ALIRI

I smirked. This was going to be quite the day, I could feel it. I didn't know what was going to happen, but I knew that it would happen. That and it would give me an excuse to start up a brawl with who-knows-who who-knows-when.

I stepped out of the trees and layed down in the grass, letting the sun bathe me. My eyes slipped closed and I let out a yawn, pondering. There was something strange about this day. Good or bad, I was't sure. All I knew was something was bound to happen.

A twig snapped behind me and I picked my head up and opened my eyes, training my ear towards the noise. "Who's there?" I demanded, rising to me feet slowly.

Raven
I stepped on a twig and it snapped. I cursed silently as Aliricia asked who was there. "It's me." I said walking out of the forest. She looked at me confused and I asked "What?" "What were you doing?" She asked curiously. "Oh I was stalking a grasshopper." I said cheerfully. She looked at me and chuckled.

Jake

I ran through the trees. A good run was just what i needed, i had been watching the Thumb's camp for days. I decided since they weren't doing anything i would leave them be... for now. No way were they taking over MY home planet. I looked at the trees and inhaled the scent around me. I was in unknown territory. Cat territory, as i called it. A lot of felines liked to hang out in this area. I stepped out of the trees to see a two kitties right there. I wagged my tail happily.
"who are you?" I stopped wagging my tail and inspected them.
"Hello there. I'm Jake, no threat here." I walked up to them but one tensed up, and the other cringed away. I continued to smell them anyway. they didn't smell like a threat.
"Who are you?" I asked trying to be friendly.

ALIRI

I backed up a step. The thing was sniffing me! A canine thing, obviously. Not that I minded canines, they were alright, but that whole sniffing thing was irritating.

"Who are you?" he asked cheerfully.

Well, that sort of screwed up all plans of relaxation I had for the afternoon. I glared at him. "Aliri." I turned towards Raven, my tail twitching slightly. "Something's wrong, I can feel it. Either that or something is very right. Have you heard anything from the Thumbs?"

Raven shook her head, but Jake piped up. "They haven't been causing any problems...yet."

"Good." I eyed him suspisciously. "Don't you dare mark anything here either." I chuckled and sat down. The second they started irritating me, I'd have to get rid of them.

Raven
My eye twitched and I glared at the canine. I hissed raising my hackles and baring my fangs. "Raven." Aliri said quietly. I looked at her and sat down. "Sorry." I said meekly.

JAKE

I flinched away from the kitty.
"Be nice." I joked. "I haven't done anything yet. The thumbs haven't done anything for days, they're boring to watch." I said flopping down. I started panting, god it was hot out today. I lobbed my tounge out.
"aw is the puppy tired?" I jumped up, wagging my tail.
"Nope, it's just so warm out..." I trailed off watching my tail. I wanted to see if i could ever catch it. "Do you guys think if I chased my tail i could catch it?" I took a step to the left, turning towards my tail. The kitties snickered a bit.
"Your such a puppy." I looked at aliri.
"Maybe i am." I smiled at her, i was only four.

ALIRI

I shook my head and chuckled, throughly ammused. I quite honestly liked Jake. he was an ammusing one. "I think I'm going to head out. Enjoy your cocky selves and try not to eat eachother." I stood up and turned, plodding away.

I paused to look over my shoulder. "Those Thumbs are just waiting you know. They'll spring back sooner or later." I kept walking, feeling pleased. So far nothing had happened, but it was going to happen. I just knew it.

Raven
I smiled slightly at Jake. He was amusing if nothing else. I stretched luxoriously yawning in the same motion. "What's up with you?" Jake asked. "I was up for the past 5 nights." I said still yawning. "Why?" He asked. I gave him such an icy glare that he actually stepped back. "None of your business." I said my voice matching my gaze.

Laika

I heard the voices before I could see who was crouched in the valley, not far from where the Thumbs were.

I had been watching them for a while, when Jake crashed through the brush and ruined my vantage point. He was sweet. Slightly oblivious, but it seemed he had been keeping an eye on the Thumbs as well, which emboldened me. I trotted into the clearing and was surprised to see more cats than usual. I kept a wide birth and opened my mouth in a narrow, canine grin. I didn't speak, just sat, inconspicuously, indicating that they could continue their conversation, if they wanted.

JAKE

"Sorry, just curious." I said stretching out as well, i smiled at the other dog type. "I've been up for the past few days as well, i couldn't sleep around the thumbs, i just don't trust them." I shook my head and looked at my tail again. One day i would catch it.
"I don't blame you. In times like this trusting people, animal or thumb, isn't safe." She was right, well about the thumbs anyway. I trusted animal people, unless they gave me a reason not to. I saw my tail wagging again. I gave a low pitch growl, then chased after it, i wanted to get that tail, if it was the last thing i did. I could hear the cat and dog snickering at me.

Saber

I lightly stepped on the dried leaves and twigs, with my ears forwards. There was a rabbit about 6 tail lengths away. creeping up behind it, I was about to make my move when it's ears pricked up at the sounds of voices. I lunged forwards, but it was too late, it had gotten away. "Fox dung! Someone's going to pay!" I ran off towards the voices. As I got closer, I could more voices. I pushed myself into a clearing, There was two female cats, a female coyote, and a male dog. "Who do you think you are! Talking as loud as you can! I was on the tail of a fat, juicy rabbit!" They all looked up at me like I was crazy.
