Ebba closed her eyes, breathing in the serene morning air. She knew Jarin would be irritated when she returned to camp. He had only sent her to get firewood, but Ebba couldn't resist prolonging her walk. The forest was so beautiful; it was hard to imagine that soon these woods would be crawling with Kenzel's soldiers.
A twig snapped behind Ebba. Ebba spun around, dropping her armful of wood.
A girl stared back at Ebba, a bow clutched tightly in her hand. Ebba gulped. Her hand drifted up to grab her pendant.
The girl watched Ebba suspiciously. Ebba's mind spun. Did she have time enough to run? That would be what Jarin would want Ebba to do... But Ebba couldn't be sure hat the girl wouldn't attack Ebba from behind...
Suddenly, Ebba caught a whiff of rain. Her eyes turned back to the girl. Crackling electricity was spreading up the girl's arm. Soon the sparks covered the girl completely. Ebba threw a shield around herself. Ebba's pendent grew warm under Ebba's touch. Ebba loosened her grip on the stone nervously.
The girl frowned at Ebba. The sparks faded away. Her hand moved toward the dagger clipped to her hip.
"Who are you?" the girl demanded.
"Who are you?" countered Ebba quickly. A wry smile formed on the girl's face.
"Eden."
"Of what?" asked Ebba automatically. The girl, Eden, frowned.
"What do you mean?"
Now it was Ebba's turn to be confused. Everyone she knew had a first name followed by the land they owned. But, Ebba reasoned, she had only ever known nobles. Perhaps it was different for the common people of Tammur.
"Nothing," said Ebba uncertainly. "Never mind."
The girl didn't say anything for a minute. Ebba dared to let go of her pendant.
"You still haven't answered my question," the girl said. "Who are you?"
Ebba bit her lip. "My name is Ebba."
**Okay - either have your character overhear Ebba and Eden's conversation or have them run into your character.
I walked into the nobles house and put down the box of gold, the old noble stood up and waved his hand towards me. Making two guard come up to me.
"what the hell" I said shocked. The noble smiled.
"The deal was you bring me the gold and I don't kill you , you never said I could't order someone else to kill you" He said and I nodded his logic did make sence. Still I could get my way out of this one.
" now, that makes good sence but you never said what condition the gold was to be in" I said and the noble opened the chest both his guard were distracted staring into the go as well. I kicked the box into the bible and he stumnbled back wards before griping but the guards caught him. In the the time that they were disracted I had opened the door and was now running down the hall.
"move, thank you, move, thank you, get the hell out of my way" I yelled comments as I ran down the crowded hall I grabed a briefcase from by a mans foot and threw it throught the window at the en of the hall. Gracefully I jumped through the window and landed on my feet, only to find a xircle of men with spears pointed at my neck.
"pointy" I said before one of them knocked me unconciois.
Aliya walked silently through the village to the old womans home. It was a familiar walk, Aliya could do it blindfolded. She eventually came to the house and pushed the door open. Inside the house it was dim and incense burned, causing the room the be smokey.
"Welcome." Kachina said softly.
"Hello teacher." Aliya greeted as she sat on the ground before the woman.
Aliya could see her teacher through the haze. Kachina smiled kindly at her. "You know there is not much more I can teach you."
"I know."
"You will have to go on your own soon."
"I know."
The old woman raised an eyebrow. "Do you now?"
"Yes." Aliya responded. "And I know you will ask me to leave today."
Kachina smiled. "I know I have taught you well. I am confident that you will make me proud."
Aliya could help herself anymore. She leaned forward and hugged Kachina tightly. "I'll miss you."
Kachina hugged her back. "I will miss you too." Kachina pushed Aliya away and examined her. "You be careful now, remember what I have taught you."
"I will."
The two stood. Aliya was so very young in comparison to her teacher. Aliya knew her teacher worried about her young age. And the fact that she was one of the few female magic wielders out there.
"Here." Kachina handed a small leather draw-string bag to Aliya. Aliya looked at the bag, she wondered what it was. "It is filled with magic powder and other such magic business." The woman babbled. "Use it wisely."
Aliya nodded and hugged the woman again. She turned and left the house. She was on her own now. Aliya walked toward the busier area of the village. She noticed a young man in the middle of a group of guards. One of the guards hit him on the head with a spear and he fell to the ground.
Aliya sighed and ran towards the group. She muttered some words and pointed a hand at the feet of the soldiers. Snakes sprang from the ground and wound themselves up the legs of the soldiers. They panicked and ran.
She then approached the boy and shook him. He stirred and opened his eyes. "Thank me later." She said as she pulled him from the ground and started running out of the town. She could hear the guards when they realised the snakes were only illusions. She could hear the guards trying to find where she had dissapeared with their captive.
"Four minutes on my own and I'm already wanted by the law." She muttered. "You better be grateful, whoever you are."
Jarin is certainly tall, around the height of 6”2 and owns a tall Quarter Horse names Josef. He personally trained Josef so Josef is extremely loyal. He is a skilled horseman and can use both a sword and bow a top him.
Jarin has normal brown hair, in the sunlight it sometimes starts to become lighter. His skin is an olive tone and tans easily. Jarin’s eyes are something. They are a light blue, mixed with multiple colours like hazel and green making them certainly something to look at. He had a dark scar above his eyebrow from which he got in a practice duel. Because of his adventures of late, he has stubble starting to grow his chin making him look even gruffer.
Jarin wears dark leather armour because even though he is tall, he does not have a heavy build. He is lithe and quick. Because of the leather armour, it makes it easier to move and makes him have better dexterity. He has a beautiful gold and silver sword that was charmed so that it would never break.
Personality: He was once known as the perfect soldier, strong and inept. He is extremely quick witted and is brilliant under pressure. Jarin was once very boisterous, making sure everyone was in line. He was born a leader, but what happened after the devastating attack and trickery, Jarin seemed to have been changed. He became gruffer, his only cause is to protect Ebba. He will not leave her side for anything. Even though he sometimes has that soft side, where he can comfort people, calm them down, even speak about his own problems, that side is not so often seen. Jarin is quiet but can speak up when he needs to. He likes everything to stay in order.
Jarin has been extremely distraught over what happened. He is what someone would call broken. He does not truly live anymore, always haunted by memories passed of his beloved King and the timeless assassination that was conducted. He desires revenge and wishes to do anything to defy Kenzel if given the chance. That is of course if Ebba is out of harms way.
History: (I will fill this out if somebody so wishes to desire, but for time reasons, I would like to ask you to check the plot. You will be able to tell Jarin’s history from there. )
Magical Item: He was given a golden ring by the King for becoming the King’s guard. The ring has a large red jewel encrusted with the king’s crest. It is easy to identify and if anyone saw it, they would know that he was once a knight of the King’s court. The ring does barely anything except the calm of mind. The wearer will not panic as long as it is on, giving them a very big advantage in a fight because they have the calm of mind. It also gives them slight enhancement of ability, moreover better stamina.
Other: Up for love. Also, his horse Josef comes to a whistle. Jarin can whistle very well.

