Juliana - -

"So you're one of them too?" I asked, as I tried not to boggle my eyes out at his not there anymore legs.
"Yeah." He finally said after a long stretch of silence.
"What's your power?" I asked.
"Hmm. Well, lets see.." He began to say, and then suddenly disappeared..like that.
Into thin air.
"Hello?" I said my voice slightly shaky.
"Hi." I heard a voice say behind me, I turned around and found him standing there, a grin on his face.
I stumbled back almost falling, but Mr. Invisible caught me by the arms and pulled me up.
"T-thanks." I still said a bit shaky.
"Invisibility huh?" I asked.
"Yep. How about you?" He said.
I gave him a mischievous smile, and then lifted my hands up, and suddenly the rain stopped and the sun came out.
"You control weather?" He asked.
"And water, sometimes." I replied.
"Cool. I'm Mike." He said holding out this hand.
I grabbed it, and shook it, "Juliana."

AquaMarine, it could be Xanthe that Rae bumps into. She's not actually physically in Seattle but it could be that other people with powers can see her when she's, er... astrally projecting? Projecting astrally? Whatever. If you want to.

Steven, Water Control, Seattle

Ever since he'd discovered his water-controlling abilities, Steven had been a little disappointed that no one seemed to share anything like them. Not that he'd ever asked, he'd just never seen someone exhibiting the slightest sign that they were, like him, powered.

He rounded a corner, hands thrust into his pockets as he dragged his feet, and then looked up, sensing that something wasn't quite right on this stretch of road. One girl was standing there, looking somewhat lost. And also looking somewhat...transparent, as though she wasn't actually there at all. People were just walking straight through her, in fact, not even noticing her. Is she a ghost? Steven thought, alarmed at the possibility that he'd developed another ability, No...she's probably just like me...

He started walking towards her, intending to ask who she was, what she was doing. Then another girl, walking the same stretch of pathway, didn't seem to notice the girl until the last minute, walking straight into her, actually bumping hard into her, unlike any of the other people, and tripping over, landing on her side. A few people gave her odd looks, the girl she'd bumped into among them. Though Steven had a feeling that she was more shocked that the girl had bumped into her at all.

Deciding that someone had to cover up the girl's fall before people started remarking on the strangeness of her bouncing off thin air, Steven bent over her. "Jesus, girl," he said, "You weren't even looking!" Then, under his breath, "Don't worry, you're not the only one who can see her. But we'd better get away from here, since apparently people are looking for people like us."

He looked over his shoulder at the wispy figure of the other girl, although apparently addressing the one who'd 'tripped', "You'd better follow me, I reckon."

Ben, Telepathy, Reno

Driving from street to street in separate cars, both Ben and his partner searched for the street where their target lived. About fifteen minutes before his partner finally found it, Ben's phone started ringing. It was, of course, his employer, wondering why he hadn't brought the girl in just yet.

"We're just finding her now, sir..." He said somewhat absently, checking another street sign to see if he could find her. Again, no luck.

When his partner called, that made things much easier for Ben. Now he could just lock on to the man's mental signature and drive. Soon, the two were standing next to his car, just across the street from Ember's house.

"So that's it?" Ben asked.

His partner nodded, "Yeah, down to every last detail. I checked things out, could hear the parents fighting. Fits the address as well. Although I didn't see her inside. What d'you think?"

Ben scratched his head, looking up at the house, "I reckon we just wait for a bit, see if she's around. Either way, we don't try just yet. Wait until dark, and then I'll take over things."

Haleigh, telekinesis;

"I'm from Crescent City, actually," I said, pointing off in the direction of my home town. His eyes furrowed together. It was clearly a look of deep thought.

"You haven't made it far then," Jake said softly. I stared at him, and put my hand on my hip.

"Yeah, I know," I said.

"That means they could be close to discovering us both," he said thoughtfully.

"Well, the only you people looking as of right now will probably be the cops. It's not like they're that big of a problem," I said.

"You mean noone else is following you?" He asked.

"No," I said, "But who else would be?"

Rae Hawkins - Seattle - Weather Control

"You'd better follow me, I reckon."
Rae looked at the blonde guy in front of me and back at the ghost girl; from what she'd read up in the local library about supernatural powers, Rae guessed she might be astral projecting.
She turned her head again and laughed in the guy's face.

