What were the odds of another like him (well, in the sense that she wasn't like them) being on this island? He looked at the others around him again, wondering just how many of them weren't human. After all, he was sure this wasn't all just coincidence.

"Well, then the fire problem is settled." Someone said, "Now let's take care of the rest."

"We should go back in tomorrow." Luis said, "Since the forest'll be most dangerous at night. We might be able to find some food in there. Probably the best bet is hunting, for the time being. We don't know what's poisonous and what isn't, so unless we see any fruit we recognise, we should steer clear of it."

Well, he supposed he was going to have to come clean about things sooner or later, and now seemed as good a time as any. But first, he needed to gauge the others, once the main issues were sorted out, he'd ask how many of them weren't human.

*Okay, I think now's the time to give Kate her ability, because everyone else does cool things, and my characters are like...humanm and that's sort of boring*

We didn't have tents anymore. Which meant that we had to sleep under the stars. The weird thing is that some people pay money to do this kind of thing. We get to do it for free, which is definately looking at the bright side on things.
I fell asleep, almost instantly, even though I was starving. I was also exausted and my body needed it.I had a weird dream. It went something like this:

this old looking woman showed up and went:
" I'm your dead great great great grandma" only she said it, using different vocabulary.
I said "ok" because, when you're dreaming you hardly notice the fact that you can't actually talk to dead people. Or can you?
"Listen, Kate, there's a reason why you're on this island." She continued, her voice full of emotion.
I was like:
"Umm...yeah that would be because our plane crashed."
" Believe it or not that's not the only reason." She said, slightly smiling.
"Right. And I'm sure you know-"
"As a matter of fact I do, but it is not for me to tell you. In the meanwhile, however, you must learn your true idenity, Kate." I stared at her, waiting.
"You come from a family of powerful witches." I burst out laughing.
"You do" She said. "You have great powers, that are waiting to be unlocked. Now that you're surrounded by all of the positive aura of nature, you will be able to. You have the power to help a lot of people and save lives."
then I was like:
"Yeah. Sure. thanks, grandma, now can you get out of my head?" Becuase this little trick of imagination was getting kind of tiresome.
"Sure, just so you know, I'm not lying. I'll prove it to you. When you wake up, you'll have a red rose resting by your head. Good bye, now darling"
I woke up abruplty. Then I wished I hadn't. Becuase what stood right by me was a red rose. I let out a piercing scream that woke up the entire camp.

Chris

I had been sleeping all nicely and then that ...kate person woke the entire camp up. Needless to say no one was too pleased with her. She said she had a nightmare. God. What a baby.

Everyone had seemed to be fine with my abilities. Some people seemed a little too okay with it though. I wondered just how many of us were different too.

We had decided to wait until the morning to worry about anything else.

I slept fine until Kate screamed and woke us up, claiming she had a nightmare. I fought the urge to yell at her. I didn't want my temper to flare up this early in the morning.

James

A fire fairy. I couldn't shake it. Even as I laid in the sand trying to sleep I couldn't shake it. I would have given anything to be different like that, but I was only human.

I hadn't been able to sleep. Kate screamed at some point in the night. She had a nightmare. Luis got to her quickly to try to comfort her. I had been ready to get up but whatever.

I leaned back and stared at the stars.

Alexis

Maeve was a fire fairy. I was a werewolf. Who knew what else everyone was. I forced myself to ignore the thought.

I had fallen asleep on a pretty lonely side of the fire. I had been only sort of comfortable until Kate had a nightmare. I sat up and readjusted myself. I was never going to get any restful sleep in this place.

Suprisingly Chris came over and sat close to me.

"It really sucks that Kate woke us all up doesn't it?" he asked.

"Yeah." I said sleepily. I didn't have to worry about my wolf-self coming out anymore. Being active in my transformations made it easier to cope with and this island seemed to ease the discomfort now too.

I akwardly rested my head on Chris' shoulder. "I'm tired." I said. I felt stupid right after I said it. I was never the type of girl to go weird over a guy. But Chris was...nice.

