"Well the good news is that we found you..and the bad news is that we're lost, too." I said, trying to ignore comet as he muttered "Helpful" under his breath. James glared at him.

"So what do we do now?' Star asked.

"We try to find the way back. Wherever we are, theres a fire, if we find the smoke we'll find the campsite." James said.

We set off, after a while.

~Comet~

Can't we just leave 'em to die? I asked Star. People and me didn't mix well, which was why we want to 'accidentally' get lost in the Canadian wilderness in the first place. Everyone betrayed us and it was high time we got them out of the equation.

No, Comet. Now help me sniff out that fire. Sisters...no, girls in general. Too sensitive.

I did as she asked, though; I had a better sense of smell and found the fire quickly.

"That way." I said, pointing. Star smirked a bit-she'd won.

Surprisingly, to my astonishment, Star was right. In about fifteen minutes we were safe by the campsite, where meave explained that Alexis had gone into the forest to look for more wood, because the fire went out.

"You let her go, ALONE?!' I asked, appaled. how could she do that? Alexis was all alone, in there, so many people got lost.

"Cool it, man." James said, through gritted teeth.

I ran into the forest screaming out her name. I was really worried for her.

James and Chris finally made it back with Star and Comet, but kind of freaked out when they found Alexis had gone into the fire.

"Welcome to camp." I said to Comet and Star with a smile after Chris had run off to find Alexis.

"Thank you." Star said kindly.

"Not much of a camp." Comet said under his breath. He thought I didn't hear, but fairy's have notoriously good hearing.

"Like you could do any better.' I muttered and crossed my arms.

I tried not to think about it much though, he was just a dumb boy, and his sister was nice and James was nice so I had good company.

James

"Chris get back here!" I yelled after him, but he ran back into the woods alone. "Stupid." I muttered to myself.

I sat down on a log and watched the dead fire.

Alexis

"Alexis! Alexis where are you!" I heard Chris call.

I snarled at the sound of his voice and faced where it had come from. No Alexis, it's Chris, it's your friend. I yelled in my head.

I couldn't help it though, my senses were different like this. But I couldn't hurt him or let him see me like this. No one else could know I was a werewolf.

I forced myself to run from his voice until I could change myself back.

Johanne

Exhausted, that was me. My sleep was disturbed by someone. I could see our hear well. Someone grab me up.
Now it's even better, I will just probably rote in a random cave...
I was too tired to think. My senses were down. I couldn't feel nothing.

she screamed and i was lucky that she did. The tip of my arrow was touching her bare neck. SHe glared at me with a very plae face before i pulled back my arrow to the rest. It was not my fault. She surprised me and i only acted in self defense

"You nearly...killed me," that was all she said but i shrug. I gather my bag filled with fruits, a dead bird, three rabbits and more branches to be made for arrows or even a spear.

"Hey wait!" she shouted

"What are you doing ehre alone in the forest. I could have killed you if you move one more step."
i exclaimed.

"I got lost...that is all..." she said rubbing hthe back of her neck. I sighed.

"What is your name?"

"Uh...Lindy..."

"Say lindy, where is your group?"

"i don't know, i got lost. I told you that already. What about you where is your group?"

"I don't have one, i worked alone. Hey don't look at me becasue i am a girl. I can defend myself very well. I made these arrows you know. They can kill anyone in a single strike." i say as i waited for her to speak.

"Say, you could come with me for a while. I'll be out of this place soon anyway. After that i'll bring you back to your camp."

She nodded weakly and i sighed again in relief and began walking deeper with her closely behind me.

He lowered Johanne back down onto her rock, sitting down beside her as Kate disappeared off into the forest. Fifteen minutes, she'd said. Luis didn't know what he was going to do if she wasn't back after that long. He couldn't just leave Johanne here, after all.

To his surprise, his cousin sat down beside him after a couple of minutes. She must have just popped up behind me then. He thought.

"What're you doing here?" He hissed at her, "Can't you see her?" He pointed at Johanne.