"So what, the government got teenagers to help them now? That's low."

At this, he looked bewildered; the girl, who had drifted closer, also looked confused.
Another idea crept into Rae's head.

What if these people weren't from the government. What if it wasn't a trick. What if she had just found two people who were like her?

On impulse, Rae sprung up and gripped the guy's hand; she would go with them and she'd find out if they were like her.

Anyway, if they were from the government she could always kill them

Joan-Seattle

She shook her head. She couldn’t kill. Not again. That life was behind her. It was a warm enough day that the ice would melt soon, thus letting him run free. She turned around and ran. Leaving Ken there, in the alley, to wait. She walked down a long road, it never really seemed to end, until finally there was a corner. She turned the corner, then her jaw dropped a few inches.
“Holly Fish…”
There stood a few people, but one of them wasn’t a person. One was transparent. She couldn’t help but stare. Was this transparent… girl… it looked like, really like her? She couldn’t help but take a few steps closer. Then she found herself walking up to them, they were slightly taller then her. She looked up at the ghost.
“Are you like me miss?”
She felt stupid for asking the question, but it was to late now, she could only go with it. The woman seemed surprised, and lacked words. Joan figured that she had jumped into the middle of something. The woman was silent. Joan had no idea if she would get a reply. It was a ghost standing there. A few light flakes of snow dropped behind her out of the amazing curiosity she had. She turned around when she noticed it and tried desperately to stop it, but with no luck, she only ended up making the flakes larger, and fall more quickly. She turned around, and smiled, as if she hadn’t noticed the snow. She couldn’t help but blush.
All I can hear; "I me mine, I me mine, I me mine". Even those tears; "I me mine, I me mine, I me mine". No one's frightened of playing it. Everyone's saying it. Flowing more freely than wine. All through your life; "I me mine".

Xanthe

"Are you like me, miss?"

Xanthe stared at the people around her. She was terrified: they could see her. They could see her, and nobody was supposed to be able to do that. What did that mean? Could it be that she wasn't invisible at all, when her mind flew to a different place and she was somewhere else? Were people laughing at her, thinking how stupid she was to assume they couldn't see her? Was she imagining things? Was - she stopped. What if these people were different from everyone else?

Different from everyone else. Different from everyone else - well, that was her, wasn't it? So did that make them... Like her? In what way? She looked behind the girl before her - a little younger than her, and yet with an air of confidence which seemed to suggest a complicated background - and found her answer in the snow swirling around her head. Different, because they had powers. Like her, because they could do things normal people would dismiss as pure fantasy. So... yes. She was like the girl.

"I - yes. I think so." Xanthe tried to smile at her but felt her bewilderment grow as she looked again at the girl she had run into and the boy who had appeared. Why was she here? Who were they, and why were they here? Even if they were like her, did that mean she could trust them?

She realised they were staring at her, and looked down to see her body as it always was when she projected, half transparent. Ghostly, almost. If she could see that, they probably could as well. "I don't usually look like this," she tried to explain, "I'm - I'm not really here. It's hard to explain." She smiled nervously. "I'm slowing down time in New York where I'm standing on the street. I'm on the way back from school."

Jake

No, hunters?" I asked her. She seemed confident that no one would follow her. I was pretty sure most of the cops wouldn't know about us, unless her parents had reported her missing or something...
"Hunters? Are you serious?" she asked sarcastically. "We're not in some fantasy story Jake, no one knows about out powers except us."
"You sure?"

Haleigh, telekinesis,

Jake was talking about hunters and all this stuff that I honestly had no clue about.

"I mean, I guess there's a chance there are people hunting us," I said. He nodded. We were both silent.

"What do you think we should do?" he asked. All I knew was that I wanted to stay with him. It was nice to have some company, and he seemed to have a good sense of humor.

"I say we find others, like ourselves, and find out if those 'bad people' really do exsist," I said.

Jake

I nodded. I knew the bad people did exist, but somehow, I almost felt as if she didn't believe me. We continued on walking through the trees. "So...why did you leave home?" I asked her. She turned her blue eyes away from me and I knew I had touched a sensitive spot.