"Just when I got some sleep for the first time in who knows how freaking long." Comet grumbled, sitting up. I sighed. We'd had nightmares too, though we had to train ourselves from screaming because of them.

Comet caught my thoughts and glared at me. He always hates it when people other than him are right. Which is most of the time.

"I suggest you shut up."

"I didn't say a word." I said innocently. He punched me in the shoulder, smiling.

I looked up. We didn't like sleeping in the tent, so we were sleeping under the stars. And there were so many of them; my namesake.

"I don't think I'll be sleeping." I put my head on his shoulder as I often did.

Needless to say, after that I could not go to sleep. Oh, I tried. Because I hoped that if I went to sleep I would forget about the whole rose thing. Only, I couldn't. Because let's face it, it's not every night your dead great great great grandma tells you, you're a "powerful witch" and then leaves a red rose by you.
No one was asleep, thanks to me. A Few people DID manage to fall asleep, thankfully the rest were too tired to notice me slipping away. I needed to be alone. I needed to see what these "powers" were all about. She said something about unlokcing them. I figured the best place to unlock witch powers is at night, all alone, somewhere in the jungle.
It wasn't as scary walking in the forest at night. I figured if something did attack me, I could use those "powers" I had to fight it off. And even if I did die, that wouldn't be much of a loss, I mean who's going to miss me? My mom who hates me so much she sent me to a boarding school so she doesn't have to see me? Or my dad, who only sees me once a year?
By the time I reached a nice spot in the forest where I could try unleashing my so called "powers", it was almost dawn.
I sat on the green mat and waited for something to happen. She had said being surrounded by all this nature would help me unlock my powers. I sat and waited, and still nothing happened. I didn't even feel like I had any powers, all I felt was thirst and hunger.
After a few minutes, I decided this is absolutely pointless. I got up and decided to go back, we had to find water, today, otherwise we would be completely dehydrated.
That's when I heard water flowing, somewhere. It wasn't normal, it's true, to hear things like that, especially when it turned out, when I followed the lead of the water, that it was too far for anyone normal to hear. Was this an example of my witch powers? Or was it just a coincidence? I didn't know, but at least when I came back, and found most people up already, I had good news.

"People, our water problem has been solved." I said.

Chris

I couldn't go back to sleep, so I went to sit by Alexis, who couldn't either.
We talked for a while and then she rested her head on my shoulder. I was a little startled at first, but it felt kind of nice.
.
"I'm tired," She mumbled.

Yeah, so was I, and so was everyone who had been woken up by Kate, and that's pretty much everyone. I noticed her slipping away, but didn't say anything. I was too ried t , myself.
Alexis fell asleep, shortly after that, and so did I. I felt more comfortable when I was close to her, I guess.
We didn't wake up, until later, that's when kate showed up, making me wonder what has she been doing al night away from what was left of our camp.
That's when she announced our water problem had been solved. Which was good, because everyone must've felt dehydrated by now.

someone shouted and i open my half close eyes in idsgust. I just want take some rest for crying out loud. I do not care is there is some creature within us. I have met one and it was not a pretty thing.

The girl whom i found lay by my feet. Her sides were bandaged and she was peacefully sleeping besides Linda. I do not know her name by i ought to call her, "Amamori".

I woke up still leaning against Chris. I blushed a little and sat up. Luckily Kate was shouting someting about finding water so it distracted everyone.

I sat and listened to everyone discuss the magical wonders of water. I wasn't as excited, I mean for heavens sake we were surroundd by water.

They decided to go into the jungle, I didn't really want to go but Chris grabbed my arm excitedly and dragged me along. I was getting too close to this boy, but I couldn't help but smile to myself.

James

Water. There was fresh water.

I ran up to Kate. "Where did you find the water?" I asked.

"Back in the jungle. I can take everyone there." she explained.

At the mention of being in the jungle some people started to lose excitement. We weren't exactly friends with the jungle at this point.

"Take us." I decided for everyone. We would all feel better once we had water anyways.

