Yes, we left the Hogshead. We're currently in the order hide out. I think everyone just needs to calm down and, um, get on the same page. I'm rather confused about the whole thing myself... let's just assume that Peter gave his speech over breakfast, okay?

P.S. Alex never caught an owl in the wild either. That was the whole point, really. He's always wanted one, and was never able to get one. So, I'd feel much better if you took the owl bit out of Saul's and Alex's conversation. :)

How about we just say everyone is at breakfast. (Well except Kale) Peter just gave his speech, and then whatever else happened. So pick it up at breakfast??

Tristin~~

I left Violet where she was sitting and moved over to the rest of the group, already snacking on the breakfast the order had cooked up.

I leaned in, "Where's Kale?"

Jane also leaned in, "I dont know. I've been searching for him since we got here but I can't find him. Did we leave him?"

Peter shook his head, "No, I'm sure he was here. I saw him port with us."

"Then what do we do. I'm not staying here. It's too dangerous. Who ever is leading this attack knows about the order, and he wont let them just sit here. I don't know how we can help if we're stuck back in a school controlled by Death Eaters."

*Hey guys lets just forget that whole speech crap. I made it up cause it didn't seem like we were getting anywhere at first aside from all the internal skermishes.*

Peter~

"Aye mates, it's just weird. Kale was always a little on the distant side...but I still can't see him as a death eater." Peter shook his head. "I just don't get it. It's unfair for the order to pick him out like that! And just because he's slytherin." As Peter said this he gripped the handle of his fork tighter. He'd barely touched his breakfeast. Peter sat back in his chair and stared emptily at his cold eggs.

He could take them being on their own. He could even take them escaping running from death eaters, but now that his former adrenalin was gone and that they were in the order. Peter began to feel things were hopeless.

"This all feels wrong..." Violet said. Peter said nothing.

"well...atleast we know somebody's fitting in fine." Jane said and they all nodded. Since they're being taken into the order's custody Bradley Mcauthor, and Amber seemed to fit in well. Peter, Jane, Tristen and the other's were kept outcasted, the order told them nothing. Maybe they didn't trust them. They all pretty much stuck together except for Saul who still found it hard to conform with even them. He hadn't recovered psychologically from killing those Death eaters.

Tristen sat quiet the whole time just listening. Peter guessed he must've been thinking hard because the whole time he stared into space and twiddled his thumbs. Then finally he looked up. "Guy's there's something I have to tell you."

Spoiler
Guy's lets not let this die. It's my fault we lost our pace. And I apologize I'm made made Dane, Gomen but come on! Lets keep this going!. Rider this would be great for Tristen to reveal his private conversation with Aberforth.

"I talked to Aberforth while you guys were fighting."

"And?"

I sighed, "Harry Potter was killed by the Death Eaters. His house was shielded from muggles. It only makes sense, I mean he was the head of the Aurors. Now we know they control the Aurors office, and they must have men in the Order."

Many thoughts swirled through Saul's mind. So it was all a cover up? Of course it all made sense now! The Death Eaters were trying to put the blame on the muggles. He remembered that during the time that it was confirmed that Voldemort had returned the Ministry of Magic had gone corrupt. Evil Wizards were trying to take over the muggle world.

Who was to say they weren't trying to again? God, this sounds like what Adolf Hitler and countless other dictators have tried to do. He took little comfort in knowing that they had all failed. But none of them had magic powers.

In fact it had been a wizard who was undercover as a Nazi that had helped the allies find Hitler, and it had been another wizard, a Death eater that put Hitler under the imperious curse making him kill himself. The heroic wizard who had wanted Hitler to be captured alive was hunted down by the Death Eaters and killed.

Actually all of that was just recently revealed after his body was found in an enchanted tomb. Who ever had killed him obviously didn't want the wizard to be found. And so the case of a missing wizard had become a search for answers.

It's all like one big conspiracy. And it doesn't take a genius to know that the Death eaters might, and probably will attack the muggle populace. They've done it before with the destroying of a bridge in London. Many muggles had died. Something tells me whatever they're planning now will be much, much bigger.

He shivered.

Kale-

The door to the gloomy, gray cell burst open and an oddly familiar face peered down at Kale. The sandy blond haired, green eyed boy pulled Kale into an affectionate hug then stepped back and looked at him, "Let me see you!" His older brother said.

"Chuck?" Kale asked, bewildered, "what are you doing here?"

"This is my hotel, don't you recognize it?" Chuck was still examining Kale, circling him.

"No I didn't," Kale turned as Chuck walked around him, "What are you doing?"

"It's incredible," Chuck murmured.

"What?"

"The power, all of the students here are just bursting with it. We think it's the link," Chuck pressed his fingers to his chin thoughtfully.

