I don't want to die. No matter what I told the counselors and other kids, I didn't want to die. What about Mom? I can't just leave her!

God, please if we are going down, save us. Let us live please!

"God, please," I whispered and hung on to the seat in front of me. I felt like my body wanted to sit on the roof of the airplane, but by seatbelt wouldn't let it. Everyone was screaming and then a sudden jolt sent me flying forward.
"Oh please don't tell me you're archaeologists."

"Do you have a problem with archaeologists?"

"I'm a time traveler. I laugh at archaeologists."

...crash crash crash...

We were crashing, CRASHING! We were going to die.

crash crash crash

I gripped the arm rests on my seat and squeezed my eyes shut. If I didn't think about it maybe it wouldn't hurt so bad.

crash crash crash

I could only think about crashing, crashing and death. We were doomed, we would all die.

James

The last thing I heard before the sudden drop was an announcement by the captain that our engines were blown and we were going down.

I looked at Johanne, she was bracing herself on the seat in front of her.

"You may want to brace yourself for impact." she suggested.

I copied her. "You've been through this before?" I asked.

"No, but I know what to do in emergency situations." she explained.

"Huh, so no panic?" I asked.

She looked at me, and I could see nothing but panic in her eyes.

"You tell me." she said, knowing i'd just seen it.

I tried to hold myself together, the panic was inside me but nothing could come from panicing. The terrified screams of the other passangers beat against my ears. I had to hold myself together.

Down the plane went.

He was gritting his teeth, desperately trying to bring his father's voice to mind. His hands still clutched the arm rests, and he knew it would probably hurt when he was thrown forward into the seat in front of him, but it wouldn't kill him.

God damn you, dad. Why are you doing this? Still no answer.

Then, almost cryptically, he heard his uncle. Don't worry, Luis. Not one of you kids is going to die here.

That calmed him only a little. They were still going to crash. As he came back to the real world, he heard the cough and sputter of the engines as they tried to start again, and the scream of wind past the plane as it corkscrewed downwards. An oxygen mask hung in front of his face, bright yellow, seeming to mock him somehow.

He looked at Kate, seeing her doubled over in her seat, hands over her ears. Others were panicking and screaming in the plane. He himself was almost hyperventilating.

He felt the strain his body was placing on the seatbelt lessen slightly and the pilot managed to pull the nose of the plane up slightly. He looked out the window and saw - to his surprise - trees rushing towards them below them. Where are we?!

In the distance, the blue of the ocean was visible. That was where the pilot was heading. Could he make it? A landing on water would be safer.

But the plane wasn't pulling up fast enough, and metal plates were being shorn away from the wing by the speed. Almost mercifully, one of the engines spun away. He saw it snapping trees apart in its path, before a distant explosion lit the side of the plane as the fuel inside it ignited.

By some bizarre fluke, every one of the teenagers was in a position where they wouldn't be killed when the plane slammed into the island sand. The whole aircraft shook, one wing crushing up and through the wall just in front of Luis and Kate. Luis lost all perspective of what was happening around him as he was snapped about in his seat. His face slammed into the seat in front of him, and he came away with a bloody nose and a black eye, only semi-conscious as the plane was coming to rest.

The intercom crackled with static, and Luis could only wonder why the pilot wasn't speaking any more. If he had been capable of looking, he would have found that the front of the plane had been punched inwards with vengeful force by the island, the pilot and co-pilot killed where they sat, the controls completely ruined.

Nothing was clear, especially not after I bumped into the seat in front of me which such force that blood came gushing from my forhead, after that I did not wake up until later.

Chris

The island from my vision is exactly what I saw. I was too busy staring out the window to notice the final push of the airplane which cut into my hand sp hard, I could do nothing but clutch it,because I was bleeding so much.

Lindy seemed to be in shock, She seemed unconscious, she might've been for all I know.

I opened my eyes and realised that the plane had stopped falling, but now water was leaking in from all sides. I ran to the the adult in charge and tugged on her arm. He fae turned to me and I gasped. She was dead.

I looked at the boy next to her. "We have to get out of here!"

I looked around hoping for an escape exit. Anything. The door creaked and there was light from a peaking through a crack. During the impact, the airplane door must have broken open.

I have to admit. I felt a tad bit of disappointment when I found out I was still alive.

Everyone else was screaming and staring to panic while I just sat there looking at myself.

My "adventure" had changed. I went from being in my Dante's Inferno of a home to the airport where I was going to Canada to now, a crashed plane.

With strangers.

I looked around to see if anyone was hurt. Everyone seemed fine except for the adults.

Go figure.

While everyone else was fretting, I slipped through the plane door which cracked open.

On second thought, this might be a lot of fun.

We were on an island.

I saw a boy go out of the busted door and was about to save my own skin as well, but then I looked back. I usually try and keep away from people, but there was no reason for them all to die.