Maeve

Kate lead us all into the jungle. Suprisingly I, and everyone else, followed. The jungle had been cruel to us, it destroyed our camp. But water sounded magnificant right now.

We all pushed our way into the jungle, following Kate all the way.

I didn't know how, but I seemed to know the way, without even having to think about it. I soon reached the small lake full of fresh water, that I had discovered, and into it, a river emptied, I guessed from somwehere farther up.
Everyone drank, of course, because we hadn't had anyw water for nearly two days. It felt good. It was nice that no one asked how I had found it, because I wasn't sure my lie about "accidentaly finding it, while I had been looking for something to eat" woul really work. I mean, it was pretty far from the camp site. I wasn't prepared to tell them the truth either, mainly because I wasn't sure what the truth was at this point, and also because, let's face it, no one really likes witches, I mean they're always the bad guys in all those fairy tales. I don't want people ignoring me, and trying ot keep away from me, or whatever. Especially not some more special people.

Chris

I made Alexis come with me, even though she didn't see anything so great about water.
"What do you mean,it's FRESH water!!! As in water we can actually drink! Alexis, c'mon, please!" I dragged her along, even though she grumbled. She's so cute, when she's annoyed.
We reached the tiny lake, and everyone drank. Even Alexis. I smiled slightly to myself.
After we were done, someone asked.
"So what's on the agenda, today people?"
Yeah, being stranded on an island took a lot of hard work. Fortunately, there were people like Alexis that made the hard work fun, well when she was around, that is.

The water was fantastic.

"So what's o the agenda today people?" someone asked.

"I vote for a swim." I said while pulling my shirt off. I kicked off my shoes and dove into the lake. It felt amazing. "Come on!" I yelled for everyone else to join.

A swim certainly sounded good right now. He didn't know how Kate had managed to find the water, and honestly he didn't care right now. What mattered was that she had found it, and what had been potentially their biggest problem had now been solved. Besides, she could have her secrets. He certainly had his.

He considered going back to the camp, getting his swimmers from his bag. But he decided against it. After all, he had a change of clothes, and he didn't think the monsters, or whatever had attacked the camp, would bother stealing their clothes.

Luis did the same as James after another moment of thought, throwing himself into the water. There, it was easy to forget most of what had happened to them. Everything was too peaceful, too light-hearted, to think about everything terrible that had happened so far. Maybe things were taking a turn for the better.

it took us three hours to go through the thick jungle but it was finally paid off.

My clotehs were dirty and my skins were prickly dry from swimming in the sea. I really need to have a real bath and now i can get it. The hot springs was before us. It was a small pool able to fit three people in maximum. By the way it looks there must be some geotehrmal activity beneath this island.

Lindy was behind me carrying my backpack while i held my weapons close to me with a dagger i handed over to Lindy just for her self defence. Amamori was still sleeping by the camp. Despite on hwta had happened last night, she is safe and sound.

"That solves our water problem then, Ms. Midori, we can drink pure water." Lindy exclaimed to our discovery.

"Drinking? This water is not for drinking. I found a river close nearby."

"then what will we do with this? It is pure water..."

"Right and i know the best thing to do with it." i said as i began taking my clothes off.

"Ms. Midori what are you doing???" Lindy exclaimed in surprise as if she never saw another woman naked.

"I am taking abath, Lindy, what else...AFfer the plane crash, i really need a bath. Geisha do need to take a bath and look modest right??"

I went inside and for the first, my body screamed in relaxation. Finally,a real bathe... I stared at Lindy who was still standing embarrased before me.

"Come on, Lindy, get on here...the water is fine." i say with a grin while holding my weaponds by the rocks. Even with this kind of pleasure, i must not let my guard down.

I really wanted to join them, only I'd never been much of a swimmer, and I didn't want to embarass myself in front of all these people.

"C'mon people, what are you waiting for. " Someone yelled at all of us, people that hadn't gone in.

