Adam

"No we haven't a girl" I said sitting back down by the fire.

"are you sure she has a very fancy dress on" The man said and I had an idea.

"a dress posh you say, oh wait we have seen her, a few miles back we took her to an inn" I said as Aliya was about to speak I gave her a slight nudge to keep her quiet.

"an inn that's weird but were is it I must find her" The man said lowering his sword slightly.

"well its very much out of my way, you see we are heading towards the capitol but she i out towards the deeper forest plus the inn is very hard to find so I wouldn't be able to give you directions" I said and the man looked worried he resembled someone I thought I knew.

"I could pay you both" He said an I smiled.

"very good, will you wait over their while I remember were the inn is with my friend" I said with a smile and the man put his sword away. I turned to Aliya.

"What the hell are you on about we don't were she is we didn't take her to any inn" Aliya said in a ergent whisper.

"Look I tell your new out in the real world, no offence ,this guy seems very straight an narrow to me so we take his money we take him to any old inn and then we send him off looking for his girl and we get the money" I said with a beaming smile.

"I'm not a theif" Aliya whispered.

"but your a socceror thats close enough" I said and walked over to The man.

"what dose that mean" Aliya said but I hushed her down.

" Adam and this lovely lady is Aliya" I said and shook his hand he seamed unimpressed.

"Yours" I asked him politly.

Really? You didn't see it arya? It's up there in between phantom of the potter and Lauren2010. I'll try it again:

Name: Demeter Asana

Age: 19

Station: Outcast. She was caught stealing by a group of guards, for which the punnishment is usually death, but at the time, she was under 18 so she was let off with an exile instead.

Appearance: http://peachysticks.deviantart.com/art/ ... 1-17335110 Only, she has green eyes, not blue, and her dress looks like this: http://chrisbronze.deviantart.com/art/E ... s-19740716 Same colors; black and white. She doesn't wear shoes

Personality: Demeter is very flirty, but she's smart and clever. She's quick witted and is very good at getting herself out of a tight spot. She's friendly, fun, and lively. She lives life to the fullest, and is a good and loyal friend. She'd do anything to take down Kenzel and get her revenge on him.

History: Demeter was left to fend for herself at 15 when her parents died of natural causes. She had to steal to feed herself and was finally caught for it at 17. As she was not old enough to meet the death penalty, she was thrown out of the town, and she vowed to get her revenge on Kenzel. She's been wandering fields near the town, but making sure to keep a good distance away.

Magical Item: A choker given to her by her mother that holds untold power. It's black silk with a black diamond pendant.

Other: Up for love

:) And also, you can call me Rayne ;)

Thanks!

Jarin

"My name is," he hesitated for a moment, "Jakkin Paddock." Jarin settled with the name of one of his old comrades. Jakkin was a funny guy, always trying to crack jokes at the wrong moment. He was sure that Jakkin wouldn't mind if he borrowed his name for a while.

Jarin looked down on the man, watching him closely. He seemed a bit beat up at points, probably wanting more money than he would deserve. He had said that they had took Ebba to the inn, but there was a chance that that might not indeed have happened. Ebba had only left an hour ago and they would have most likely have been in this forest for about an hour. It was most probably that it indeed was a lie.

"How long ago did you take her to the inn?" Jarin couldn't help peer at the man in the eyes, jaw clenched. He did not like this 'Adam'. He certainly didn't trust him.

"About a--" A pause. "About a two hours ago, good sir."

"Then your business won't be needed then." Scum. Trying to trick him out of his money he was. Jarin had to resist the temptation in taking out his sword and slashing the man down right there. It would free the world of this rotten man's existence, but surely that would not do so good with his own problems at this moment. "I do not tolerate liars."

Aliya

I knew this was a bad idea.

"Excuse us for a moment." she said. Aliya pulled Adam off to the side. "I don't belive this, Jakkin, is telling the truth. Follow my lead." she whispered.

"What are you going to do?" he asked.

"I'm going to cast a spell to reveal lies." she explained.

"That can't be possible."

Aliya smiled slyly. "Yes, but let's hope he doesn't know that."

Adam nodded. Althogh, he seemed a little skeptical.

Aliya bent down and scooped up a pile of ashes in her hands. She approached Jakkin and blew the dust in his face.

Jakkin frantically brushed the black dust from his face. "What was that for?" he yelled.

"You lie too, sir." Aliya demanded.

"I do not!" he yelled. "How dare you accuse me of such!"

"I am a sorceress." she said. "The ashes I just blew at you were used in a spell, a spell that exposes lies."

"Is this true?" Jakkin demanded of Adam.

"As true as I am standing her in front of you." he said.

Thank you Adam!

Jakkin's shoulders fell in defeat. "I admit, I lie." he confessed.

"Then who are you really?" Adam asked.

"My name is Jarin." he admitted.

