I don't think anyone knows that my charater has powers, since she was only tossed in the truck because she started running and the nurses supposed that she had powers. But I'm not sure. I didn't find anything that would show the people that she had powers. But then again I'll let you guys decide. (It would be kind of cool if you guys didn't know. Well at least for me it would be cool;) so like it would be a surprise when you find out.)

The school had been in chaos lately, with all the "medicine" craziness. Fortunately, she had avoided the big crowds by changing her appearance multiple times. She was good at manipulating people that way, and often used it to her advantage. Although, she didn't really have friends, but that was because it was easier that way, to manipulate.
She now entered the lunchroom, looking like her jolly old ginger self, and sat down at a lunch table, alone. She almost always brought her own lunch, because the cafeteria food was generally barf material. Whatever. She poked around at her food, trying to figure out what she'll do next. Never had she really been a social person, and she never payed attention to the other students' chatter. She had no idea what was going on at the school.
I scanned the cafeteria repeatedly, figuring we weren't the only ones that had powers. Starlet followed my gaze and frowned at me.
"What's up?" She asked. "Dunno, just on the edge i guess. I can't stop but think that we aren't the only ones with powers." i replied. She understood immediately and checked the cafeteria for unusual students. We both looked at each other curiously when our eyes landed upon a ginger girl. She sat alone a couple tables from us. It seemed, unannounced to her, that she kept flickering. Like her image kept on changing. A man paroling the cafeteria was eying her too, and he was talking lowly into her earpiece.
"We better get her out of here." I said. Starlet nodded, and we both made our way to her.
"Alright, I'll call him! But later." Envie sighed.
"Do I have to go with you to your room to make sure you do it?" Andrew threatened.
"No! I think I can call people without any help, thanks." Envie glanced around the cafteria. She turned back to the table when Phelix and Starlet got up. "Hey, where are you guys going?" She turned to Andrew, who merely shrugged. Both of them got up at the same time and followed the other two over to a ginger girl who was sitting by herself.

Oh, sorry! I edited it. I think Amber can post off of it, but then again we haven't heard from the others, yet.

"Yeah..." She looked across the table at the girl, wondering why she decided to sit with her. Alexis glanced out of the corner of her eye, and saw others coming towards her. She stood up and planted her hands on the table, acting like it was an accident that she touched the other girl's hand.
"Do me a favor. Those kids that are following you, are about to come over here. Walk over to them and distract them. Please." Alexis looked at the girl and waited for her response. After a moment of hesitation, the girl stood up.
"Alright." She headed off towards them, and stopped dead in front of them. Alexis walked away from the table, quickly heading out of the room. Was someone following her? She quickly ducked into a room, and changed form to the girl that sat with her at the table.
A man walked in after her, looking confused. "Umm... Did a red haired girl just walk in here?" He asked.
"Nope, check the next room." She nodded towards the door as he thanked her and left. What the heck was that?
"Wow. That was brilliant," Melissa bit into an apple, one hand on her hip. She stared at the girl who changed her appearance into Envie. "I-I umm...," the girl stammered, shocked. "Yeah, don't worry about it. Some other kids have weirdo powers too," she took another bite of her apple. She had "borrowed" the principle's car and drove over to the nearest place with food -which was the supermarket- and bought some canned soup. She used the employees microwave to warm it up, then promptly came back right before lunch ended. "Others have powers too?" Alexis asked, she had thought of it already but wasn't really sure. "Yup. Now listen, I don't think that peahead of a brain guard believed you so why don't walk with me? Want to?" Melissa smiled at the girl.

**I couldn't figure out anything to post, but I've got something now. Oh, and I'm taking over Andrew for irishfire.** Envie
After the bell rang that lunch was over, Envie headed for the stairs, heading for the dorms instead of her next class. She kept an eye out for Andrew, knowing the girl would want to witness this.
Sneaking up to her room, Envie sat on the bed and took out her phone. Her chest began to tighten as she stared at the screen. I can't do this. She thought, letting her hand fall into her lap. She struggled with herself until she finally had to mentally slap herself. She could and would do this. She hadn't done anything wrong... except not call for a year. Crap.
With a sigh, forcibly keeping her morale up, she scrolled through her contacts until she found it. She hit send and prayed it would either be out of service or go straight to voicemail. She could apologize to an automated machine easier than him, right now.
"Hello?" The voice on the other end of the line made her heart skip a beat.
She needed to say something. "Um, hi. Jace?"
"Envie? Is that you? I can't believe you still have my number." He sounded surprised. "How are you?"
Envie took a deep breath. Of course he was surprised. They had zero contact for too long. "I'm good. Well, as good as I can be."
"With a dad like yours, I have no doubts."
Envie smiled. "Yeah, after that whole fiasco guess what happened?"
"He locked you in a tower and he comes up to visit by climbing your hair?"
Envie actually laughed at that. God, she missed him. "Actually, he sent me to a boarding school for disturbed kids."
"What?" Jace's scowl could be heard over the phone.
"It wasn't really without cause. He could have sent me to jail if he hadn't cared about his social image so much."
"What did you do?"
Envie bit her lip, not sure how Jace would take her attempted murder. She didn't regret it; well, the attempt she didn't regret. She regretted it not working. With another deep breath she put her forhead into her palm. "I tried to poison him."
Silence. Utter silence. Great, she'd blown it. She was preparing herself for his 'never speaking to her again', when a laugh came through the phone. "Damn, I knew I loved you for a reason!"
Envie brought the phone from her ear to stare at it incredulously. She put the phone back to her ear. "What?"
"I was hoping you'd do something about it. I never would have believed it if you hadn't tried to off him." Jace was having to take deep breaths between laughs.
"So you're okay with loving an attepted murderer?" Envie asked, still bewildered by the response.
"Oh, yes. Not problem for me at all, considering the circumstances." He paused. "Oh, and Happy Valentine's Day."
Envie smiled. "I was going to ask you. Think you can make it for the Valentine's Dance tonight?"
"Disturbed schools have dances?"
"Believe it or not. Think you can make it?" Envie closed her eyes and crossed her fingers hopefully.
"It's kind of short notice, but I think I can pull it off. What school is it?"
Envie grinned in triumph. "It's the one down the way from the science labs."
"I'll be there."
They said their goodbyes and Envie hung up. She stood up, hugged the phone to her chest, and had a way too girly moment of hopping up and down and squealing.
Someone cleared their throat in the doorway and Envie stopped cold.
**Sorry it's so long... **
