"Oh, well in that case, thank you." Brooklyn smiled softly, her eyes downcast. "But what if one day, I'm ready?" She asked, her voice almost inaudible.

"What?" Jayke asked incredulously.

"What if one day, in the future, I'm ready? What if one day I want you to be my first and we're not married or something?" She didn't know what she was saying. "Never mind," she sighed, shaking her head. "Forget I said anything." She rested her head on his shoulder again, still looking down and her fingers.

Jayke tilted her head up. "Then you tell me. Until then, I'm going to be telling you to stop." He replied as he looked at her.

Brooklyn nodded lightly and smiled up at him. "Thank you." She smiled and kissed his lips gently, smiling lopsidedly as she pulled away.

Brooklyn threw her head back and laughed loudly, wrapping her arm around Jayke's neck. "You're a dork." She smiled.

"What's with all the insults lately?" Jayke teased, causing Brooklyn to giggle softly.

"It's because I love you so much." Brooklyn giggled, laying her head back down on Jayke's shoulder.

Jayke rested his head on her head her smell filling his nose. He loved her smell, everything about her. he picked her up gently and carried her up to her room laying her down. She started to stir so he laid next to her holding her close.

Around an hour later Brooklyn opened her eyes, her eye's instantly meeting Jayke's sleeping face. She smiled and wiggled her way out of his arms, looking at the clock next to her bed. It was six, about dinner time. A sudden idea crossed her mind and she smiled brighter, changing into some fresh clothing and jogging downstairs into the kitchen. She got some ingredients together and started cooking, swinging her hips to the radio that played from the living room.

Jayke woke up to the smell of food and the sound of music. He groaned and walked down the stairs and saw Brooklyn cooking her hips swaying to and fro. He bit his lip at the thoughts that flew into his head. STOP He growled at himself before walking over and wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Smells good." He said. She jumped a tad and then smiled.

"Good." She replied wiggling free to move to the fridge.

*Sorry for taking so long I had to take a quick shower*

Brooklyn smiled crookedly over at Jayke and pulled some lettuce out of the refrigerator, along with some mayonnaise and vinegar. "You don't get any," she smiled playfully and took out a measuring cup. She washed the lettuce and ripped it up neatly, setting it all in a bowl. She stirred the vinegar, mayonnaise, and a bit of sugar in the measuring cup, adding a few more condiments to the home-made dressing.

"I don't? That's not very fair." Jayke smiled resting his elbows on the counter as he watched Brooklyn, who stuck her tongue out at him playfully.

"All's fair in love and war." She smiled, checking on the chicken that was roasting in the oven.

"But love triumphs war." He smiled. "You can't not feed me." He said putting on his best puppy face.

Brooklyn sighed, pretending to think. "Well, I did cook too much food for a single person, so I guess you can eat with me." She acted like she was upset and sighed. "And I was looking forward to a boring dinner."

"Too bad," Jayke teased and wrapped her in a hug. Brooklyn giggled and hugged him back, the oven suddenly dinging.

"Go sit down!" She hissed playfully and shooed him out of the kitchen. When he was gone she reset the oven, took the chicken out, and put in the two small, melted chocolate filled cakes that still needed to be cooked. Katherine laid some of the chicken on one plate, putting some more on another plate, and drizzled the sauce for it over the chicken before pulling some roasted vegatables on the plate beside it. She poured some dressing on two bowls with salad in them and reached to get to wine glasses out of her parent's cabinet.

With a smile, Brooklyn opened the alcohol cabinet, taking out a non-alcoholic wine bottle and pouring some in both cups. She smiled in triumph and balanced the plated on her arms, holding a wine glass in each hand, and walked out to the kitchen. Brooklyn laid two glasses of wine in front of both her and Jayke's seat, doing the same with the food. She flipped the light off in the dining room, lit two candles, set them in between her and Jayke, and ran over to the radio, switching it onto some soft jazz, and walked back over, smiling and sitting down finally. "So?" She smiled brightly, smoothing her hair down.

**That's just the thing. There isn't one haha!**

Brooklyn shrugged and smiled brightly. "No occasion. Just thought I'd do something for my boyfriend." She smiled, pushing some hair behind her ear. "It's not to extravagant is it? It was either this or me order pizza, and I thought that wasn't as... special? Yeah, special!" She laughed softly, her brow furrowed.

"No, it's perfect Brooke, really." She relaxed and smiled softly.

"Well that's a relief." She smiled and took a bite of salad. She watched Jayke take a bite and chew thoughtfully. "Does it taste okay?" She didn't know why she was so worried about it, but she just was.
