***I got an 'A'!***

Cait

Cait followed Bianca and Lena to the classroom. But she felt like doing something different today - she decided she would sit at the back of the room, near the center, rather than up front. What she would do back there, she hadn't figured it out yet. But she was fully aware of the second door right behind her; maybe she could slip out and go to the theater? Maybe she could do this for all of her classes.

Yep, she smiled. An excellent idea.

Sky

Today was another one of those days that Sky was going to be late for school. Again, she had slept through her alarm clock, and hurried to get dressed. She didn't even have time to put on her make-up, or eat breakfast. Rushing down to the street, she picked up her bag on her way out, checked her watch, and realized she had missed the bus.

Dang it! was the first thought to pass through her head as she took off down the street, her shoes slapping hard against the pavement. I'm going to get kicked out of school if I don't stop being late! A local transit bus chugged past her slowly, and with a quick leap, she grabbed onto the back of it, nearly falling to the pavement. With a divine streak of luck, she caught herself at just the right moment, and rode the bus till it's next stop.

Thankfully, it was only a block away from her school. She jumped off the bus and ran like she was being chased by wolves. Entering the school house, Sky navigated herself to her classroom, except this time she didn't even stop to open the door. Sky ran straight through the back wall of the classroom, using her abilities to slide right through the door. Unfortunately, she had not quite got it right, and got herself stuck halfway through the wall. Her class mates turned to look at her, some chuckled and laughed. Her teacher had her back turned, writing something down.

Crap! I gotta get out of this wall before she turns around!

(Ok guys, how is that? I guess I'm in Cait and Bianca's class now, I dunno. )

Hey, sorry I didn't get around to the Taki post. I didn't have turn to do it on the first as I hoped I might and since then it has been my sister's birthday weekend so we've had guests to entertain. I'm still only on briefly right now but might have a chance this evening <3

((Sorry, I had a lot of family come in for fourth of July weekend...))

Lena

I walked in to the school building while talking to Cait and Bianca. As soon as we got in the class room my feeling of dread worsened. Some kids were talking about their exams and how they did, and from what I heard, not one of them failed. Which proved my point as to why we should not be here.

Suddenly the warning bell rang for class and everyone walked over to there seats. Sighing I sat down in my seat and got comfortable. I then reached down into my book bag and pulled out a book. This time I was reading “The Lord of the Rings” by J.R.R Tolkien. The bell rang and everyone became quite.

Putting the book in front of my face, I began to read where I last left off. After reading for a little bit I feel a pair of eyes glaring at me. Glancing over my book I noticed that it was my teacher. I then glimpsed at the bored next to her, nothing I didn’t know. Ignoring her stare, I started to read my book again.

(I guess we were all busy over the weekend. I'll forgive you guys this time. I'll post something later, after everyone else has had a chance. At times of peace in this storybook, like when our characters are at school, don't be afraid to take charge for a bit. It's not much fun if everyone is waiting for one guy to do something. This is your chance to be creative with your character development, like you did during the exams.)

Takeo

How did I do that? The question was still filling his mind as Takeo walked to class and he hadn't come any closer to an answer. It just didn't make sense, it wasn't possible and he couldn't explain it. Moving a human was hard. It was very, very hard and certainly level four stuff and... well. While Taki was a very good level three, he'd tried it before and he'd always struggled to make a person stumble, never mind fly through the air like that. And it had been easy. That was what amazed him most. It had seemed the most natural, effortless thing to do.

Taki reached out to put his hand on the classroom door and then realised a girl was walking just behind him. He looked over his shoulder, surprised. Oh. He knew her. It was that younger girl, the really adorable one who always had her hair in pigtails and took the same bus as him. Which of course was how she'd come to be right behind him.

Without a word, Takeo opened the door, stepped inside and then decided he might as well hold it out for her. He did so theatrically, with a little wink before he strode off to his seat and slouched back in the chair. Now. What was he going to do? Obviously he should see if it had been a one time thing or if this was permanent. And if so, it was obvious. The only new thing about him today was that orb and no wonder the bad priest man wanted it back if it gave people extra power. That was awesome! And he was defineately going to be keeping hold of it.

When the teacher entered and started talking, Takeo looked up a little and was surprised to find Ayaka giving him a confused look from her seat near the front. Takeo forwned. What was she looking at him like that for? Had his hero antics made her decide to fancy him or something? Any other time that thought would have amused and delighted Taki but instead he felt worried. Who wouldn't find him odd now. His power had suddenly taken a huge leap in strength and here he was supposed to be hiding! This sucked. He couldn't boast about how amazing he was when it was likely to bring the scary priest after him.

