April~~

Ra was now passed out on the ground, the battle raged on with the demon though despite the fallen wizard.

"Ra!" April cried as she watched her comrade falter and fall, "Ra!!"

Altu and Alje were seen nearby fighting the creature, the roars and scrapes could be heard like it was right in your ear.

The witch cried the wizard's came over and over again, he had saved her life and right now all she was doing was sobbing like a small child. She grabbed his hand in her own without even knowing it, soon the others took flight into the air, the ground area was safe, for now.

"Please don't die, please don't die," She whispered, April pulled out her wand and proceeded to heal the small cuts and bruises for it was the least she could do. All was silent and you could swear you could hear the sound of April's teardrops hit the ground in little pats. The shade of the trees moved with the sun and soon a little glint of sun shined through and onto Ra's body.

The sun!

April had forgotten all about it! She couldn't risk moving Ra so she shot down the few large branches above. A abstract square allowed rays of sunlight to filter through.

Ra stirred and more tears ran down April's stained cheek.

Altu couldn't hold up for much longer. As much as he wanted to fight, to prove himself worthy, he could barely stay awake as the blood gushed from his side. The disjointed beat of his heart was lulling him into a sleep, one he knew he probably wouldn't wake up from. The blast from Ra's spell had done more harm than good, it seemed
He lifted himself from the sand, whirling around to face the injured demon once more. He was either going to die trying to kill the demon, or kill it and die afterwards. He knew what he had to do. Roaring and screeching, he flew at the demon once more.

*sorry, got nothing for Shed-Scale right now*

totally cool Mad_Moo. And I don't know if I said this already but it is cool if Shed-Scale wants to be allied with Korah and Max, could be fun!

Korah

Korah whirled around, his eyes narrowing into slits. "A Spirit," he growled, "Where can you be little one?" he called softly as his eyes swung over his zombies, searching for any in-normality's amongst the ranks. A certain zombie caught his eye, watching he saw the creature fall, twitching as the magic which held it together slowly dissolved into the air. Another zombie right next to it began to twitch as well, its arms and legs flopping and moving oddly before it collapsed.

Korah grinned, "Got you," he murmured as another zombie began to go into death throes. Pulling out a small silver bell Korah gave it one small plink. The sound drifted through the air, and at once the zombie death throes stopped. The Zombie however seemed to almost panic. It began to look around, fearfully as if something was wrong.

Korah just smiled. He had trapped the spirit inside of the zombies body. It hadn't taken much. Zombies of this level didn't posses souls, and although you could put a soul in a zombie the whole processes was long, tedious, and not really worth the stress or time it took. However with a soul so nearby he had simply allowed the spirit to enter a zombie, before sealing off its escape and attaching it to the zombie. Now the spirit was, in essence, a zombie. It wouldn't be able to break out of that body for at least a day or so, and the exciting thing would be whether the other magical creatures would attack it or not.

Very ammused Korah turned just in time to see a large explosion shatter the air. Fire and smoke billowed up into the sky as a large fire cloud rose into the sky. "Shit..." he muttered as he watched it. "It must have been that darn wizard." They were loosing, but that was the point. However Korah wouldn't mind taking out a few of the pitiful magical creature in the process.

He quickly pulled out another bell. This one was obsidian, darker then the night sky. As he rang it the sound that came out was deep and ominous. The ground around Korah slowly split and rose open as three figures climbed out. One was a man, about eight feet tall. He wielded a large battle axe and was covered in cuts and gaping wounds. The second one was a woman. In each hand she held a knife, and other blades were strapped all over her body. And beside her stood the last one, a man, dressed in the robes of a wizard and holding a staff with a large crystal atop.

Pointing at the battle Korah ordered, "Go, and kill them all." The beings merely nodded as they turned and went to attack. There weren't your normal zombies. These beings still possessed souls. They had once been champions, great fighters in real life. But as they had died Korah had grabbed their souls, and bound them back into their bodies, forcing them all to serve him.

Pulling his own sword out of his sheath, Korah turned and leapt toward the battle. An Alan was the first to confront him. Spinning and hissing the bird man attacked with a sword, his attacks coming quick as he danced around.

Korah calmly blocked each blow, and each time their swords connected the Alan's blade began to rot and rust. Grinning wickedly Korah grabbed the Alan's sword as the creature struck out again. The blade slowly dissolved, turning to dust in his hands as Korah grabbed his blade and rammed it into the Alan's gut. The bird man gave a soft cry of pain as he slowly slipped to the ground, blood gushing from his wound. "Rhett!" someone called, but Korah ignored them Raising his sword he brought it down hard and in once smooth motion severed the Alan's head from its body.