Camille waved a hand dismissively, "You've got time, and she's still more or less unconscious. I don't think she'll know I'm here. And that girl won't be back for a while yet, will she?" His cousin's lips curled into a smirk, her half-mask not covering it, "What's going on between you two, anyway? Do I detect a hint of affection for her?"

Luis folded his arms and looked away, trying to ignore her comment. "If you don't have an important message from the family or something, or some word of advice for me, I'm not interested in anything you have to say."

"Alright then," Camille said, standing up and folding her arms, "How about this - don't get mixed up with a human girl. It doesn't turn out well."

Luis waved her off, and her harsh look softened a little, "I'm worried about you, little cousin." she said, "I'm older than you, remember, and you didn't see what happened last time we let a mortal into the bar." She patted his shoulder affectionately, "Just listen to me, for once, okay? Don't get involved with a human."

She vanished with those words, leaving him hoping that Johanne was asleep, and that Kate wasn't close enough to have heard. He shook his head a little, That was careless of her.

I tried to find a place where maybe, I would be able to see the fire from. I had said fifteen minutes, but I wasn't sure anymore if I would be able to keep to that time frame. I had to find the fire. Or at least the smoke coming from it. I wondered if may be it had gone off, and that's why we couldn't find it.
I walked and walked trying to look for hints of smoke, and I saw a couple of things that resembled it, but it was all fake. This was hopeless.
I decided to go back, it had definately been more than fifteen minutes
. That was tricky, considering I had forgotten much of the way, but sooner than later, I made my way back to them.

"I've had zero luck." I called to Luis.

Chris

There was no sign of Alexis. I went back to the camp, hoping she had already returned. She hadn't. It had been a long time, since I'd left. Someone else had brought some dry sticks and James and Meave were trying to start the fire, again. I waited, impatiently, for Alexis's return.

I grew tired of waiting for Alexis and it was dangerous to go without the signal fire so I just went and found some wood anyways. To my suprise Comet came along.

"Hey, you gonna be helpful for once?" I asked.

"Shut up." he growled. "my sister made me."

We quickly gathered some small sticks we could find on the edge of the jungle and brought them back. Maeve helped me to start the fire again.

Chris had finally come back, without Alexis. I had to admit it did worry me a bit that she was out there alone.

Alexis

Chris' calls stopped. I relaxed a little and kept running, it felt good to be this way again. I hadn't been able to change in New York City.

I decided it might be a good idea to change back and find some wood. An arrow suddenly flew past me. I caught the scent of two creatures.

"How could I miss?!" a voice yelled.

"It moved." a voice I recognized to be Lindy's, I think, smirked.

They were coming towards me, I quickly changed back.

"Oh my god, you were shooting at a human!" Lindy said once she saw me.

"I was not, I was clearly shooting at a large grey wolf." the other insisted.

"Well obviously not." Lindy said, pointing at me.

I stood there while they argued over what had been there. I just hoped they wouldn't draw the correct conclusion.

It was a long while before he heard Kate calling back to him again. That was reassuring, in its own way. Sure he'd been starting to worry, had been about to get up and go looking for her, but at least this meant that she didn't know he wasn't human. If she'd heard anythig his cousin had said, if she'd even seen Camille, he would have had some awkward questions to answer.

As things stood, she hadn't seen her, and Johanne still appeared to be asleep. Kate had been right, Johanne must have really worn herself out the night before. Either that, or she'd heard or seen something - like a girl wearingsomething resembling half a skull on her face - and decided to feign sleep for a little while longer. Luis couldn't tell, but he had a feeling she was truly asleep, and his other conclusion was just his paranoia kicking in.

"I've had zero luck." Kate repeated, stepping over to the rock and sitting down beaside Johanne and he.

Luis thought about it for a few moments. "Well, as I see it, we've got two options then. One, we just wait here and hope we can get another sign of the smoke. Two, we pick a direction, walk that way, and hope we get to the beach before nightfall."

"Why specifically before nightfall?" Kate asked.

"Just something about this forest, you know?" Luis replied, "I got a bad feeling about it last night, and I don't want to get caught this far in with no idea of which way to go. Besides, what if she tired herself of running from something?"

