We all had played the boxing game for a while. After that we moved on to the other games like Time Crisis, Racing games and we even played air hockey. Having finally done all those we all were ready for are last game, Dance Dance Revolution. The first people to play were Ren and Cait, they were both pretty good and they only missed a few here and there.

After them Bianca stepped up on the dance pad. She waited for a second, then turned around and looked a me expectedly. At first I was not going to play, but with the encouragement of the others, I mange to bring myself to step on the pad. That had my first time playing Dance Dance Revolution and despite what I thought, it was really fun.

Afterward we all decided that we were hungry. So we decide to go out to eat in celebration of our exams being over. We walked up the street a little bit, then decided on a small café that we all seemed to like. We sat down at a table, talked a little bit, had our food then walked on our way home.

***Just letting you know I'll be gone to my college for a two-day orientation event. I don't know if I'll be able to get to a computer or not until Wednesday.***

Cait and Jordan

She waved farewell to the other girls as the group parted ways. Cait wasn't ready to go just yet; she walked with Ren for a little while.

"So, you feel any better?" she asked, hoping she knew the answer.

He nodded, smiling. "Despite being with three girls for an entire afternoon - " he laughed " - yes, I feel much better. Thank you."

Her smiled faded as she looked up and just beyond Ren's shoulder. A mysterious, frightening-looking guy was walking toward them, and Ren wasn't paying attention. He walked right into the darker man's shoulder, causing them both to halt.

Jordan grabbed Ren's arm, steadying them both. "Watch it, kid." And then he let go, turning away and continuing down the street as if nothing happened.

Cait swallowed. She didn't like the feel of that guy, his presence... She watched him, expecting the worst at any second.

(That's fine. Thanks for letting us know.)

Ren

Cait let out a quiet sigh of relief when nothing else happened. The man continued to walk, disappearing among the crowd. "What was his problem?" Ren asked.

"I don't know, but I don't like the look of him," Cait said. "I hope we don't see him again."

Ren changed the subject as they continued down the street. "So, this is the last week of classes before summer vacation, huh?"

Cait nodded. "I don't see why we still have go to school for the rest of the week, we already finished our exams."

"I think it has something to do with retests, so in case someone felt they didn't give it their all during the first test they have the chance to try again."

"I know, but it's not like anyone ever does. I mean, who would want to go through that again?" Cait asked.

"I know what you mean, but it's always been like that. They're not going to change it just so we can have an extra week of vacation."

"Yeah, I know. But it still sucks." They came to Cait's dorm complex. It was a little nicer than Ren's. It was because of her grades. In Academy City, the better your grades the better your living arrangements. "Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow, Ren," Cait said.

"Yeah, see you in class." They parted ways, Cait going into the apartment complex and Ren continuing down the street toward his own.

(Well, it's been a week and darkangel_05 and allmixedup have not posted, which means we're going to have to go on without them. I'm just glad Undertaker is still with us. Just a notice for the future, if you know you won't be able to post for a few days, or a week even, let me know beforehand. Anyway, Kitty15 can take control of Bianca, and I'll take control of Ayaka.)

Takeo

With a yawn, Taki kicked off his shoes and flopped across his bed. He lay there for a bit, not thinking, not moving. Not doing much of anything and then with a nervous laugh he rolled over and stared at the orb in his palm. It was glowing blue.

"What are you?" Taki wondered, not feeling stupid at all for talking aloud. After his day he felt that it was justified. Takeo gave the orb a little shake and it pulsed in response, the glow dimming a little and then shining bright. Taki traced the zodiac symbol with his finger. Aries. That was his zodiac symbol. Man, this was too much of a coincidence to be real.

"But I'm not dreaming." Taki scratched his head and then cautiously placed the orb on his bedside table. Its glow winked out. He let it sit there for a moment and then picked it up and put it in the drawer instead. And five minutes later he was moving it again.

"Where can I hide you?" Takeo asked himself. He couldn't very well sleep with a glowing ball in his hand but he didn't want it out of reach or out of sight. With a sigh, Taki got up and started searching through his drawer. He felt stupid as he selected a clean pair of shorts. He threw his other clothes in a pile on the floor and pulled them on, zipping the orb up in the pocket. "Guess this will do for now," he decided. He got back into bed and used his powers to turn the light off and pull the covers back over himself.

