Singing: It's more than my forte; it's my fortissimo --- They say "Guns don't kill people. People kill people." Well, I think guns help. If you just stand there and yell BANG I don't think you're going to kill too many people...
"Check over there." Viking said, pointing to the right towards the forest with his tail. "She said she was trying to catch a mouse of something."
Kayla rolled her eyes.
"Honestly, that pup has to some how be related to the Yellow Hill pack. Who's ever heard of a wolf that hunts mice." Viking growled with annoyance.
"Calm down Viking. She is only a pup." Ghost murmured between bites of his rabbit.
"Your to fond of that annoying pup." Viking muttered.
"She is one of the few that understand, the true meaning of pain." Ghost sighed as he got up, and stalked off to the woods.
"You know out of all of the wolves here. I'm pretty sure that pissing off the Shaman is probably the worst you can do." Toxin said with a grin. While Sting giggled her innocent giggle.
"Shut up." Viking growled snapping his teeth at Sting. Sting flinched, being a pup she still want use to Viking's aggressiveness towards all of the pups.
Toxin jumped up and pushed Viking back. "Leave her alone." he growled back, his tail lashing back and forth with anger.
"Viking! Toxin! Calm down! I leave to scout for a while! And this is what I come back to!" Lido growled.
"Sorry." they both muttered.
"What happened here Bors?" Lido questioned.
"Well Viking got mad about Lark trying to catch a mouse. Then he went to talk to Ghost who left to go do something, then Toxin got Viking mad, and Sting laughed at him. So he snapped at her and then Toxin got mad and defended her." Bors said calmly.
Ghost~Black Tooth
Viking is always being to arrogant. It's surprising that he is still Beta Ghost thought as he walked through the woods. It seemed like that was all he did now these days. He hadn't had any sense of danger so far.
"Maybe I haven't tried hard enough." Ghost thought as he felt a sense of pride bounding towards him. Lark's sense was one of the few that were different, from the rest of the Black Tooth pack. It wasn't as bloodthirsty.
"Ghost! Look at what I caught!" Lark beamed as she set the mouse down at his feet. Ghost smiled at her, one of the few moments were she acted her true age. "I had some help thou."
"Not really, she would of caught it even if I wasn't there." Kayla smiled as she looked at her student.
"Your getting better." Ghost noted. "Soon you won't even be called a pup." he chuckled.
"I'm going to be the best I can. And I'll be able to help Bors and every one else. And prove that I'm worthy of being in the pack." she boasted. Then frowned a little.
"What's wrong?" Ghost asked as he cocked his head to the side.
"Well will I have to go on raids? And slaughter the Yellow Hill's pups?" she asked barely audible.
"No. It is only if you want to." Kayla informed.
After a moment of silence Ghost spoke up. "We should get back to camp. I sense Viking is starting something." and with that they headed back.
"Why don't we let Peeta claim it, since he died today?"-Finnick (Catching Fire) "We may be friends and all, but if were being chased by crazy flesh eating zombies. I won't lie. . .I'll trip you."~ Me after watching the hills have eyes.
Hera stared down at her fellow pack members from her resting spot on a large rock, the sun behind her baking her pelt. Although they were adults they still acted like pups. Talon, who was laying beside her, was chuckling to himself lightly, shaking his large, brown head. Hera smirked and lept of the rock, landing beside Lido without a sound. "I don't think Viking can really help it, he still thinks he's a pup at times." She smiled crookedly, getting a snarl from Viking. "See always getting upset at the smallest things." She twitched her tail back and forth, a smile still on her lips.
Bane - Yellow Hill
Bane snarled, glancing behind him at the wolverines that were submerged in thick, green forest. "Leo, you can run quickly, can't you?" He snarled at the first wolverine that stepped out of the shadows, which caused it to sink back. Leo nodded slowly, still shaking. "Okay, run as fast as you can down the path we came and get back to the pack. There aren't any in that gap, so if you hurry you can get through with ease. Two of us can take the wolverines closest to the path on the left and the other two can take the right side. Is that okay?"
Oh, the tiger will love you. There is no sincerer love than the love of food. George Bernard Shaw
I cringed and lifted my upper lip to growl softly. I hated it when I had to do something. I snapped the bone that I was gnawing on in half and stood up. Very slowly, I stalked over to the alpha. He glowered at me. I sighed, annoyed, and rolled my eyes, narrowing them as I looked up at him again.
"Toxin?" He asked.
"What?" I snapped viciously.
He snarled. "Don't use that attitude with me! You know very well what..."
I stared at him. "Uh, no, I don't."
He growled lightly at me. "It's your turn to hunt. Now go. And don't come back until you have something that the entire pack can share."
His words perturbed me. The fur on my back bristled and I turned towards the trees slowly. I sulked towards them, pouting the whole way there. Some of my pack mates, as I am reluctantly forced to call them, snickered as I walked by. I took a snap at every one of them. Sting just watched me as I walked by her. Growing up with me, I guessed she had learned not to do anything that might set me off, for which there was a lot.
After thoroughly searching the trees, I managed to find a small elk and took it down without a problem. Dragging it back to the den was the hardest part. When I got it there, I had to fight off the other wolves until I could get it back to Lido. For some reason, unkown to me, he always felt the need to have the first pick off of whatever it was that we caught, even if he had nothing to do with the catching of it.
Much as it annoyed me, I never said anything. Once already I had been tossed out of someone's life. Being tossed out of the lives of every wolf in my pack would be a bit too much to comprehend.
Once Lido had picked a portion for himself, I went for one of the hind legs. Viking, under the impression that, as he was the beta, should have second pick, tried to get me off, but I managed to rip off the leg before he could do anything. Sting and I shared my prize.

