Phelix: (I'm jumping ahead because I'm lost. It's the night of the dance.)

I stared at my reflection in the mirror.

My eyes looked greener than usual, and my jaw was hard and strong. It seemed that my mind was pulsing. Not an ache, but with energy, the ability to imagine something with such vivid detail, that i could almost make it real.

I straitened my bow tie on my tuxedo. My hair was damp and gelled. I nodded to myself and left my room and checked my cell phone. Starlet was supposed to meat me in the library at 7:30. We'd walk over to the ball room together. The dance would start at 8:00 and end and 11:00.

I texted her. "Im ready."

(Sorry I went M.I.A for so long) Starlet~~

I stared at the black mini dress Andrew forced into my room. It lay thrown across my bed staring back at me, taunting me. Wear me. Wear me. Oh, my hate for dresses of any sort is far more than my hate for anything else in this whole world. Okay maybe that and Elmo. With my eyes closed I quickly slipped on the dress and ran to my bathroom.
The girl starring back at me in the mirror could not have been me. She didn't have highlights anymore -Envie made me wash them out for the night- and her grey eyes were lined with a thin line of eyeliner -I usually wore to much- and her hair was long and wavy - I usually wore it straight-.
"Wow," my cell buzzed in my pocket sending shivers up and down my spine. It was Phelix. I walked out of the room and down to the library. The sound of my chunks echoed through the air. I smiled, I don't care what they say, they were not getting me in heals.

Melissa

Melissa closed the door to her room. She slumped against the door. She was tired but happy that classes were over. Now, the big problem was the dance. She groaned and walked over to the closet. She picked out a white business-party suite. A straight blazer that looked made her look older but still hip and the white jacket on top. Underneath she wore a black tank-top. She always wore black and white to any event.

It's the safest colors. She put on the outfit and looked at herself in the bathroom mirror. Her outfit looked professional but still party going, it added five years to her. Her natural tan gave her a glow. She ran her fingers through her hair and smothered on some chap stick.

"All done!" She studied herself in the mirror. She cocked her head. She felt like something bad was going to happen tonight.
"Probably just nervous," she reassured herself, but then she gave herself a "Yeah right" look.
"Me nervous. Ha! That'll be the day!"
She quickly slipped on her black Converse - you never know when you need to run. She had learned this from being in several parties, mostly running from security guards for attempt assassination. She was payed by someone to do these things, but now when she thinks of it she feels anger run through her veins.
No, now you're on a clean slate, Melissa. A new start.
She shook her head and walked out of the room.

Walking down the halls, the bad feeling came back again but she pushed it to the back of her mind. Someone was walking her way. She could feel the body heat.

Sorry, it's too long  This can be anybody walking her way.

Andrew

The red that slipped across Envie's cheeks was enough to make Andrew want to laugh, but she held it in. She'd gotten two dress-hating girls into their worst enemies in one night. Envie looked amazing, though she'd belligerently refused to let Andrew do her make-up. It wasn't much of a loss. Andrew had had to agree to let Envie pick out the dress, so the girl looked like she'd stepped right out of a Tim Burton movie.

"If you don't stop grinning, I swear I'll go back in the dorm and skip this dance altogether." Envie growled.

"No you wouldn't." Andrew couldn't help but smile. "Because he's here."

=========================================================================================
Envie

Andrew had her on that point. She huffed her way down the steps, the black stilettos clacking against the wood noisily. She hated the idea of dressing up, but when she got in a dress, she couldn't help feeling, well, pretty. And with Jace showing up for the dance, she was, for once, nervous.

"Come on, or we'll be late!" Andrew said. The two headed out into the hall and came around the corner to see Melissa.

"Oh, hey. Are you heading to the dance?" Envie aked. "You can walk with us."

"Okay." Melissa fell in step with Andrew and Envie and they made their way to the ballroom.
Llama 1:"Shh! Do you hear that? That's the sound of forgiveness."
Llama 2:"That's the sound of people drowning, Carl!"
Llama 1:"That is what forgiveness sounds like; screaming and then silence."

Phelix

I got a text back saying she was on her way.

i strode our into through the hallway and fidgeted nervously. The library was not far away. It stood pretty much center between the girl and boy dorms.I extended my fingers and illusions fluttered over my hand. Scars, rings, gashes, then they disappeared. I opened my eyes right before I entered the library and the musty smell of books met my nose.

The library was empty. Mostly because of the dance, but otherwise because books weren't that popular in this school. The librarian was asleep behind the checkout desk and she was snoring quietly.

I sat down in one of the leisure reading chairs and waited.