Most of them, did go in eventually, with their clothes on, too. I was torn between going in and staying dry, but that descision was quickly taken for me, as someone jumped in with such a splash, that everyone who was on land became soaking wet. I went in, and I admit, it was fun. But, soon everyone realized how hungry they were.

"Right, we need to find food." Someone, it souned like James, said: "I'm starving."

I wondered whether I would be able to find food, as easily as I found water. Nothing happened, though. I didn't feel the way I did when I found the lake, well I guess, we'd have to use whatever else we could to find food.
We set off, at what appeared to be noon, the sun was beating on us, and as soon as we had dried off, it became almost impossible to walk in such heat, it was boiling hot, and we would soon get a sunstroke. If only there was at least, a light breeze to cool us off...
Next thing I knew, a light breeze did appear, and it did cool us off. That was freaky, was that what she meant about me being super powerful?
I tried again "If only a boat would come by and rescue us." I waited. Nothing happened. Well, I guess my powers do have some limits, then.

Chris

The sun was beating down on us as we searched for food. The swim had been good, but as soon as we dried off, the heat became almost impossible. It would've been that way, were it not for a light breexe appearing out from the nowhere to cool us off.
"Are you ok?" I asked Alexis, as I looked over at her, she seemed to be falling behind, for some reason.

The sun was becoming unbearable, when a light breeze picked up, seemingly out of nowhere. Unexpected, yes, but not unpleasant. Maybe the jungle wasn't so bad after all. Or...he supposed it could have been one of the others.

He looked around. How many of them...? If only one of them had a way of finding some food.

He'd decided against just throwing up what he was since the night before. Luis had remembered why he hadn't said it earlier. It wasn't likely to get the best reaction out of anyone.

the bathe was so much better than the open sea. Even with the heat, the coolness of the jungle was amazing.
I stretched my arms and let my body be soak...i just hope that no pervs would find us. I wanted to stya here for hours.

Lindy was opposite me bathing her head. SHe was still a little embarass being naked with another woman but i did not mind. I smply closed my eyes and wait for my body to smoothen.

"Ms. Midori," she asked as i open one of my eyes. "If you're a geisha to what you said, then can i can ask...how did you know all these things?"

"What made you ask me that?"

"well, where you trained is urban right? So how come you know many things about survival?" i thought about that for a while looking at her before i changed my sights around me. Our clothes were still there and there is no signs of pervs around us.

"I was in a battle-royale once," i replied

"a battle?"

"Yeah? there were about eleven of us and we have to kill each other in a gigantic valley or jungle. So you know, i had to survive?"

Lindy pause for a while trying to put the information on her head.

"But let us not talk into this okay?" i ordered her, "The battle-royale was unbearable for me and lucky that i survive it. I'll tell you it soon but for now..." i sighed as i streched my legs, "let us enjoy this warm fresh water while we still at it?"

We needed food, and really shelter for that matter.

"So does anyone know anything about surviving in the jungle?" I asked. No one responded.

"That's why were on this trip." Comet muttered.

I glared at him. "Hey man, we don't need that sort of attitude."

"Oh really?" he approached me. "Do you want to do something about it?"

"We don't need any fighting." his sister, Star stepped between us. I quickly calmed down, she had that sort of calm vibe about her.

An idea suddenly came to me. I remembered back to when we had been in the lake, there had been mountains on the other side, with what had seemed to be caves in them. "Hey did anyone notice the mountains near that lake?" I asked. "There seemed to be caves in them."

Alexis

"Are you okay?" Chris had asked. I really wasn't. I was extrememly tired and hungry. I felt like changing and hunting, but that wasn't a very good idea while close to the group.

"I'm fine." I lied.

I listened in to the others conversation. James was talking about the caves in the mountains.

"I saw those." I told him.

"Good." he smiled. "And we need some sort of a shelter since our tents aren't going to be doing any good.

The group seemed to be considering it. We already figured out where water was, Maeve had fire, and now we could have a shelter. All we would need then would be food. I hoped everyone decided that the caves sounded like a good idea.