Then he slowly turned to attack another, no one was going to stop him.

I killed Rhett. Hope its okay since his writer hasn't done anything with him since like page 2 :)

Traystal

He was practically screaming, trapped inside this body. The necromancer had caught him, had trapped him inside this damned corpse! If there was one thing Traystal realised had weighed him down in his life, it had been a body. Being a spirit alone had been so much easier, and now he was trapped inside this putrid, rotting corpse that could barely move!

He tested it, with a soul to animate it, it was far less sluggish than its companions, but he could still use it just fine.

Nearby, a human was slowly thinning out the ranks of zombie soldiers, conceding ground one step at a time as he cut down one after another. Traystal decided he'd stay away from that area.

Instead, he tried to get a feel for the sword in his hand - he'd never been good with weapons while alive, and being dead hadn't improved his lot. But he swung it with all the savage efficacy of the zombies around him, cutting his way towards the edge, trying to get his corpse's mouth to call out that he was not, in fact, a zombie.

"Witch!" He yelled at the witch, who was crying over the body of one of the others. She looked up, seeing this creature yelling at her in a horse, guttural tone, and reached for her wand. He held up his hands quickly, "No! It's Blondie! Trapped!" He managed to articulate, gesturing at the body. All he could do was hope she'd understand. While he didn't think she could free him - it was a witch against a specialist with the dead, after all - she'd at least be able to protect him from her friends, and she was the only one in their group he could convince to help him.
He had decided to live forever or die in the attempt. - Yossarian, Catch-22

Moo: I'm cool with the shed-scale thing. But Max would not be very happy about it. Pointing out reasons why shed-scale would not be of help. How they could not waste time finding a griffin, etc. But eventually he lets the snake join, reluctantly.

I'll post later.

-Scado-

Scado woke suddenly and jerked up realizing it was a bad move. The back of his head flared in pain. What happened? he thought to himself and then remembered the explosion sending him into a tree. He looked around and saw that the entire area where the fight happened was burned away. He slowly stood and saw Arpil crying over Ra who laid on his side.

"What happened to him?" Scado asked.

"He took the blast of his own magic for me," she cried. Ra moaned as she said this and looked up.

"Hey, don't sweat about it," Ra said. "I would do anything for a friend."

"We need to get moving," Scado said. "Are you well enough to walk?"

Ra

Had he really just said that. Friends. The word, and the idea were so foreign to him, a concept that he had never been able to grasp while being in the human world. Yet what he had done had been a very... friendship like thing, hadn't it? To throw your life away for someone else's, to take the hit for them. These were the things humans did, the things the gods would puzzle about for centuries, trying to understand the complexity of such emotions.

"Friends," Ra whispered again, as April slowly helped him stand to his feet. Maybe he was just truly beginning to understand what that meant.

"We need to fall back," Scado growled as he surveyed the area. The battle was still raging, but it was obvious neither side was loosing, both had suffered heavy casualties and they needed to get out, now.

"Scado!" a young voice called and they all turned to see Keenan, the young dragon, come running towards them. He opened his mouth to say something else when a large axe came swooping out of no where. It sliced cleanly through the young boys neck, sending his twitching body to the ground while the head flopped a few feet away.

They all just stood there in shock, their mouths hanging open as a large man stepped forward. He was at least eight feet tall, muscular and large with a giant battle axe in one hand. His skin was torn and rotting in numerous places, obviously he was a Zombie, but he wasn't a normal one.

"I'll deal with him," Scado growled as he leapt forward, his claws coming out and swishing through the air as he struck.

The large zombie was hardly slow, he easily dodged the strikes and whipped the butt of his axe around, catching Scado in the face and hurtling the young werewolf back with a howl. "Oh great," April muttered as the giant turned towards them. Looking over at the zombie by them she said, "Hey Blondie, think you can help?"

The zombie, or rather spirit in the zombie, nodded shortly and went forward as the giant attacked, its large axe whistling through the air with astonishing speed, "He's different," Ra whispered with a grunt, as he felt his vision once again began to swim.

"Different?" April asked,

"Yes," Ra murmured, "There is a soul still inside!"

