Dalia/ Mistique

I saw the look they exchanged, and I knew something was up.

"Whoa, my head," Falconstrike mumbled before falling. I was alarmed at first but I saw a hint of a smirk on her face, and narrowed my eyes.

I heard shuffling behind me. I turned to see Mynah limping away.

"Hey!" I shouted. Several others turned to look.

I watched him duck beneath the bushes. I watched him crouch there for a while, waiting. I motioned for people to follow me.

"Falconstrike, we have to get you to a doctor!" I said over my shoulder as we crept closer to the bush.

I heard Mynah chuckle.

"Hurry, grab her head carefully," Electrum said, pretending to grunt under Falconstrike's imaginery weight.

"Suckers," he whispered.

We stayed quiet for a minute. He eventually leapt out of the bush. I immdeiately jumped and tackled him to the ground.

"It's over Mynah!" I growled, my face an inch from his. "Give up!"

He was about to speak when I felt myself lifted off the ground by a strong gust of air.

Metal Canary/Laina

Laina growled lowly in her throat, her scarlet eyes gleaming. What? Was he waiting for her to make a move? Well then, as they always say. Ladies first.

With a malicious smirk, Laina scraped her metal claws against the blacktop beneath her, a groal still rumbling in her chest. She threw herself at the wolf with a cat-like hiss, her sharp feline teeth digging into the wolf's flesh. It let out a yelp and she grinned, forcing him into the ground below her. One swift bite to the neck and he'd be over with. Something sent her side in a fury of pain, causing her to yowl and pain and twist away.

"What the-" she glared the wolf's back paws that were drenched in blood. He must have made it through the protective plates on her stomach. She growled lowly, her head lowering and eyes setting into a glare.

*all I got Aqua! Sorry, I've been uber busy. Okay, so just to clarify, some parts of Metal Canary is full out robot-like, but tender areas like the throat and stomach are real just with protective plate coverings... if that makes any sense. She's like a cyborg in other terms I guess*

Electrum gritted her teeth and ignored the blood that was pouring down her arm. She also tried her best to ignore the fact that that same arm was stinging, a lot. She saw Mistique on top of Mynah, holding him down. Then there was a gust of wind and she was thrown off of Mynah, and into the air. Mynah climbed to his feet and seemed intent on running. I don't think so. Electrum thought.

She leapt at him, again knocking him to the ground. Her arm hurt so much that she wanted to scream. Though she tried to control herself, she let out an involuntary groan and tears sprang to her eyes.
Just another quack spouting psychobabble.

Mynah/Nick

Mynah backed through the bushes, but there was a cast-iron fence behind them. With a scowl, he realized that it was only a matter of time before they caught up to him. His best bet right now was to wait it out, keep very quiet and still, and look for a chance to sneak away.

He heard the noise of the others as they apparently moved Falconstrike past the bush. Panic rose up in his chest. What if they saw him? The bushes weren't that thick anyways.

Making a split-second decision, he jumped out of the bush... and was immediately tackled to the ground by Mistique. She leaned over him, eyes glinting with anger. "It's over Mynah! Give up!"

He opened his mouth to scream, or talk, or do something that would help him out of there, but suddenly the girl was lifted off of him with a gust of air. Falconstrike, he thought, limping off.

And then, for the third (or was it the fourth?) time that night, the villain found himself pinned to the ground underneath someone else.

He recognized the girl as Electrum. Her arm was bleeding and she seemed to have trouble moving it without pain. A thought struck him, and he punched her in the injured arm.

Unfortunately, this plan backfired. Electrum let out a cry of pain and fell on him, clutching her injury, as electricity coursed through her body involuntarily.

Mynah's eyes rolled up in his head as he began twitching, the shock was so severe. It wasn't long before he blacked out.

Cara/Death

The moments passed in a muddled blur. Falconstrike appearing, helping Mynah up, letting him get away, then falling, falling... and smiling. Who was she? And who was Mynah? He was getting away, but then Mistique, then Electrum...