Bianca

As she walked in with Cait and Lena, Bianca expected to find herself seeking a seat at the back all on her own. The other two girls liked to sit further forward afterall. Except this time Cait followed her. Bianca gave her a curious look and then shrugged, dropping into her usual seat and scattering her stuff across the desk. Cait didn't take anything out.

Bianca found herself unusually interested in making friends with her. What was with that? Since when did Bianca hang out with soppy, whiny girls? Since now it seemed.

"Weird day huh?" she remarked to Cait who nodded but didn't say anything back. Ah well. That would teach her for trying to talk to girls. Bianca was just preparing for another boring class when she saw a girl with short, red hair who seemed to be stuck in the wall. She snorted in amusement but felt a little sorry for the kid. She was going to be caught being late for class! That sucked. But hopefully the teacher wouldn't turn around before she'd figured out how to get through.

Ayaka

Ayaka kept glancing at Takeo all throughout the class. His display of power this morning, how had he managed it? He was only a Level 3 after all. Had he somehow gotten stronger, or was he always that strong and he just didn't let anyone catch on? No, that couldn't be right. Taki was the type to brag about anything that he thought made him better than others, which begged the question; why was he suddenly so quiet this morning? Was he really trying to hide something.

As Ayaka kept pondering, she started to think, Was he the one I saw in my vision last night? Now that she thought back on it, the boy in her dream looked similar to Takeo. He even had red highlights in his hair. If Taki really was the one she saw in her dream, then what did those twelve orbs and fiery monster represent, and how did his new found power tie into all of it?

One thing was for sure, this wasn't something she could simply ignore. Maybe she should keep an eye on him, to see if anything strange happens?

Cait

Cait looked over her shoulder, hearing Sky grunting as she tried to phase through the wall and sneak into class. If she got caught... They had to do something. She looked across the room; Lena was reading her Lord of the Rings book, probably for the third or fourth time this year. What if she could go up to the teacher's desk and start talking to her, getting her to face the board, about the book and all that it could potentially represent? That the elves were similar to the Greeks, and the Rohan people were like American Plains Indians, and then Orcs were probably derived from an African nation... She sighed. No, that wasn't too good a distraction...

But what if... There was a window pane beside the teacher's desk, the view passing behind the chair, next to the chalk board. Cait leaned a little toward Sky.

"Get ready to finish phasing. I'll distract miss boring-motor-mouth."

Cait began to hum softly, getting a breeze to play at the glass' edges, finally dislodging the panel and making it clatter to the floor, breaking into a million little shards as wind rushed through the hole, blowing papers off the desk and making a little tornado around the teacher. She squeaked, focusing on catching and replacing every last piece, but to hardly any avail. They had a distraction.

And not only could Sky get into class, but Cait could slip out.

(I think I've figured out what to do with Jordan, but it'll have to wait until after taki gets attacked for the orb again. And sorry for the long post. Sometimes you just get into the groove and you can't stop. )

Cait made her way toward the theater in the other building. Their school consisted of two buildings. The one she was currently in was the main building, where all the academic classes take place like Math, Japanese, English, History, etc. The second building, connected to the first by way of a small bridge-like hallway, was where all the classes like Art and Music took place. It also had a swimming pool on the roof. That reminded her, she would have to try and go for a swim before the school grounds were closed for the summer.

The entrance to the second building was on the second floor. Why they hadn't also built another one on any of the other floors when it was built was beyond her. On the way she passed by Ren's class. She overheard the teacher talking about AIM fields. Cait frowned. She could never understand most of the techno mumbo-jumbo about psychic abilities, it always put her to sleep. Why would she need to learn about the quantum-physics involved with her ability if she could already control it just fine?

Ren, on the other hand, was more adept at remembering this kind of stuff. Which probably meant the teacher wasn't talking about something he doesn't already know. Maybe she could get him to skip class with her? He was probably asleep at his desk anyway. Cait quietly slid the door open a few inches and peeked inside. There was Ren, and sure enough he was sleeping.

Cait fought not to giggle, she didn't want the teacher to catch her. But, how was she going to get Ren's attention? She would have to wake him up first...

"Ren!" the teacher called. Ren jumped in his seat, his head whipping left to right in confusion. A couple other students giggled at his reaction. "I hope you were enjoying your nap."

"Sorry, Sensei," Ren said.

"Well, if you're sleeping in class that obviously means you know this stuff off by heart. Tell me, what does AIM stand for?"

