Phelix: (I'm jumping ahead because I'm lost. It's the night of the dance.)
I stared at my reflection in the mirror.
My eyes looked greener than usual, and my jaw was hard and strong. It seemed that my mind was pulsing. Not an ache, but with energy, the ability to imagine something with such vivid detail, that i could almost make it real.
I straitened my bow tie on my tuxedo. My hair was damp and gelled. I nodded to myself and left my room and checked my cell phone. Starlet was supposed to meat me in the library at 7:30. We'd walk over to the ball room together. The dance would start at 8:00 and end and 11:00.
I texted her. "Im ready."