Melissa

Envie and Andrew were walking her way. They asked if she wanted to walk with them and she agreed.

"You two look stunning, and I mean drop-dead gorgeous." Melissa tried to make them blush; and it worked. She could see the tip of Melissa's ears turning pink and Andrew blushed.

"I thought I would never see you in a dress, Envie. I thought I knew you but I guess I don't."

Envie sheepishly smiled, "Well, um, you see..."

Andrew popped her head around to face Melissa, "Jace is going to be there."

"Yeah, that." Envie looked slightly embarrassed but her eyes looked afar.

Probably thinking about Jace. Poor girl.
"Well, then I'm going to have to meet this Jace. See if he's a good enough man," Melissa gave Envie a mischievous look. Envie rolled her eyes.

"Don't you guys dare do anything to embarrass me," Envie gave Melissa and Andrew a stern look.

Melissa grinned, "We won't." Melissa winked at Andrew behind Envie's back.

"Say, do you guys know if Phelix and Starlet are going to be at the dance?" Melissa asked.

Again that feeling itched at her mind but this time it really felt like the back of her head was itching.

*Starlet*

The library wasn't that far away from the girl's dorms, only a nice little five minute walk, that's all. The sidewalks and pathways were near-empty, I only saw two or three other people, and they were running to the auidtorium. I laughed out loud, I hadn't set foot in that place since the "incident". I sighed and looked down at my hands that were currently un-covered and blue.
"Why can't I turn these things off?" The silence carried my scream on for miles and mocked me with my own voice. Suddenly I was tip-toeing dangerosly on the edge of tears. Ever since the vaccine day i've been so emotional. I mentally slapped myself in the face for being so toucy and sped up as the library came into view.
"Finially." I walked in nervosly through the doors and found Phelix almost instantly, stuck in a corner somewhere. I cleared my throat and he looked up slowly.
" Hey," he laughed," I thought I recognized those sho-" He stopped suddenly, his eyes wide and his mouth hanging open loosly,"Wow." I frowned.
" Say one thing and you'll be defrosting for days," I tugged on the bottom of my dress," this wasn't my idea anyway." He mumbled something and laughed at some un-heard joke.
"You look beautiful." I frowned and moved closer to him, my hands no more than four inches from his face.
"You can't say I didn't warn you."

Phelix

My hand brushed against her cheek and she shuddered

"Don't worry, it wasn't real," i said and she nodded. Her face grew a little rosy. "Well, let's go then. No need to mention how good I look." i smirked and began to exit the library.

"You look great," she said and smiled. We left the library and began walking to the ball room. I decided to hold her hand, though we both knew it wasn't real. It still felt real though.

"I just realized that when I'm around you, nothing has to be real," she said sadly. "You could just be behind us making an illusion of you."

"Don't worry, I'm real," i said, tracing her hand with my thumb."

We entered the ball room and immediately noted guards at all the doors. They acted normal, but we both knew why they were here. We were fairly early, Andrew and the others weren't here yet. I smiled and Starlet.

Envie

Oh, great. An audience to the reunion with Jace. It was apparent that Andrew and Melissa weren't going to let Envie have her dream meeting. And the fact that Melissa was so down-dressed made the dress Envie had on feel a hundred pound heavier and the stilettos a thousand inches higher. She then noticed that she was standing at least an inch taller than the both of them. And the make-up felt pasty. Crap, she should just go to her dorm and throw on some jeans and a t-shirt.

Melissa wasn't helping at all. The little reminders that Envie was dolled up was tempting her to just teleport back to her dorm and dress as casually as possible and show up at the dance no-make up, no shoes. Just like that. It was tempting, but Andrew would follow her and use her weird Jedi mind tricks to put her back in the heels. That girl had crazy persuasion skills. Maybe it came with the vaccine, along with her nifty element-control. Envie had seen the girl, red-eyed and playing with a ball of fire while the two of them were watching a movie.

The trio turned a corner and Envie's knees turned to pudding at the sight of the ballroom doors. Everyone was dressed-up, but Envie could already feel eyes on her. Crap. But then she saw him, standing in a tux that made him look like a sexy Vlad Dracula. He'd replaced his green streaks with blood-red. He was looking around, arms crossed over his chest.

"I'm guessing that's him." Melissa said. "Since you're staring at him so intently."

Envie shot a glare at her and started toward Jace.

Sounds creepy. :D
This storybook is dead right?
I am so ending this. :P
"Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
-John 11:25-26

I went to confront noisy neighbours, only to find the windows dark, stuck with two notes. The ghost, too, had "gone fishing". Something still whistled.
