to the floor.

Nick had threw a rock at me, that boy was seriously turning evil! i could feel abit of blood running down my cheek, i didnt think it had hit that hard until i tried to stand up.

Then i fanted...

As if a simple rope could hold me to the ground. I turned, reaching into my pocket to grab the knife. As I sawed away at the rope, I started feeling sleepy. Not a good thing.
The two Ares kids trying to act superior crashed through the trees. I looked up, signaling the dust above. As they were looking up the rope finally broke and I was free. I tucked my face in my shirt and ran towards the flag. I dodged silly traps that the Hermes cabin had obviously set and ran toward the flag. I was not the only one smart enough to cover my face. A Dionysus boy- I didn't know his name yet- stepped in from if me, sword in one hand while covering his face with another. I sidestepped him and pantsed him with my sword. The rush of blood to his face was almost enough to make me stop and laugh, but I had a job to do.

Jack

I saw the Athena girl run and grab the flag, so I motioned to Lexie to hide behind the nearest tree as I intercepted her. She easily took out a Dionysus boy and dodged the traps set by the Hermes cabin easily. To be honest, I was impressed even though she risked ruining our whole plan with her little stunt. The Hermes girl in the tree decided it was in her best intrest to hang back. That was probably a smart move. I looked over to Lexie, she was ready to help out if I needed it and was out of immediate sight.

"Good work." I said to the Athena girl, "What is your name?"

"Regan," She said, "Now, get out of my way, I have a game to win."

"We are in no immediate danger, I have seen too that. My name is Jack, by the way." I extended my and, but she ignored it, "Look, I am impressed with your skill, but now you should leave it to the professionals."

"I didn't see you helping at all." She said. Well, she had the Athena stubbornness. I guess it was to be expected.

"Just give me the flag and help Lexie keep the cabins off my back. You may be skilled, but I would feel better if I had the flag."

Regan just raised an eyebrow at me. She waved the flag in front of my face as if she was teasing me with it. That was the last straw, I quickley knocked the flag out of her hand and caught it with my free hand.

"What the!" Regan began.

"You are too cocky," I said, "don't worry, though. I will make sure you have some of the glory for this capture." Regan looked like she wanted to punch me in the face, but I wasn't going to stick around to see if she would. I bolted towards the line with the flag. I could hear Regan and Lexie behind me keeping the other cabins at bay. I used my superior agility to dodge traps, and other cabins instead of engaging in a fight. I kept on sprinting until I made it across the line. I yelled out in triumph. We had won the game!

*Sorry if I ended it quickly, but I wasn't going to be at the computer for most of the day today, so I figured it either now or never. *

That's fine with me. I was actually going to ask you to end the game, because it was going a little longer then I hoped.

How. Could. I. Be. So. Stupid! Two mistakes in one game! I retired to my cabin in thought. The only reason I had made the mistakes was because I was getting distracted. My reflexes were good- I had done a test once where you had to hit a button after it turned green and I pressed the button in record time. What was with me? It must be this camp. I longed for the quiet emptiness of forests in sumer, Or the calmness of being with my dad. i slumped down on the bed. I'd had the flag, I could have won- I just kept talking.

Next morning- friday? i think?
I woke up before dawn. My dreams had been disturbing- I had relived almost every memory of monsters attacking me in the night. Of course I had won all of those, except the last, the flag. Because it was so early and the woods near the camp would be empty, I decided to go for a walk.
As I sat surrounded by trees, I formulated a plan. If I ever wanted to win anything, I needed to stop thinking like I was in the real world. I was used to fighting wild animals who, once defeated, didn't get up. These campers did.

Athena is on the Ares team and Ares won. *points to DT*

Oh, and Post coming soon. We're planning something. >.> (And no, I'm not telling you who the rest of the "we" are. lol)

The game was fun, but too bad we lost. I was lying down on my bunk when someone came in. It was Spirit, from Hermes.
" Hey. Good job in capture the flag. I saw you take out the girl from Athena. Pretty fast thinking." She smiled.

" That's just what Hermes girls do. She was being a jerk anyway. I just came by to see if you were alright. You looked kind of bruised up at the end of the game." I wondered why she cared. I wasn't in her cabin, and some other guy had almost died from a concussion. Compared to that the raw skin where an Apollo camper stuck a knife, I hadn't been hurt at all.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I paused " Umm, thanks for coming over." She smiled and left without another word. Odd.

I know, but if you look at the DT ( topic70313-30.html ) then you'll see that Ithy's character deserved the right to carry the flag across, that's why he took it from you.

Oh, I didn't know. I really am new.

I am going to stop this.... sorry to all of those people involved with my characters. I have been really busy lately.