"The link to what?" Kale was confused.

"Nobody was supposed to get out of that castle, or any of the other schools. We put charms on them, incredibly strong charms. But something went wrong. The students that did get out have such incredibly power now. I don't think any of them even realize it. I think he wants to experiment on the muggle borns, try to extract the source somehow. Not that we'll need them anymore."

"He who?" Kale already knew the answer to that.

"You'll get to meet him soon, he's anxious to meet you Kale." Chuck looked up with excitment in his eyes, "Once he has made sure all of the schools are contained they will start the process. They'll keep only the purebloods. Luckily we managed to keep many students alive. Then the teaching will begin. Most of the teachers came over to our side easily, others needed little nudges. They'll all see, all in good time."

"What about Jane? And mum and dad?" Kale's tone grew a little higher pitched.

"Jane is safe here, she will be fine. Mum joined the cause quickly after yours and Jane's lives were threatened. Dad has been the more difficult one. We needed him to fill the Minister's postion. I've been giving him potions and such, he's done well. Soon he'll understand and we won't have to give him potions. All in good time though." Chuck pressed his hands onto Kale's shoulders and gave him a firm squeeze.

"You're drugging dad?" Kale pulled away.

Chuck's face fell only slightly, "I know you would be cross about that. He's alright though, he's starting to come around. He understands that this is all for the best. He's seen what a good job you've done, he's proud. I'm proud too."

Kale shrugged a little, unsure of how to feel. "What about the order? What will you do to them?"

"The Death Eaters don't hate the Order. They are corrupt and blinded by old ways, but they have strong pureblood fighters and very clever members. They will be shown the plan, those who do not want to be a part of it will perish with the mud bloods. It will be a shame to loose any pure bloods though." Chuck looked off into the distance, like he was thinking.

"When is all of this going to happen?"

"Don't you see? It's already happened! The schools have been taken, all the survivors have been brought here. We've taken care of the ministry and all of the officials. Soon the teaching will begin and the wizarding world will be pure. Then when we have built up our strong army it will take nothing to rid the world of muggles." He siad the word 'muggles' like he was spitting it. Chuck sounded completely insane. Kale couldn't believe how much had happened. The students in the schools had probably already been brainwashed, the muggle born most likely killed. That meant the only hope the rest of the non wizarding world had of surviving rested in the handful of students from different schools that were now being held in Chuck's hotel. And HE was coming.

*hmm, hope it's okay.*

Alex Baker
Hufflepuff

“They must have men in the Order…” That’s what Tristin had said. Alex glanced around, a sharp knife, taken from one of the kitchen drawers, held firmly in his hand. He was uneasy, and his inner survivor was telling him to get the hell out of there.

Alex leaned into the little group. Part of his mind was irritated at the amount of attention he had paid lately. Thinking attentively always lead to headaches, which was why he had avoided thinking hard for most of his life. But now, with the school invaded and no safe haven, there was no alternative.

“Well?” He asked, glancing around at the ring of faces. “What are we waiting for? We have to get out of here.” Several people exchanged nervous glances.

“The thing is,” said Tristin, slowly. “I don’t think they’ll let us. If there really are death eaters here, they won’t be too happy to let us go, will they?”

“So?” Alex said, examining his new knife. “We’ll sneak out. If we’re in London, we could-” he broke off in mid sentence. He had been going to say “go to my mother’s house,” but stopped himself at the last second. Going there would only end in disaster. His mother would be frightened of their sudden appearance, and the death eaters would probably follow them. But they would only find a poor witch smelling of laundry detergent. Alex did not like to think of what would happen next. He switched his gaze upward, to the ceiling lights.

“Well, if we’re going, I’m not leaving without Kale.” Jane said defiantly. Peter nodded.

“Of course not.” He said.

Alex, who had brightened at the mention of ‘leaving’ said, at almost exactly the same time;

“We’re going then?” He glanced expectantly around at the groups’ faces. There was a long pause before anyone answered.

"I'll be Kale's cover," Saul said.

Nobody said anything, but Jane glowered at him. Her eyes seeming to pierce his skull, as if reading his thoughts.

"It's the least I can do for your brother."

She said nothing and looked away.

"I don't think that we can simply get him. I'll create a distraction, then hold them off while you escape. Someone can get Kale, and as long as I know where we're going afterwards we shouldn't have a problem."

"You think you can hold off the members of the Order?"

"I've dueled teachers on even ground, I can do it here just as well. So where are we going?"

*How's about going into London, for a start? Then heading out into the suburbs, and, um, figuring something out from there? We could, like, I dunno.... We'd be too large a group to apperate together, wouldn't we? Or would we? C'mon, people, any ideas?*