Jarin

"My name is Jarin." He said in nearly a whisper. The words had escaped him as esily as they had come to mind. Usually he would bend the truth, making them into lies unnoticed like the rumoured Fae do, but something compelled him no to. It turned out it was actually the desire to awknowledge who he really was, and from forth to have others. It was a feeling he had seemed to miss in that last while and he did not understand hoe much he had wished for other companions in his trouble.

Adam looked at Aliya in mock surprise. "Well, that didn't work. I believe he is still lying."

Jarin looked at the man in nearly disgust. "First you acuse me of lying, and when I tell you that I was lying and tell the truth, you claim I am lying again?"

"But that can't be possible! Jarin, the one who murdered the whole Royal Family, uis someone like you?" Adam seemed to find this enjoyable, almost enough to laugh.

"Adam, I believe he actually is this Jarin." Aliya looked over at him in surprise.

"What do you know? You practically haven't been outside for a couple hours."

"Well, that was enough time to see the wanted posters!"

"There is wanted posters?" Jarin asked in disbelief. He thought that Kenzel wished for the people to think tha he was dead. He had been called another unknown person's name plenty of times when they saw him, but never did they call him his real name. How exactly did these people know from the allais' on the wanted posters that he was indeed Jarin?

Aliya looked at him, and perked her eyebrow slightly. She just nodded lightly and took a seat by the fire once more. Adam, who eyed him once more in disbelief sat down on the other side.

"You don't plan on doing anything? Calling the authorities? I have a heavy ransom on my head you know." Jarin watched them suspiciously. He did not understand them. At the word 'ransom' something glittered in Adam's eyes, but other then that they showed no sign's in getting up again.

Adam

My heart skipped a beat as Jarin said the word Ransom. I sat and stared into the fire for a long second before getting up.

"How much ransom are we talking here?" I asked with a sly smile but before Jarin could answer Aliya hit me on the arm and pulled me down to my knees.

"are you joking, this guy is an ex royal guard, ex head of the royal guard you know how good they are with fighting
and that, so just leave it." Aliya said and I reluctantly settled back down.

"I really have to find the girl" Jarin said taking out his sword and I moved my ankle slightly so that I could roll up from the ground and dodge his attack if he chose to attack.

**Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I haven't been quite sure of what to write.**

Acenon

He nodded slowly. So Jarin was here, and moreover, was alive. Well, he had reasoned up until now that maybe there was a good reason for the destruction of the royal family, but no longer. If Jarin was protecting Ebba, he would do the same. He laid the hand bearing his family’s gauntlet over his heart, then said, “I, Acenon, second son of House Ciris, pledge my life to protecting that of the remaining royal family.”

It was a formal pledge, and therefore no small matter for him. As the middle child of his family, the code of honour had been drilled most strongly into him, and he took such an oath very seriously.

Acenon moved his hand away from his chest again, not feeling remotely awkward, as his brother no doubt would have. Instead, he simply looked from the princess to the other girl and then back again. "Where are you and Jarin headed?" He asked, "To one of the other nations? Because they're still a long way..."

**Sorry, sorry, sorry!!! I haven't posted at all (After the profile) I didn't have time. I was having tests last week. I'm sorry!!!!

Revelon Oracio:
He growled in anger on top of his horse. "Why are we in this forest again, Nasaug?"
Nasaug looked at Revelon from the carriage "Because our lord commands so. We are to find Jarin the murderer."
"Can I tell you where he can stick his commands," Revelon snapped.
"Come now, Revelon, you don't want our lord to kill you?"
"He can try. That'll give me a good chance to kill that uprising bastard. I liked the old king better,"
"He is dead," Nasaug said with an even voice, "And so is his only daughter and wife."
"I know, I know... I also know Jarin. And like hell he would have killed the royal family. Loved them, like his own family. This smells."
Nasaug sighed, "Just find him."
Revelon turned away from the path into the forest, "Just find him," he mimicked.

He continued for a while until he heard a sound. He turned and jumped off his horse.
He heard talking. He creeped closer.
Jarin! He was there. With some other people Revelon didn't know.
He smiled and stood up.
"Jarin!" he said as he walkked into the small camp. The three people bolted up.
"Revelon!" Jarin pulled his weapon.
Revelon stared at it. "Come on Jarin, I don't want to fight you. Just come with me."
"How can you say that Revelon. You were always loyal to the royal family."
"No I was loyal to the man who could give me more power, the king that is. But he is dead, like his blood relations."
"So you follow this new man,"
"No I'm waiting to cut his throat the very second I can, but to do that I need more power, I need to get close to him."
"Why?" Jarin asked.
"Well "our lord" has been taking privileges away from other lords such as myself... And that can't do."
"Why not join me?"
Revelon laughed "In open revolution? That would be suicide. We don't have anything to get the people on our side."
Jarin smiled "What if we had just the thing?"
Revelon looked puzzled "What do you have Jarin?"
Jarin tossed Revelon the royal seal. "The princess."

**Thanks for posting, Billy... What you wrote was fine...**

Ebba

Ebba swallowed. The weight of Acenon's pledge hung on her shoulders. "We tried to leave..." she said. "But Kenzel has the borders closely watched. In all essence, we are trapped here."

