I sat in the gym. I had collapsed earlier and gotten the heck out of there before anyone saw me. I sat alone, as usual. A girl growled near me. They called her Red. She was asking for a challenge.
"You will fight amongst your own kind, the only ones who can understand this...thing we're going through?" I asked disgusted. "Why don't you just attack a guard?" She growled at me ready to pounce. I strated changing, just in case.
"You're my challlenger?" she asked amused.
"No. I won't fight with you, but I will tell you what an idiot you're being," I said, viciously.
"I noticed from the beganing that you have a loose tounge," Red said. "You may end up regretting that." I continued anyway.
"Here you are, a brave girl, striking fear into the hearts of the ones you think weaker than you. If you want to fight, go ahead, but I won't cower beneath you either. You don't need to do this," I said. I wasn't trying to be mean, but I had had a long day and Red had just pulled my last nerve.
"You don't tell me what I need," she yelled. Then she pounced. I flew into the air, but not before her paw clipped my wing. I soared up to the ceiling trying to ignore the shooting pain in my arm-wing.