Without even having to think, Ren answered, "An Involuntary Movement."

The teacher nodded. "Very good." He turned back to the blackboard and started explaining to the class when the term had officially been coined.

Cait smiled, at least he was awake now. She looked around and found a discarded wrapper on the hallway floor. She picked it up, crumpled it into a ball, and tossed it at Ren while the teacher wasn't looking. The piece of trash bounced off the side of his head. He started looking around to see who had thrown it when he noticed Cait standing just outside. She motioned with her hand for him to come with her.

Well, it's not like I'm learning anything new here, Ren thought. But if he was going to leave he would need a distraction. He looked at the teacher, who was now facing the class. Ren snapped his finger, and a small flame sparked to life on his shoulder. The teacher panicked as he tried to put it out while the rest of the class was either panicking with him or laughing. Ren used this chance to slip out into the hallway with Cait.

(Interesting fact, by the way. In most classes in Japanese schools you don't change rooms for different subjects. You stay in your homeroom and the teachers who teach other subjects come to your room. The only exception is music class, flower arrangement, and tea ceremony class.)

((Sorry, I could not think of anything else. Plus, I'm probably going to have trouble posting next week, but I'll try to get on whenever I can to post.))

Lena

After an hour of ignoring the teacher, she finally stopped glaring at me. Getting bored of the part that I was at, I put the book down and looked around the room. Sighing I noticed that Cait had left and only Bianca and me where left. Cait was lucky, she was probably out doing something fun right now, while Bianca and me were sitting here just waiting for class to end.

Suddenly an idea hit me, we could get out as well. Raising my hand, I tried to get the teachers attention. Turning around, she finally acknowledged my hand.

“What is it Lena?” She asked exasperated.

“I don’t feel so good.” I commented while leaning over to hold my stomach as if in pain.

“Would you like to go to the nurses office?” She requested.

Giving a weak nod, she asked who would like to take my to the nurses office. Behind me, Bianca raised her hand. Glancing around the teacher smiled when she saw the Bianca’s hand was raised.

“Bianca, how about you take her?” The teacher suggested.

Nodding, Bianca then walked over to me and walked me out the door. While walking, we made a plan of how to ditch school. Going into the nurses office, we waited. After a little while, she asked to see my. By the time she was done, she was fully convinced that I was sick somehow. She told Bianca that she could take me home and then have the rest of the day off. Our plan had worked and we were now free!

They're all skipping class now? O.o I'm pretty sure the teacher would notice that... ah well.

Takeo

The first set of classes came to a close without anything spectacular happening. Takeo didn't even get picked on to answer a question which he found just a little strange. Usually the teachers loved to try and trip him up to curb his ego but in all honesty none of it ever worked. If he didn't know the answer, he just made a joke and shrugged it off. It wasn't cool to know everything afterall. Know it alls sucked. Everybody knew that.

Walking down to the lunch hall, Taki waved away the usual offers to eat with people. Sometimes it got annoying to have the level twos sucking up to him just because he had a really handy power. It even made him feel used. Who did they think they were anyway? Daring to try and be his friends? Hah! He wouldn't mind that actually though. If they really wanted to be friends. But they didn't. Friends did stuff for each other without wanting anything in return. They didn't decide they wanted to sit with Taki because they wanted him to help them move a load of stuff about. How stupid did they think he was?

So Takeo got his lunch and found an empty seat near some other empty seats. He had a plan though. He was going to test out his powers and if he really could move a person again, so easily then he was going to demand a re-test.

Taki chose his victim carefully. A big level one boy who should be hard to move and who liked to pick on the little kids. Really he was doing everyone a favour, clearly! They should be very grateful to him. He waited until the boy had placed his tray on the table and then acted. He reached out with his power, intending to make the boy scratch his butt. That would be so funny, hah hah! And then maybe he could pick his nose and... oh shit. Taki must have over-estimated how much he needed. The boy smacked himself on the butt and let out a loud yelp. Oooops!

Bianca

Skipping class wasn't a first for Bianca but she'd never skipped with a girl before. She found herself shooting curious glances at Sky as they made their way out of the school.

"Well I guess I'll see you around then..." Bianca hesitated, unsure of how this worked. Normally she'd skipped to go boarding with her friends at the skate park but she couldn't see Sky as the type to know her way around a board.

"Wait! Where are you going?" Sky asked, walking alongside her. "Skipping class alone is dull."

"Oh uh... well I was going to go board y'know?" Bianca shrugged, feeling awkward. "I guess you could come."

"Board. As in skate board?"

"Yeah. You up for that?"
