Max~~

"Well.." I chewed my food slowly, "of how I got here or how the government found me?"

"Either or" Kylie said chewing over her food, Kori's swift glances went back and forth between us.

"Well, I was just walking down the street and decided I needed to cross the street so I froze time, like only three seconds and ran across" Complete lie but I couldn't tell that I was a world renowned thief, "Then I heard sirens and a bunch of cops so I started running, I manged to get away but then I found this lovely," I pointed to Kori with my fork.

"Sorry.." Kori Mumbled looking away and I laughed.

"Then my friend Jack, well we aren't really friends, just people who seem to run into each other like alot," I took a breath, "and he took us here. Him and his family are acquaintances with me, I'm kind of like a distant cousin or Aunt."

I talked so fast that Kylie dropped her fork in disbelief and Kori just stared wide eyed.

"What is you guy's story?" I said plopping a piece of gooey pancake in my mouth.

Jess

I walked into the kitchen were everybody was eating brinner and sharing their stories. They offered me brinner but I has a craving for coal. I'd drove Jay and Jack crazy making them find me some I didn't know why I had a craving for coal but Jay said it was because the baby needed certain vitamins that were in coal and that's why I wanted some. "So what's your story" Max said as I sat down with my coal
"oh pretty simple really ran away from home got guys to protect me guy's got caught found a new guy seems a little weired really considering I have super strength" They nodded in agreement before
The girl Kori spoke "so what have you been doing since you got here"
"just looking at Jack Outcast files, good reads" They looked at e like what the hell "you see an outsider stole these files from the government and Robin and Jay and Jack saved him but he didn't actually give them to him as gratitude, Jay told me that when he was gonna leave with the files Jack wouldn't let him and shot him right in the head, not that their wasn't a fight you see Robin and Jay were out so it was just him and Jack. Jay said the place was a mess when they got back broken sink dents in the wall scorch marks even from when the Outsiders blasts of radiation missed him still if you look on his back he's got a radiation mark it's the only thing he can't heal from quickly" Kori looked a little shocked and the new person looked like she would quickly run out but she didn't Max however looked calm. "Yeah I've heard that story even helped scrubbing the blood off the walls" they all looked at Kori it was her turn to tell her story.

Jack

I drove quickly following the red dot it was in a bar in new york. When I got their it was chaos two trucks were overturned and government soldiers were all over the place then I saw her Nicole my sister.

Nicole

I saw Jack for a fleeting moment before diving into the chaos. Debris rained everywhere

I waiting patiently for the Kori girl to talk. But she just stared at her food.

I gave her a little nudge. "How about if I go first? Then you can jump in." I suggested.

She nodded. I don't know why I was going to do this, but everyone seemed pretty trustworthy, and I liked having a group.

"Okay. Well when i was young I had a pretty normal life for an outcast. I had a single mother who was also like me, but not. She was a terrible mother and would beat me often when I hadn't yet discovered my powers. She wanted me to be just like her. I hated her. When I found my ability I quickly got out of there. I met up with another outcast who could print up fake papers, you know id's and stuff, and thats how Iget around pretty much unnoticed. That outcast was captured by the government long ago. And I've been pretty much alone ever since."

I looked at Kori and smiled. "Go ahead."

Kale- Power: Electric current on her arms

Kale smiled apologetically at Kayla. "I know how you feel," she murmured softly. "It must be wonderful to run fast. So... do you want some food?"

"Sure," Kayla replied and sat down on a stump near a fire pit.

"So, what are you going to do to get away from the government. I haven't exactly thought of a plan yet. I'll probably just get as far as I can away from here..." she continued.

Kale- Power: Electric current on her arms

Kale thought about this as she served Kayla some stew. "Hmm. I haven't given much thought about it. I really just want to stay as far away from them as possible.... Sorry about the stew, by the way. I know it's not the most appetizing thing in the world."

Kori -

"I don't know why you're all so intrigued by my past ... its quite simple, really." She shrugged a scooped another forkful in her mouth. Once she swallowed, she started talking again. "In school I never talked much. Guidance counsellor-- any my parents, as well-- were quite worried I was being bullied. In truth I just hate talking. But during this time I'd found out about my powers, and I was worried to put others in danger because of me. That's all, really," Kori scopped another fork full in her mouth.

"Mm, good brinner," She patted her stomach and smiled at Max.

"Well since were all going to be traveling together from here on out it's probably nice to get to know eachother a little better." I looked at the blank faces around me.

I got a little worried. "We are going to be traveling together..aren't we?"

Max~~~

Traveling together? What was she talking about? Max chewed the thoughts over in her head, she was fine alone and pretty much a happy camper, alone. She then flipped the thought over and put it inside out Haven't actually had "people" in a while and she smirked. This was Jack's show, she had no control.

"I have no clue..." Max finally answered a question

Jess

Traveling together maybe it all depended on what Jay and Robin thought I mean it might look like Jack was running the show but really he took every real order from Robin. I still wasn't sure if I was allowed to stay with them but probably Robin was friendly. Speak of the devil I thought as Robin walked in with a new boy. He smiled and waved at us.

Jack

I tried to follow Nicole but she lost me on the subway hopefully she would find her way back to the hideout.
When I walked in everybody was sitting around the table talking Jay was the only one not their, hope He's okay I could see the same look on Robins face.

I got introduced to Evan and Kylie after some laughs we started talking more seriously. "So you know what about the government and shit how they doing" Evan asked
"oh pretty simple their losing tones of soldiers and then they have to bring in unqualified soldiers to deal with us and then because their not trained properly they die a vicious bloody cycle" I finished and grabbed some brinner I was starving.

"It's fine," Kayla reassured her. "I'm so hungry, I could eat anything."

Kale smiled.

"So, how long have you been out here?" Kayla asked.

Kale- Power: Electric current down her arms

Kale looked at the ground once again. "Ohh, I'm not sure. A month or two? It's been such a blur..." She trailed off and smiled weakly at Kayla.

Robin~

"Ohh, is that food i smell?" Robin dashed to get a plate from the cupboard then piled brinner onto it. As she was doing so she introduced Evan. The others seemed nervous in his presence. "By the way, has Jay been by here yet? I have a job for him."

::Kylie::

I looked around at everyone who had joined us.

I listened to Evan talk about the government. I then realised I was still in the uniform, I blushed and wondered how no one else had noticed.

"Uhm can I excuse myself to change?" I asked. "I'm tired of this uniform and I dont want to be mistaken anymore."

The group seems to agree and Max points me toward the bathroom.

I grab my black duffle bag and walk out.

I walk down the hallway to find the bathroom and I am suddenly tackled to the ground and have a gun held to my head.

"What are you doing here government scum." a voice growls in my ear.

"It-it's not what you think." I gasp.
