the caves sounded like a good idea, only didn't other animals make their homes there?
I asked this questions and someone laughed, "Wait, what, you're afraid of bats and rats, huh?"
I shook my headed, not even bothering to look at whoever was talking, they were probably right.

"Whatever, let's just go." I said.

Chris

It was a good idea, and with the fire, water and shelter problem, all we really had to worry about was food, which we would find eventually, if not in the form of fruits then at least in the form of fish. I hoped.

"Yeah, great idea." I said.

It seemed like pretty much everyone had agreed, we were just waiting to see if anyone had any objections and we would set off.

He had to admit, at least to himself, that he was not at all happy with moving to the caves. To him, the jungle still seemed unfriendly, and he didn't want to get that close to it. Although, he did realize that they had, more or less, zero choice in the matter. Besides, they'd probably be closer to food this way.

He doubted anything serious lived in those caves. Maybe, as someone had already pointed out, bats and rats and the like, but nothing like what had attacked their camp. No, he reasoned that something that smart and seemingly efficient had to be capable of building its own shelter.

"Should we shift what we've got left from the camp, as well? You know, some of the wood, the clothes and sleeping bags, all that stuff." Luis said, looking around the group.

So that was that. We were going to the caves. Well, whatever, nothing worse could happen, right? Luis suggested we should move our stuff, well whatever was left of it, that is. We decided this was a wise idea.
After we had done that, we silently walked towards the caves. I played with my newly found power of creating breeze, on the way. It was fun, but I could tell it was strange as someone said "This wind thing is acting so weird, it goes around in all sorts of different directions, it's as if someone's controling it." Whoops. Well I hope no one caught sight of the way I had waved my palm to make those changes. On the other hand, who cares? Even if they did find out i'm a witch, I know it's worse than being a fairy, but then, I don't think they will feel that freaked out by the prospect if I could help out.
That's when I decided we needed this place to become cooler, even in the afternoon it was so hot. I decided a little bit of rain won't hurt us, and we were already by the caves, with the rain could come a little cold wind, I really just wanted to test out my newly found powers. Which was the first time when I lost comntrol over them, because the moment it started lightly raining and it became all chilly, but we were inside, already, almost at the same time we heard this lighting and thunder and the rain started pouring, instead of lightly drizzling. I tried to stop it, I did.

Then suddenly someone said:

"People we have to go out, it's not save to be in a cave during a thunderstorm." Everyone panicked. I tried to concentrate on averting the thunderstorm from us, "WAIT" I managed to choke out, I tried to wish it away, the way I had wished for the wind and eventually it began working, my breathing had become all heavy and I couldn't open my eyes, but it was working. I would drive this storm, away. And in what seemed like the longest time It stopped, abruptly.

"That's not necessary." I said, as my breathing became even.

"That's so weird." I said. "The storm just, stopped." The whole leaving the cave thing didn't seem like a good idea though, isn't it safer to be in a covered area? So I was glad to not have to leave the dry area.

Some others seemed to notice the abrupt stop of the storm too, and were all looking at Kate. She did tell us to wait just before it ended. It was strange but not much stranger than being able to produce fire from your bare hands.

I sat back and looked around our new home while everyone else tried to come to a conclusion.

The cave was pretty small, it didn't go back too far and I could see the back wall of it. There was a decently sized rock ledge that stuck out past the opening of the cave. The cave was only a little climb up the mountain, close enough to the ground that if you fell off the ledge you wouldn't die.

It would make a nice shelter.

"Well, uh..." I tried to break the silence. My voice echoed a little bit and I flinched. I was probably being paranoid, but that's what keeps me alive.

"Me and Star'll go exploring. Maybe we can find our culprit."

"You got lost last time." Someone said, I didn't catch who it was. I felt Comet's anger at the statement and I sent him calming thoughts. Didn't work as well as I thought it would.

"What's that supposed to mean?" He growled.

"It means that maybe the two of you shouldn't go off alone." I said. I couldn't help sounding mean, that Comet kid just ticked me off.

"Like you could do any better." he growled. "If I recall you haven't been into the jungle much since we have left."

I didn't even try to calm myself down. While his sister gave of a calming vibe, he gave off a vibe that made me want to hit him in the face. "Well I know a thing or two about surviving and getting places."

"What's that supposed to mean?!" he was in my face now.

"It means, you got lost last time." I growled.

"Stop it you two." Star said anxiously.

"No, this guy is asking for it." Comet yelled.

"Bring it on." I said, waiting to let him make the first move.

the storm had just stop as i looked up at the dense rain. I was lucky enough that all our stuff were still with us.

"Ms. Midori," Lindy asked me as we venture deeper trying to map the place. "Are you still a geisha?"

I looked at ehr and smiled with a piece of paer on my hands with illustrations of places in significance in the jungle. "Of course, i am..." i replied. "I am not doing it know especcially with this stranded stuff and all. Besides who am i to entertain?"

We ventured east of the jungle after travelling 30 minutes away from the hot springs and three hours away from my camp. I just hoped amamori was still safe. If she were awake by now, i cooked ehr some fishes just in case she got hungry.

Then i stopped abruptly holding a dagger close to my fist. Lindy tried to asked me what is happening but i silence her.

There were voices i can hear not far from here. I peeked through the dense forest and saw a tiny cave before me. It was a small cave and from it i can see figures talking in it. I sighed again. I am too overprotective.

I noticed that they were the same people that i saw from the camp...guess there lost or something. Their camp is simply an hour's walked from here. I relaxed myself and ordered Lindy to follow me.