Sorry it's not very exciting, but it's something n_n Anyone can jump in, if you can think of something XD

Star shifted awkwardly, nodding at the new wolf's question. He stifled the urge to bolt, having so many wolves around was making him nervous. Before the wolf could say anything, she was cut off by a desperate howl.

Please read and review my novel. The title is Fireborn. Here's the link.
Rayne sat on the edge of a small hill, peering out across the golden plains below her. Her bushy black and cream tail swished lightly back and forth, her dark blue eyes scanning the horizon. The amber grass under her swayed gently in a warm summer breeze. It softly rustled her multicolored coat and she closed her eyes, taking in the calming, peaceful sensation. A young elk pranced happily, unknowingly, in the fields below her. Her eyes creaked open slowly and she smiled a devilish wolven smile.
'Too easy,' Rayne thought to herself as she watched it.
She dug the black claws of her yellow and black forepaws into the earth, getting a feel for the terrain on which she sat. She closed her eyes again, and a devious toothy smile crept onto her face. She stood up and tensed her muscles, ready to leap off the hill and charge at the unsuspecting creature. Heart racing, adrenaline pumping, she prepared herself to leap, when all of a sudden...
"Pssst!" A loud whisper infiltrated her ears. She flinched and tensed even more. When she didn't respond to the whisper, it sounded again. "Pssssssst! Raaa-yyyne!!" The second one was louder, almost not even a whisper at all.
A low, deep growl emerged from somewhere deep in her chest. Her concentration had been broken, and all hope of catching the elk had all but diminished.
"Raaa-yyyne!!!" It was now a dull roar.
Unable to contain her anger and annoyance, Rayne whirled around.

**Yeah sure, that's fine. Also, I might make my own non wolf character later... who you'll meet soon enough **
Lhuna, Yellow Hill.
Zodiak glared at Tier who was rolling on the ground, shaking with laughter at Zodiak's hideous attempt at trying to 'save' Ossal from young Star, as the old shaman kindly recollected the story to them.
Lhuna smiled and chuckled quietly, not wanting to provoke him and cause a skirmish.
She was still unsure about the young wolf. He may be a Black Tooth scout, spying on the pack, she thought carefully. Zodiak's bickering and Tier's laughing ebbed away as she was lost in her thoughts. Daydreamer, Rayne often called her. It was so easy for her to slip into her own little world. A world where there was no rivalry, no pup killers, and certainly no Black Tooth.
Ossal shook his head, like he was reading her thoughts.
"No, Lhuna. He's not one of them."
"Okay Ossal, I trust you." She gave him a curt nod, and turned to Star.
"Star, welcome to the pack. Ossal will teach you how it works here, but don't be afraid to ask me anything," she said kindly to him, wrinkling her nose in a friendly wolf smile.
"Prrf, always trusting those imaginary friends of his..." Zodiak scoffed.
"Spirits, Zodiak!" Ossal snapped back at him.
Suddenly, a loud howl tore through the air, making all the pelts of the wolves stand on end.
"It's a warning call!" Tier said, as they all turned their heads.
"Stay calm, and gather the others," Ossal began to instruct the others, but Lhuna was gone in a split second, her paw thuds ebbing away as she disappeared over a thicket. He ran as fast and as hard as she could, her amazing stamina preventing her muscles from aching whatsoever.
The sound of a fight came to her ears, and the vicious screeches of wolverines sent an electric shock down her spine.
Zodiak, Yellow hill.
Gather the wolves, gather the wolves, Zodiak murmured to himself. With Lhuna left to protect the others, it was up to him and Ossal to gather the other wolves and see if they were unharmed.
His breath came out in clouds against the navy sky as Rayne's colourful pelt came into view.
"Rayne! Rayne!" he hissed at her, not caring whether she would be angry if her hunt was enterupted.
"Rayne! The others are in trouble!"
“Poetry is old, ancient, goes back far. It is among the oldest of living things. So old it is that no man knows how and why the first poems came.”
Food Time was not my time. None of the other wolves except Kayla liked me, so that generally meant that I never got any pack food.
I loped out of the camp and followed one of the little known pack trails. After a while I broke off the trail and wandered. I never really got hungry so I didn't go fast, I just wandered hoping that I would find something. Eventually I smelled something that made the edge of my mouth point up. I dropped low and creeped through the bushes, making no sound.
When the boar was is sight I jumped, ripping out it's jugular. It tried to run but when it fell it turned to fight. I snarled and began to circle, making blinding jumps in whenever it seemed to falter. After thirty seconds it was dying on the ground.
I licked my lips and moved in to get a little food.
*sorry, I got way behind because my internet wouldnt let me read.*

Words - so innocent and powerless as they are, as standing in a dictionary, how potent for good and evil they become in the hands of one who knows how to combine them. ~Nathaniel Hawthorne