"Everyone! The door's open! C'mon!" I shouted and squuezed through the opening. Something hot hit my feet and sent my jumping. I landed on my knees and looked at the stuff in my hand. Sand? We were on an island!

The impact of the plane sent me flying out the back, which had been ripped apart on impact.

I felt myself hit the sandy ground, hard. I blacked out.

James

Thanks to Johanne I hadn't been injured, but a few others had.

I pushed myself out of my seat and picked up a small girl, maybe her name had been Maeve, and carried her out of the plane.

I yelled back to the others "We should get out of the plane, the fuel could spark and this place could be in flames in any minute."

Everyone followed me out.

I hope thats okay whoever has control over Maeve

I grabbed Star and pulled her out of the plane. She was in a daze, and her head was bleeding. "Come on, Star. You've been through worse than this." She blinked.

"Duh. Just can't see very well. Seems my head thinks a hammer hit me on the head, too." She pinched the bridge of her nose.

We got off of the plane and looked back. "I'm going back on." I said, looking back to the others, "We're probably going to be here for a while. I'm going to get supplies."

Don't do anything too stupid, Comet. Get out of there if there's even a sign that it might blow.

Whatever.

The island was like nothing I had ever seen before. We landed close to shore where it was like a beach. But, ahead there was a forest with dirt for ground instead of sand.

I guess most islands are like that though. I've never been on one.

Most people were still on the plane, scared out of their minds.

But maybe there was nothing to be afraid of.

Maybe we did die. And this is heaven.

No, Kaleigh. Don't start thinking like that...

Then it hit me. Charlotte!!

I ran back towards the plane, accidently bumping some guy who came out of the plane as well. I didn't care to say sorry. My cat was in danger.

Most of the plane was crashed and smoke was rising from it. Somehow, there wasn't a fire.

Yet.

Which meant I had to hurry. I had no knowledge of planes so I asked a guy if he knew. He seemed "intelligent"; hurrying around for supplies.

I tapped him on the shoulder.

"Don't touch me!" He nearly screamed, "I don't like to be touched!"

I backed off a litte, "Oh. Um, I just wanted to-"

I was interrupted by what I think is his sister, "Comet, please!" she said, in pain. Her head had a touch of blood oozing out.

"Excuse my brother. Can I help you?" She asked.

"I was about to say the same thing to you. Though, yes. I need to find where they put the animals at." I asked, begging for an answer.

I heard Comet grumble a "right here" but his sister shushed him.

"I don't know if it survived but...it should be under the plane. Maybe if you go outside." She said.

I didn't even stop to thank her. I raced back out of the plane and started hitting the botttom of the plane with a stick.

Luckily, it opened. Luggage was everywhere but there where some animal cages. And a meow.

I knew that meow anywhere and anytime.

I exhaled with relief. I fished around and finally saw Charlotte. Her cage was upside down and her green eyes were huge with fear.

I immediatly took her out of her cage and put her in my arms.

"There you go Charlotte. Every thing is going to be-" I didn't finish my sentence because my blood ran cold when someone yelled,

"Fire!!!"

Grabbing Comet, I hurried him away from the fire. He had some supplies in his arms. "We have to stay AWAY from the fire, Comet, not feed it!"

"Geez, Star, don't move so fast. You're bleeding to death, remember?" He growled, throwing the supplies on the ground. He yanked his shoulder away stubbornly. I sighed, then remembered something.

"Crap...what about that girl. She went to get her cat." I frantically looked around. Okay, so I didn't know her but...

Comet swore and glared at me, "You're too nice for your own good." He ran towards the plane at a tremendous speed. I would have followed at the same pace, but I was dizzy from blood loss.

I swear, if you die...

I don't do [/i]dying[/i] He retorted, trying to find her. I really was amazed that he would do that, even though he doesn't like contact.

~Comet~

"Hey, chick!" I called, coughing because smoke from the fire had gotten into my lungs. I heard a very loud 'meow' and headed towards that direction. There she was, looking just as afraid as the cat in her hands. "You know, fire's are dangerous."

A wave of heat swept over us, and I growled. "Crap. You know, I'm going to hate you for forever because of this." I picked her up, very awkwardly, and sprinted out of there. Who freaking cares that I run faster than olympic sprinters. I just didn't want to get my ears burned off.

I set Maeve down by another girl sprawled on the sand.

I'll worry about her later.

I rushed back to the plane, a fire had just erupted but hadn't made it to the luggage yet. Getting luggage off would be smart.

"Hey you!" I shouted to some guy, Luis was his name I think.

"What?" he said.

"Help me get as much luggage off as we can." I instructed.

I started pulling bags out and tossing them down the beach, Luis followed as well as a few others.

"Get out of there!" someone yelled.

We rushed away just as the plane became completely engulfed in flames.

"I hope no one else was in there." I said quietly.
