I can see something happening at the otehr part wher ethe survivors are staying. I looked while sitting on a log over a fire whith two pieces of fishes i caught. I was happy that my weapons were working.

I do not know why i am not there with them but i liked when i like it when i am alone. It felt better and the chances of my survival is great. I just hope that no one would see the smoke from my fire.

I am not cold hearted but i just want some time by myself and think of what just happened. I am not yet prepared to move on or talk to them. I might do it tomorrow.but for now, i just place the necklace my danna gave me on my lap as i satisfy my hunger.

Well, things didn't seem to be turning out to well for him. He'd never needed to know any of this kind of stuff. His entire life up until now had been city-bound, and so he had zero experience in groups like the Scouts.

"Well, I guess we could try building a raft or something." He sighed, "But that probably wouldn't work, actually. We'd run out of food and drinking water before we came anywhere near land."

Luis shook his head, “So we’re going to either have to wait to get rescued, or find some way of sending a message out to someone.” Which I should be able to do without too much trouble…but I can’t just say that, can I? And besides, let my family worry about me for a while, it’ll do them good to find out they can’t just play with human lives.

He shrugged and grinned at Kate, “But you know, maybe it’ll be good on this island for a while. After all, we are meant to be on a camp."

I looked through the bags to see what provisions we had. Some bottled water (that wouldn't last), a radio but no batteries (excellent) and... oh my goodness.

"Hey someone!" I screamed. Some of the others ran back to see what I had cradled in my hand.

"What is it?" Johanne asked. I opened my hand and stared wide eyed at it.

"It's a lighter," I said breathlessly.
"Oh please don't tell me you're archaeologists."

"Do you have a problem with archaeologists?"

I stared at him. A raft. Yeah.
Then he said we'd have to wait to get rescued or sent a message.
"Like a message in a bottle? You know that probably won't be much of a succes."- I sighed.
He smiled and then added:

"But you know, maybe it’ll be good on this island for a while. After all, we are meant to be on a camp."

"How can you even SAY that? We're stuck on an island in the middle of the ocean, we have scarce provisions, that probably won't last over a week, most of us know NOTHING about surviving. All of the adults died and now we're all alone and they're DEAD,ok ?"- I looked at him bewildered.

"Chill, I was just trying to look on the bright side of things."- He said.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. It's just that...sometimes there is no bright side of things."- I looked up and saw all our fellow campers setting up. - "Well I guess we're here, now."

He sighed, starting to set up a tent. Well, that hadn't gone down to well. Granted, it had been inconsiderate to forget how many people had died. But then, he had been fairly desensitised to death by what his father did for a living. The old man's real job, rather than just an undertaker like he'd told Kate.

Once he'd finished his tent, he stood up and looked about. Other people were still working on theirs. He started walking towards the forest, jamming his hands into the pockets of his jacket. Luis was determined to find something positive about being there.

"Hey, where're you going?" Chris called out to him.

"Just for a walk." Luis replied, "Don't worry, I can take care of myself."

He was about a hundred metres into the jungle, and certain that he was alone, when the air began to act strangely beside him. It swirled about, a mistiness spinning down and seeming to piece a figure together, wearing a skull-like mask over half her face.

"Show off." He muttered. That was one trick he'd never managed to pick up, whilst all his cousins could pull it off without any apparent difficulty.

"Oh come on, little cousin." She said, "Your daddy's getting worried about you, you've been consciously blocking him out!" Camille Carrefour sighed, "You're really not being fair on the rest of us, these things happen, okay?" She rolled her eyes, "How're you ever going to work with the rest of us when you're still this squeamish? Anyone would think you'd never seen a corpse before!"

Johanne took the lighter and stared at it. "This is wonderful! We can send smoke signals and get saved!"

James then took it. "We're not going to die! I'll keep it for now."

Johanne didn't look like she liked that idea and took the lighter back. "No, I'll keep it. It'll be safe with me." Soon everyone who had come were fighting on who should get the lighter. I glared and snatched the lighter from Johanne.

"I found the lighter, I'll keep it! Now stop fighting before you break it!"
"Oh please don't tell me you're archaeologists."

I put up my tent, with a little hardships. Survival things bugged me. I didn't feel well enought to go join the others, they had all gathered around the things they managed to save trying to find useful things. Someone had found a lighter and now everyone was excited. Whoope. A lighter. THAT will get us off this place. I stared into the horizon as the sun started setting.

I looked over at the jungle and saw Luis going in. Well he could enjoy the "good" things on this island, like he'd put it. Pretend he's at camp. Whatever. I stood up and joined the others.

After a while, everyone had gathered around a small fire someone had lighted, using the lighter. It was almost dark, now and Luis wasn't back yet. I got worried, because no matter how shallow his reply was, he was still the nicest person I'd met here.

I walked into the jungle, the way he had. No one else noticed. I wondered if I'd find him, but I figured it was time to return the favor.

I wasn't stupid, I had walked only straight ahead, making signs out of rocks every once in a while.

"LUIS!."- I yelled out. No answer. Of course. That always happened right before they killed the heroine in horror movies. I walked farther in and heard him. I ran the rest of the way and I saw him standing( completely safe)

"Who were you talking to?'I asked.

Chris:

It was nightfall and we were missing two of the people that had been here. Kate and Luis. I had seen Kate leave, but I thought she would return. They were still gone. I decided I;d wait a little before they came and then tell on them.

I walked to that guy, James and sat by him.
"hey."- I said.