I nodded slightly, as I got up.
"Well, we'd better get going, then." I said. Then I looked at Luis who picked Jhoanne up, awkwardly and I remembered I noticed he had some trouble with that. I had no idea how to ask him if I could help out with Jhoanne without hurting his ego.
"Er..I noticed, that maybe, she's a bit heavy, for only one person to carry for such a long time...so I thought...umm..you know, I could help...somehow...you know, we could carry her ,together. She should come around soon."
I glance up ,hoping I hadn't sounded like a complete idiot and that he wasn't hurt by what I said, a lot of guys would, if you implied that they weren't strong enough.

We sat by the newly restarted fire for a long time. I hoped Luis and Kate were okay, they should be finding us better since we built the fire so high.

"This fire should make a good signal." Star commented when James and Comet added a few more logs.

Comet didn't seem to be adjusting well though, I hadn't really tried to make an effort though, he was pretty rude.

"Do you think maybe we should go look for Alexis, Luis, and Kate?" I asked after a while.

"I think we should go look for Alexis again." Chris said quietly, then added "Luis and Kate are together anyways, that's safer than being alone."

"We'll have better luck if we stay here." James stated. "We don't need more people getting lost."

I looked out at the sea, the sun was getting low. It would be dark again soon. I hugged my knees to my chest and shivered. This island creeped me out at night.

i stop by as i heard something close me. It sounded like a predator. I held tight my weapon that was on my shoulder as Lindy went out of a bush.

"Do i really have to carry this?" her face was pale

"Why?"

"I never like dead thing sespeccialy dead birds. And looked at this its scarring me." she complained

"Then what will i do? i am already filled here."

"can't we at least go back...every time this bird touch me, its just disgusting."

I looked at her for a while before i finally sighed. I held my weapon closed to my chest and nodded,

"Sure..."

"what will you do with the animals?"

"eat them of course? i'm going to have a real dinner tonight."

she nodded and i thought she wanted to come to my dinner. as she left, i followed but only after i took another look. I am surely going to come back here again after i made a new weapon.

Kate's offer was a helpful one, that was for sure. He was thinking of accepting it, too, since they might have a long walk back to the camp. But then, as he took one final look at the skies, he saw a telltale plume of smoke rising in the distance. Well, that was a welcome sight. He smiled at Kate, "Thanks for the offer, I appreciate it, but I think I can make it back to camp with her."

Kate looked confused for a moment, and Luis pointed towards the rising smoke. She too
seemed thankful for the small mercy.

Luis was still worried, though. The sun was starting to set, and they still had a way to walk before they'd reach camp again. And having to carry Johanne as well was going to slow them
down.

As he lifted her up again, though, she stirred, muttering something groggily. "You're awake?" Kate said, "Can you walk? We need to get back to camp as quickly as possible."

Luis had not accepted my offer, which was you know, just what I expected, what with him being a guy and all, still I was sort of confused until he pointed towards the smoke that was coming from somewhere far.
It was still a long way to go but, thankfully Jhoanne had woken up, and was now walking with us, although we tried to support her as much as we could. I looked at the sky, the sun had almost set. An eerie sort of emotion filled my chest. I didn't like the look of the almost dark sky, and the darker looking jungle stretching in front of us.

Chris

By now, I was really worried. Mostly about Alexis, I had to admit, I didn't really care about the other lost people. Alexis was all alone, though.

Almost twicee, until now, I had considered taking off again, but what good would that do? It was almost dark and I probably wouldn;t find her. But then there was this other feeling that gripped me. Worry for Alexis.

I decided to take off, again, I had walked a long way, I had almost lost sight of the camp, when James suddenly yelled.

"Chris, c'mon, give us a break, we've been trying to get everyone here all day, and now we've got so many people out in the woods, we don't need another one."

he walked towards me and lowered his voice.
"Alexis will be fine, if that's who you're worried about. She's strong enough to defend herself." I didn't reply. Mostly because I didn't think so. How could one person, all alone, defend themselves from the jungle at night. Anything could happen.