Max

The vampire wailed, his body screamed louder though. The fire ball had covered him in such bright light; the whole shade skin potion had been used to protect him. If not for the fact the force had landed him under a tree, he would be a pile of dust. With all the energy he had, Max reached to his cloak pocket, and found, a pile of glass shards, and a liquid. The shade skin bottle had broken. A burst of adrenalin went through Max, and he reached to a second pocket.

There he found a small amulet. He touched the center, and watched it flare. A moment later there was a screech, as the amulet turned to dust, and a carriage appeared. In the front were six horse like creatures, they had wings, and tight, blood red skin. One lowered its neck, right next to Max's mouth. The vampire took a greedy bite, and felt blood rush into him, and strength. The now strong vampire crawled into the carriage, which was cool, and pitch black. Once the door opened, a small light appeared, of bright blue flames. This allowed Max to find a path to a seat, ad a cabinet next to it. There he found several fresh bottle of Shade skin, which he applied.

"Take off," Max shouted, and the skeletal horses up to the air. Max undid a window shade. "To the man on the demon," He added, and the horses made a path to that spot.

"Korah. We need to move now. There is a god among them. The one wizard, that fire ball is far too strong to be from anything but one. And only Ra can be that one," Max said.

The necromancer was shocked, but nodded.

"Get the reins. I need rest. The fireball almost killed me," Max instructed, Korah obeyed. The demon was sucked back to the amulet where it was held, and the carriage took off again.

*just going t bring Sempre in here hope its okay*

Sempre

I watched the battle with a smile on my face, such destruction in such short time, this was fun. Then I saw the bad guys fleeing and I was suddenly torn, did I go and start my revenge and kill the god Ra. If you could call him a god anymore. Or did I make my deal with the necromancer and the vampire. Before I had properly decide I transportd my self to the

inside of the carriage. The vampire was sitting with Shade position and was shocked when I appeared as was the necromancer who raised his sword.

"no reason for that" I said smiling and the necromancer put down his sword. He still kept it unsheathed which made me angry.

"put it away" I shouted in my commanding voice and he had no choice but to put the sword back in its sheath.

"now I have an agreement for both of you. You vampire how would you like to be free of that postion never again have to fear the sunlight, I can make that happen with this" I said and pulled out a bottle filled with a pure gold liquid.

"what the hell is that" The vampire said and I smiled.

"blood of a god" I said and gave him the bottle, he stared caustioly.

"and you necromancer for you I have something special, if you join me and help me then you will unlock the true gods, imagine how greatly you would be rewarded, we could even make you a god what dp you say" I said smiling at the end and outstreetching my arm.

I won't speak for DSF. So I'll just say Max's position. He will do what Korah does. I don't want him to be a loner.

-Scado-

Scado rubbed the side of his head as he got up. He glared at the zombie. If I only had the Blood Blade, he thought to himself. With a rush he run forward to swipe at the zombie. He ducked as the axe swung at his and rolled out of the way. Dammit.

"Scado," Ra called, "be careful with this zombie, he's different."

"How can a zombie be different than the rest," Scado said. "They're all dead."

"It's true thiss zombie's body is dead, but it contains a spirit in its flesh."

"So, it seems not even disguising myself as a zombie will fool you, Ra," said the zombie. With out moving the zombie changed into Pravius. "You thought I forgot about you guys. And it I learned an interesting fact: it seems the sword I destroyed was not the Blood Blade."

"Why are you here, Pravius!" Scado shouted.

"I was bored," Pravius said. "I thought you guys would be fun to play with, but it turns out you are not. But this is not the reason I am here. Give me the map, Scado."

"What map?"

"Don't play dumb with me, I know you have it, so now hand it over."

"April and Ra, do you have the map memorized?" They both nodded. Scado took the map out out. "You can have its ashes, Pravius. Burn it, April!"

Suddenly the map burst into flames. Scado dropped it to the ground to advoid buring himself.

"Dammit, you insulent fool!" Pravius shouted. "I will find and destroy those pieces of the Blood Blade. You haven't seen the last of me." Pravius caught on fire and was gone seconds later.

*screams* AHHH Confusion! So i came to post but I need some explanation before I do anything. I thought Pravius is with Korah and Max not with Scado/Ra/April/All the others, so where IS he? Also Max, lets help out Pravius. Have you ever tricked a god before? It's fun, trust me... MWAHAHAHAHAHA

*Well, I looked through the last few pages and I have not seen Pravius once. So I thought I might as well bring her back with her own agenda. She could pretend she is working for Max, Korah, and all of them, but really is out to do her own thing.*