Ren

Ren arrived at his apartment complex just as the sun was starting to set. Today had been a busy day, and all he wanted to do now was to get into bed and go to sleep. On his way up the stairs he bumped into another apartment resident, Toma Kamijo.

Toma was around Ren's height with black hair and was a year younger than him. He lived a couple of floors down. Toma and Ren were friends. They didn't go to the same school or anything, but they got to know each other just by living in the same building and running into each other every so often. Ren always felt a little bad for him, since Toma was a Level 0 and would be for the rest of his life.

Ren smiled when he saw him, since he hadn't seen him for a couple of weeks now. "Hey, Toma. I haven't seen you in a while. How've you been?"

Toma gave him a confused look, as though it was the first time he had ever seen Ren. "Uhh..."

Ren frowned a little. "Don't tell me you've forgotten your good pal Ren?"

Toma smiled back, although the smile was a little nervous around the edges. "Of course not."

"You feeling okay?" Ren asked. "You look a little out of it today."

A look passed through his eyes, but Ren couldn't catch what it was because it had been so quick. "I'm just a little tired from the tests today."

"Let me guess, you're still at Level 0?"

Toma sighed. "Yeah..."

Ren smiled and put his hand on Toma's shoulder. "Don't feel too bad, I wasn't able to advance either. It looks like I'll be a Level 2 pyrokinetic for the rest of my life, too." Ren lifted his other hand to create a small flame in his palm to illustrate his point, but when he tried the fire didn't appear. Ren looked at his hand, frowning. "That's weird..." He started snapping his finger, as though it would help to start the fire. Still, nothing happened.

"Oh, that's right, I've got somewhere to go tonight. I've got to leave now or else I'll be late," Toma said, gently taking Ren's hand off his shoulder. "I'll see you later, Ren."

"Okay, bye." Ren watched as his friend ran down the stairs. When he was gone Ren looked at his hand again. He tried one more time, and this time the flames appeared. "Weird..." he mused as he went up to his room. He decided to let it go as he got ready for bed. Even though the tests were done, he still had to go to school in the morning.

Ayaka

Ayaka stopped by the convenience store on her way home that night to stock up her fridge. She had meant to do it yesterday, but forgot. She had been right about passing the test, but she was still Level 1. Even though her performance was good, the aftereffects of using her power kept her from advancing. Until she could look into the future without getting headaches she would stay at Level 1.

There's always next time, she told herself as she arrived at her dorm. As soon as she put all the food into the fridge she went to her medicine cabinet in the bathroom to take something for her headache. After that, she got changed and climbed into bed. She waited for the painkillers to kick in before she was finally able to sleep.

That night, she dreamed. She saw the night sky filled with stars. Twelve objects fell from the heavens, orbs from the look of it. The unearthly sphere all glowed with a blue light, and each one bore a different symbol. Then, she saw a young, familiar looking boy. He reached out to touch one of the spheres, and when he did the ground erupted with fire. A great devilish looking beast rose from the cracks and reached out to strike the boy. The boy instantly caught on fire from the creature's touch. He screamed in agony before his body turned to ash.

That's when she woke up. Ayaka gasped as soon as her eyes flung open, as though she had been holding her breath in her sleep. She shot up into sitting position, wiping a cold sweat off of her brow. She had never experienced a dream like that before in her life. The images had been so vivid, as if she had been there watching it with her own eyes. Was it just a dream?

She knew better, of course it wasn't. Nothing that felt that real could ever be just a dream. But exactly what were those stones she saw? And what about that boy? She tried to think of where she may have seen him before, but every time she tried to remember his face she came back with a blank image. Usually her dreams had a meaning to them that she could understand, but this time she had no idea what she had just seen. One thing was for sure, though. If she really was seeing the future, it meant someone was going to die...

((Sorry about how short it is...))

Lena

I had had a nice walk home. When I got up the stairs to my apartment I walked in and immediately sat down on the couch. Smiling to myself I reminisced on the even of today. I had learned the I could control blood, which was kind of creepy. I had met some really nice people, and hopefully they would become good friends. I had come to the conclusion the over all, that had been a good day.

I then looked over at the clock. Deciding that I was probably not going to do anything for the rest of the night, I got up walking back to my room, got dressed in my pajamas and came and sat back on the couch, but before I sat down I decided to get a book so I could read it on the couch. Walking over to my bookshelf, I picked “Maximum Ride” by James Patterson , which was my favorite book. I then went back to the couch, sat down and started to read my book.