I walked towards the cave with my weapons closed to my chest and the first thing that i saw from them were their stares towards me.

"Comet." Star said, warning me. This kid didn't know what me and star had been through; what we could do with our bare hands. I couldn't wait for him to find out. So I grinned.

COMET! Star screamed in my head, I shoved her voice into the back of my head and gave the guy a smirk. Beating him up was going to be amusing.

"You really want to mess with me?" I said, feeling my adreniline start to go up. This was going to be good.

I felt a cocky smirk come to my face. "I think the question is, do you want to mess with me."

I could tell this really fired him up. Everyone else was watching now too. My pulse raced, the adrenaline pumping. It had been a while since my last good fight.

Alexis

James and Comet were facing off, a fight was going to come. This wouldn't usually bother me, but we were a group and didn't need rivalries or fighting or injuries for that matter.

"Guy's give it a rest." Chris said, trying to break it up.

"You want some too?" Comet growled at him.

Chris backed away. "No, not really." He came and stood next to me. He probably thought I would need protecting. I doubted that I would need protecting, even if James and Comet did forget what was going on and went after one of us.

"Uh, hello...is anyon elost in there?" i waved my hand weirdly outside of the cave beoifre i finally gave up on them. There must be some kind of fight because even if they were looking at me, they did not care.

"Ms. Midori, is anyeverything alright." Lindy asked running towards me.

"I guess so..."

"what is going on inside the cave?"

"What do i now, must be some lover's quarrel..." i shrug. I'm giving them five minutes. if they do not looked at me...i'm going back to camp.

The wind wafted into the cave and with it the smell of more humans. My ear, the ones hiding underneath the ski hat, flattened against my head. I felt a growl rise in my throat but I shoved it down.

I pushed more of my mind into Comet's, trying to force a calm. It still wasn't working. Then he started to lunge. I did too, grabbing his arm.

You'll kill him, Comet. I told him, Besides, we have company.

I turned and looked at our visitors.

Comet and James were having a fight. I didn't try to break it up, mostly because Chris already had, and no it had not worked at all. I stared at them as they went for eachother, it was crazy.
"People stop." I yelled, but no one appeared to have heard me. They just went on doing what they were doing. Too bad. this was going too far, I decided the powers of air were needed here, but I quickly decided against it, as I replayed the thunderstorm I had brought, I mean, I didn't want a tornado next, did I?
That's when I noticed the people standing in front of the cave. One of them was Lindy and the other I did not recognize.

Chris

james was in for it. Well, too bad, that Comet guy has anger management issues. I went to stand by Alexis, because they both looked so angry, I wanted to be close to her, if something should happen and they would forget themselves.

Comet had lunged but his sister had pulled him back. I took my chance and punched him in the face, I felt his nose crunch in the impact.

He growled loudly and lunged again. This time he had hit me pretty hard in the shoulder, but his sister pulled him away again before he could do anything else.

"Comet. Stop. Now." she growled at him.

Comet was still steaming but he listened to her this time. We had company. I looked to see Lindy and another girl who I thought I had maybe seen on the plane standing in the opening of the cave.

It was nice to see Lindy alive again, but I hadn't forgotten how she'd decked me on the plane.

Maeve

"Hello!" I greeted Lindy and the other girl.

Lindy fell behind the other girl. She seemed frighened. That was a little different than the Lindy on the plane, but of course there had just been a fight.

"Hello." the unfamiliar girl said. "Are you lost? You're camp is at the beach isn't it?"

"No." I said. "We moved our camp here since our tents were destroyed."

Alexis

The two girls hadn't come into the cave, but stayed at the enterance as if we might attack them. I thought for a moment about my changes, and how glad I was that I hadn't run into them when I wasn't thinking straight.

I stepped a little closer to Chris. Something didn't feel right about these two. I mean, they had known about our camp and had still stayed away.

He saw Star turning to look at something new just as he was about to step in to replace Chris. He was glad, he was a bit smaller than either of them, and would've had to resort to his powers to get any kind of advantage. And after what they'd said to each other, he wasn't even sure that he could have kept them apart even with supernatural aid.

Luis looked over at the newcomers. A girl he thought he'd seen on the plane, and Lindy. "Lindy, where've you been?" Star asked.

The shorter girl shrugged, "With Miss Midori. She found me in the forest, her camp's on the beach as well. What're you guys doing here?"

"On the beach...?" Luis said, frowning in confusion, "But didn't it get attacked?"

The girl who'd been introduced as Miss Midori shook her head, "I've put traps all around it. Nothing can get close except me."

I stared at Lindy, hardly able to contain my surprise, and anger.
"You were okay, and you didn't think you should let us know? I mean, we were worried, we had a search party dispatched to look for all the lost people, we almsot got lost ourselves!!!" That slipped out, even though, I tried to keep it to myself.
Lindy stared at me, angrily:
"I didn't know you people even noticed me."
"Well, we did." I said, matching her angry tone.
"Kate, just drop it, okay? No one could think straight, after what happened."Alexis said.

"I thought about talking back to her in my anger, but I composed myself"
"You're right, sorry, I don't know what came over me."
"So are you going to join us or..?" I asked them, hoping they would, I didn't think that whatever attacked us, would be stopped by traps.

Chris

I noticed Alexis edge closer as she saw our visitors. It felt nice, to know that she trusts me, for some reason. i had grown close to Alexis over the past few days.
A short convesation took place, kate was being a bit harsh on Lindy, I thought. Alexis voiced my opinion "Kate just drop it okay,? No one could think straight after what happened."
kate agreed with her, thankfully, I didn't want another fight, especially not one that Alexis would be part of.