Death's head span round and she wished she could feel the pain in her thumb. There was something about pain that she could hold onto, steady herself. Feeling dizzy, she staggered backwards, breaking into a jog, breaking into a run, sprinting away from Falconstrike. The other heroes never turned around. Behind her, she heard Electrum cry out, but felt nothing. Nothing but dizziness and tears.

She'd run without direction, but it was routine that brought her back to the warehouse. She stumbled inside and collapsed into her armchair, but the sobs and screams never came. Instead she stared blankly at the maps on the wall. Was this Death? It couldn't be. Death had never had a sister named Rose. This was Cara, and so Death tore off her balaclava, letting her mousey locks fall across her face. And it was only then that she began to cry.

Kara/Electrum

Electrum screamed when Mynah punched her arm. She fell on top of him, and her uninjured hand instinctivly clutched her arm. She completely lost control of her power, sending electricity zig-zagging across her body, and into Mynah's. She felt him twitching and jerking underneath her. Then she lost consciousness.

Falconstrike

She rolled onto her side, seeing that the plan had failed. Her head swam and her vision blurred; the fake fall seemed to only rattle her brains more. She looked up with heavily lidded eyes, blinking slowly.

"That was a little mean," she said, getting to her feet unsteadily.

"What the hell do you think you're doing, helping him?" she heard someone demand.

Java/Flux

I leapt on top of her, biting down on the soft flesh I now knew was hidden beneath the armour. The she-wolf whimpered, then rolled over and pinned me down; biting hard and giving as good as she got.
I needed some help. We were pretty much equal in wolf form - but if she decided to change into something big I might be in trouble.
Nipping out from under her, I ran over to one of the supers who was standing nearby.
"Stop being useless, and help me!" I wheezed. "Equal fights do me no good."
Without looking back, I threw myself back into the fray.

Dalia/ Mistique

I was furious, even though I had landed safely. I marched over to Falconstrike.

"What the hell do you think you're doing, helping him?" I screamed.

Falconstrike focused her gaze on me. Her eys narrowed angrily. "We are heroes; we aren't here to destroy our enemies or make them suffer. We could've arrested him without tackling him, stabbing him, or hurting him!"

I thought of some kind of comeback but couldn't think of one. Damn, she was right.

"We can't just let him go though!" I said.

"It's better than bullying him and picking on him when he's trying to retreat," she responded, crossing her arms.

I mimicked her. Two could play at that game.

Metal Canary/Laina

Laina couldn't help but smirk as she dodged the wolf's attack. Her paws hit the cement, quickly followed by her back paws, and she launched herself, now in lynx form, into the air, landing on a window sill of the nearby apartment. "Now what's wrong Wolfy?" She smiled maliciously. "Are your so called friends too chicken to help you?"

"The name's Flux!" The wolf growled loudly and Laina let out a laugh.

"And I'm Metal Canary. There, we're formally introduced. Now if I may," she threw herself off the window sill, hurling towards 'Flux'.

Where the hell is everyone?
"Now if I may..."
I felt myself slam into the ground painfully, my shoulder blade crushing into the tarmac alarmingly. I yelped and scrabbled against her hard body, trying to find the gap in her plates again.
"Oh no you don't." She snickered, pinning me to the ground with an evil glint in her eye.
Then, very carefully she lowered her head and bit down on my leg. Hard.
I howled loudly, then began bucking and writhing in a frenzy, trying to throw her off.
Eventually, my claws slid beneath the metal and I began to rake at her side, digging in my claws deeply. She growled in fustration and pain; so, taking hold of the moment I rolled once more and threw her off.
We both backed away, licking our wounds again and trying to get our breath back. Then, as quick as possible I ran forward and barrelled into her side.

**By the way, I'm going to London for the weekend (yay!) so I won't be here until tomorrow evening I think. So, could you just carry me along?**

**Hey guys, Electrum is still passed out on Mynah, so she can't really do much at the moment. So, if anybody wouldn't mind, I'd like to be able to play her again...**

((The people having fights need to hurry it up a bit so we can get everyone posting again. We're also waiting for Moo to post, I think, regarding the whole Falconstrike-helping-Maynah thing.))

**Yeah... Mynah's still passed out, so I can't do anything at the moment. I might wake him up in a bit, but I am waiting for Moo.**