"Princess," said Acenon slowly. "You do know that Kenzel's guard is entering the forest as we speak?"

Ebba paled. "Jarin said something... But I didn't think it would be so soon!"

Ebba glanced at Eden, who was staring at Ebba open-mouthed. "You're the princess?" she whispered.

"I suppose so..." Ebba muttered. "But, listen, Eden, I've got to - We've got to - "

"Find Jarin?" supplied Acenon. Ebba flashed him a grateful glance.

"Exactly."

Aliya

Aliya stood up and walked towards Jarin and Revelon. "Someone needs to explain everything to me right now."

Adam stood and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Aliya, let the good men hash this out themselves." he said. He then whispered in her ear, "we may be able to swipe something off the guy and get out clean. We wouldn't have to deal with these two or royal issues at all."

Aliya pushed him away. She was a morally just person and she would rather throw herself into an ocean of scalding water than be left out of this adventure. Besides, it was about time she had some excitement in her life.

"So?" she said to the men. She crossed her arms as she waited for an explination.

Adam

Great I thought as Aliya shrugged me off. I was being dragged into yet another adventure. After all she had saved me Now I had to save her. I wasn't a very loyal man but I hated feeling dept to people. Not that I minded being in money dept but that was me.

"Aliya, trust me you don't want to get into royal business they think they know everything and are the big heroes but really only the dull farmers and peasants care who killed the king and queen" I said I talked in a normal voice and I could see Jarin shuffling slightly as if to say I'm right here.

"Don't care Adam This seems a lot more rewarding moraley. and probably has more money involved in it" Aliya said and we both looked at Jarin who shook his head.

"Fine, I owe you after you saved my arse, you know I'm starting to wish you had let them hang me" I said and stood next to her.

"they were gonna hang you, what did you do?" Aliya asked.

"It's a long story involving a a princess a dragon and a lot of angry knights, I might tell you it one day" I said and Jarin huffed a little bit showing that he wanted to tell his story.

"Kenzle betraided the royal family and killed them all except Ebba who I maneged to escape with, Kenzle had launched a search for me because he says I did it but really its because he knows Ebba will be with me" Jarin said but I interrupted him.

"I guess he was wrong about you being with Ebba then" I said gesturing around us. Jarin glared at me and I couldn't help but take a step behind Aliya so I couldn't see his glare.

"any way me and Ebba have been trying to get out of the country.." Jarin said

"and failing" I cut in. Jarins look seamed like it was burning through Aliya so I stepped back again.

"anyway I sent her off for fire wood and she must of got lost: Jarin said and yet again I butt in.

"maybe she got lost purpose she probable felt our sexually repressed auru and feared for her own safty at your hands" I said with a smile and I saw Jarin clenching hit sword very tigtly.

"It's all right I have a pistol so you can take it out" I said and Aliya looked at me with a you do? look I shook my head and she nodded.

"We must find her highness" Revelon announced in a booming voice and I couldn't help but let out a long, very long sigh.

Revelon Oracio:

The princess was alive.
Revelon smiled. He smelt a BIG raise.
"The Kenzel guard is sweeping the east side of the forest. Where exactly did you send the princess."
Jarin pointed east, and Revelon sighed. "Just as I feared," he walked into the bushes, but stopped just before them and turned around.
"Adam and Aliya... Was it?"
"Yes..." Adam answered.
Revelon smiled "You two will accompany us in this mission?" he put a certain amount of weight on the word "will".
Adam bit his lip, but Aliya smiled. "That's the plan."
"Excellent!" Revelon smiled "Then I don't have to kill you-" he turned around, the warm smile never left his face. He took his horse reins.

Aliya

Revelon took his horse by the reins and turned back to Jarin. "So, where can we find the princess?"

"She must be on the northern end of the forest." Jarin said. "I already swept the southern end closest to the capital. We were heading north anyways."

"Then north we go!" Revelon pulled himself onto his horse and started away from the clearing.

Jarin, Adam, and Aliya followed on foot.

"I wish we had a horse..." Adam mumbled. He was either complaining, or scheming a way to get us some horses, or both.

Aliya rolled her eyes. "You don't have to come along, you know."

Demeter-

I watched the bushes as a young woman emerged. She looked to be a few years older than me. Definitely not in her teens anymore, though. I stared at her suspiciously and she did the same.

"Who - who are you?" I asked quietly.

She walked towards me with a warm smile on her face. "Name's Rosalind. Yours?" I said nothing, but just continued to stare. It had been awhile since I'd seen another human. She lauged when I didn't respond. "Haha that's alright, I understand. I'm a stranger. Your parents probably tell you not to talk to strangers, huh?"

"Parents?" I asked, shocked. "No, no parents. They've been dead for the last four years." I saw her words slap her across the face then lodge themselves in her throat and choke her. I smiled. "That's alright. I'm getting along alright. I'm Demeter."