“If dad’s so worried about me, he can come and get the lot of us out of here himself.” He said, sitting down on a log and folding his arms.

Camille rolled her eyes, it looked fairly sinister through the sockets of her skull mask. She sat down next to him. “That’s not how it’s going to work, Luis. The old man didn’t plan all this out himself, so he doesn’t have that authority.”

“What do you mean?” Luis asked.

Camille started, standing straight up, “Someone’s coming, I’d better go.” She looked down at him, “I’d rather you stay out of the forest at night here, as well.”

“Wait, what?” Luis said, standing up as well. But the air swirled about her again, and then she was gone.

Kate appeared a second later, brushing a spider web away from her face. “Who were you talking to?”

“No one.” Luis said, probably a little too quickly, “Just thinking out loud.” She hasn’t come out just to tell me off again, has she?

And I'd actually been worried. For no reason as it turns out. Good.
"Yeah okay,I just thought I'd come and see if you were fine, 'cause you didn't...well never mind you're fine now and I'd better go, you can come too. Unless you'd rather stay here which is totally cool with me...yeah."

Okay, so I was blabbing, that always happened when I didn't know what to say. I should really learn to keep my mouth shut. I should also stop following people around just because they were gone for longer than usual. He probably thought I was stalking him. I turned on my heel and headed back...

Ive got Maeve

Alexis

Chris had helped me put up the tent. It felt a little nice to do something productive with someone who had a rather positive attitude.

It was getting dark though and the tents didn't provide much comfort or safety, at least not for me or anyone else concerned.

I looked to the sky, I felt sick to my stomach.

"I've got to go." I said quickly. I started off into the jungle.

"Where are you going?" chris shouted after me. "Why is everyone leaving the camp!?"

I ran into the woods, feeling sicker and sicker as I went. I ran as far away from the group as I could.

James

I sat around a small fire started with the lighter we all fought over. Chris, Johanne, Maeve, and a few others sat around the fire with me. We had lost four or five other campers, I had no clue where they went.

"So we should maybe try to build a shelter or signal or something." I suggested.

"Probably." Chris agreed.

"Well we can't do much about it now." Johanne stated. "It's dark and we have tents for tonight, we'll organize tomorrow when everyone can be gathered."

I stared into the flames. Yeah, tomorrow, if we make it through the night.

Maeve

I sat staring into the fire, listening to the group talking about surviving. I could only concentrate on the burning pain in my head.

Almost half of our group had run off, I hoped they would be alright.

The pain in my head burned. "I need to sleep." I said.

I got up and went to one of the tents, zipping it up once I was inside. I wrapped myself in a sleeping bag and tried to wish this whole miserable experience away.

Alexis had left and I had no idea why. She was probably sick of hanging around me or something. I stared at the woods as she left, and then joined the others.
We started talking about survival stuff. Everyone seemed to be scared and there was a certain heavy atmosphere in the air.

I went to bed early that night. I hoped that Alexis and the others would be fine.

He blinked a few times as he watched her retreat back towards the beach. To think, he'd actually though he was the one with a reason to worry about conversation at the time. After all, he'd very nearly been caught with a link back to the real world.

What had happened to her being mad at him, though? He shrugged to himself, either way, things were better with her not being angry.

He set off after her, jogging a little through the undergrowth to catch up. He could almost see the beach, and the soft red glow of a fire half-illuminated the darkness of the jungle.

"Hey," Luis said as he caught up with Kate.

"Hm?" She replied, apparently trying not to babble again.

"I'm...sorry about what I said before." He said, "I wasn't thinking, I guess I was a bit muddled by the crash."

He apoligized for what he had said. I turned towards him, surprised. Guys hated apoligizing for things. They thought it wasn't "cool". Not this one, though.
"Yeah, it's fine, really. I mean, sometimes we say things we don't mean." I said, as I walked towards the beach.

"So you're not mad at me, anymore?" He asked looking doubtful.

"I wasn't mad at you." I lied. "I just had a lot on my mind."

"Sure." He muttered, sarcastically.

"I mean it. Anyway, we'd better hurry, the others must be getting worried."

We kept on walking, silently. Silence bothered me. Well not really. But right now it did. It was creepy, in the jungle, when it was so quiet. I was so thankful when he finally broke the silence.

Maeve had already gone to bed, I was still a little worried about her.

"Hey are you guys going to be okay tonight?" I asked the group.

Everyone seemed to be okay.

"I don't think Alexis or anyone else who isn't with us will be okay.." Chris commented from across the fire.

"Well we are going to have to wait until tomorrow to go find anyone." I said.

"Whatever happened to the twins?" Johanne asked.

I had no clue, it didn't look like anyone else did either.

A rustling came from the jungle nearby.

* I walked across the shoreline watching the setting sun falling over the horizon. My luggage is safe by my camp. No one would go there or even find it for kept it well hidden. I held my weapon close to my chest as I walk the shore letting my feet touch the gentle waters.
I felt a little guilty for not helping the others by the base but they can do it without me. They are safety in numbers anyway while I only have my bow and arrow as my protection.
I was able to reach the end of my tramping and found myself staring at a large rock formation. It did not bother me. I climbed it and found myself staring at the open sea with numerous fishes below me. My stomach was getting to get hungry again. Good thing for me that I can cook I took a number of threads from my skirt and tie the knot around my arrow and pick my target.
But as I was about to do it, there is something that caught my eye.