Phantom, I would ask of you to check if everything is in order. If not, tell me and I will chnage it. I will start posting as soon as I have been approved.

He'd met the princess once a few years before, but the girl inthe clearing resembled her a little. But...that was impossible. Princess Ebba had been killed. Kenzel claimed it was Jarin, but Acenon knew better. Jarin, his hero, could have done no such thing.
And here, here was surely the proof! How many girls who looked like the princess were called Ebba? Surely not enough for this to be meer coincidence. He stepped out from behind a tree, making sure that his sword was loosened in its scabbard in case the other girl was dangerous, but not drawing it for fear of alarming the princess.
"Princess Ebba?" He asked, a little cautious.
She looked shocked, even frightened that someone had recognised her. Composing herself a moment too late, she shook her head, "I don't know what you're talking about. I'm no princess, my name's just Ebba."
He shook his head, "I'm not going to hurt you, princess. I'm not one of the assassins or anything. I'm Acenon, we met at the summer ball a few years back." He paused for a moment, "It's not true, is it? What Kenzel is claiming about Jarun assassinating your family? It wasn't really him, was it?"

Ebba
Ebba's jaw dropped. "Acenon?" she whispered. The man nodded. Ebba looked away. She remembered him now.
Turning back to the man, Ebba put on a grim smile. "I remember you. No, Acenon, it is not true. Jarin - He saved my life that night. It was Kenzel who murdered my family. That monster."
Ebba was loosing nerve quickly. She had just revealed herself to a complete stranger and a noble who could very well be under Kenzel's influence. Jarin would be furious.
"Princess," said Acenon carefully. "Is - Is Jarin here?"
"Yes," said Ebba quickly, grateful for any distraction. "He is."
"Where?" pressed Acenon. Ebba met his gaze nervously. Then she remembered something about that long-ago summer ball where she had first met the man. Acenon could not stay away from Jarin for long. Ebba remembered Jarin becoming quite irritated.
Still, Ebba reasoned. No reason to trust Acenon completely. After all, two years had past since Ebba had last seen him.
In My position you had to be careful. I knew everything about the future, but I never could do anything about it, my magic still is to weak. It was terrible always to have to watch. but now there was good news for once. I didn't know what it was jet, but I felt there was a storm coming up. Even if I knew, I couldn't tell anyone. These days you could trust no one. Not even those closest to you. There were spies everywhere, and they would betray you for a piece of bread or a bottle of milk just to keep them, and their family alive. I hastened on barefoot through the wood, hearing the dead leafs crunch under them. There were still a few good people around. I would find them, and find out what all of this was about.