(Okay I'll control the character for now but you're welcome to it back shoult you return Em)

Bianca

Pushing a strand of blonde hair behind her ear, Bianca let out a whoop as her skateboard smacked against the pavement and she skidded to a halt. Woah. That had been amazing. She started laughing and fought to catch her breath, very pleased with herself. People on the sidewalk were looking around, eyeing her with surprise but Bianca didn't care. Boarding was fun! Sometimes it was even more fun than teleporting. Sure the other was quicker but you had the feel of wind in your hair and the sound of wheels on the tarmac.

"Yee-hah!" Bianca called as she took the corner quickly and climbed the curb. But the light was fading fast and she didn't want to be teleporting home. After a whole day of testing, the night was going to be plagued by headaches enough already. Turning her board around, Bianca picked out a quick enough route and trundled back to her flat.

It was a small and pokey room identical to a lot of other small and pokey rooms. I sighed as I dumped my board at the door and started changing for bed. I pulled on a pair of pyjama shorts and an old t-shirt before curling up under my duvet. A pot of pills rested precariously on top of a pile of books and I had a glass of water at my side. I popped two pills before closing my eyes and resting my head back on the pillow.

(Well, maybe I can think of one more thing to post before we move onto the next day.)

Ren came to his room and had something to eat before getting ready for bed. When he finished cleaning his dishes he went to the bathroom and opened the medicine cabinet. He grabbed a pill bottle labelled Phollactium, opened it, and took two tablets.

In Academy City, medicine and body stimulants were one of the methods used to help students develop their psychic abilities. Phollactium was a type of medicine that aided in enhancing powers involving the control of some form of energy; fire, electricity, light, etc. Everyone in the city had some form of medicine that they had to take. Ren never liked the idea of relying on drugs, but if the teachers said it was necessary, then who was he to argue?

The drugs always made him sleepy soon after, so after taking them he climbed into bed and settled down for the night. It took a few minutes for the side-effect to kick in, but as soon as it did he was out like a light.

Cait sighed as she locked the door behind her, sealing herself inside her apartment. It was a nice place, the only place she had really called home. Here, she was wanted, she could be independent, she could be herself...

She went into the kitchen and took down a crystal glass. She filled it halfway with lukewarm water and added a tablespoon of salt. Her throat was scratchy and hoarse after the exam and an entire afternoon of squealing and laughing with friends. She had known better than to do that anyway, but the damage was done. She wouldn't be able to sing for a couple days, at least not until her vocal chords healed.

She grimaced when she gargled the solution, spitting and re-dosing herself until the glass was empty. Afterward, she rinsed out the glass and set it to dry before taking out her tea kettle, setting it up to boil on the stove. A couple teabags would give her a nice strong tea, and then lemon juice and honey would finish the treatments for tonight.

She glanced up and saw the medicine bottles on the countertop. She scoffed, rolling her eyes. She never needed that stuff, why did a bottle always appear in her house every time she threw the last one away? She reached over and chunked it, discarding it into the trash.

(Change of plans, looks like I'm staying home this weekend.)

Ren woke up the next morning, same time as always. He gave his arms a stretch and yawned as he climbed out of bed. As he had a quick breakfast and got dressed into his school uniform, he kept thinking, Just four more days until summer starts. Not only that, but this was the last week of June. That meant on Friday his parents would be sending him his spending money for the next month. When he first moved to Academy City it was the first time he had ever lived alone. It was also this first time his parents had given him a month's worth of cash. He ended up going a little crazy and blew it all in the first three days. Man, his parents were pissed when they found out. From that point on, Ren had learned to be smart with his money.

He stepped outside and slipped his sunglasses on. As he went down the stairs he noticed he didn't see Toma on his way down, again. Maybe he was finished for the summer already? He did go to another school, after all. Maybe his school let their students off right after the exams were finished. Just another reason why keeping him in school for the rest of the week was pointless. If all the other schools were letting everyone out earlier, then what was the point? It's not like they're going to learn anything new since the exams were already finished.

Ren saw the others at the bus stop. He waved to them as he approached.

(Since our characters were all pretty much strangers at the start of the storybook, I think we should have them all in different classes. You know, for the sake of consistency.)
