hmm, too many people are getting attacked by the same thing now xD
i'll just get mari out of it : P
Lol i know right bolt! :B
The only reason i made Maribelle get attacked was to go through with my plan for her.
Not sure what everyone else is doing xD

Maribelle
The shadows finally ceased to speak, but they still echoed. They were lying but somehow those two words could not get out of my head. Emotion was being pulsed through to me, they were trying to save me from this.
Slowly, I opened my eyes flinching at all the sounds that rang in my ears when i finally could hear. My hands raced to cover them from the noise, Joseph was shouting and confused, Julie was screaming, and Raven was still hallucinating.
I ignored Joseph and let him take care of Julie. I went to Raven, close to her ear so she could hear me.
"It's only your imagination, get out. Get out! You can do it Raven." I said loudly. Hoping beyond hope i wasn't too late.
Whoa, everyone suddenly is trying to save Raven? Savee is more dramatic than saver! Not what she needs! It's ending up that she's a drama hog... darn...
-RAVEN-
"It's only your imagination, get out. Get out! You can do it Raven."
I could hear it, but I couldn't see it. My sight was in a whole other world.
"Raven, listen to me. Get out."
I wanted to shout, "I can't! I can't do it!" but I couldn't say that and still say I was tough. I sank to my knees. Ten feet in front of me were my parents. My defenses were gone. I was my parents prisoner, even they weren't real this time. I wanted to die.
So I did what I had wanted to do my entire life.
I mentally strangled the illusions, like Darth Vader.
It felt so good to take revenge.
And the halucinations ended.
I was free of the shadows, wherever their hideous bodies may be.
"You 'kay, Raven?" Mari asked, helping me up to my feet.
"I'm fine," I replied. "And, uh... thanks."

Remember, this was all an illusion.

Okay, we really need to land this ship. Like, now. I'm bored, there's nothing to do on a cruise.
Cool, avitar, Bolt!
KELLY-
Joseph was screaming like a dope.
Maribelle was trying to help Raven.
Julie was helping Maribelle helping Raven.
And I, the great and powerful Kelly, was standing around dumbfounded.
I racked my brain for what Raven had told me a long time ago about her fears... enclosed spaces... Manta Rays... and her childhood. That was probably what she was seeing, her "worst memories". I quickly undid the heart locket around my neck placed in into my palm.
"Guys, make her think happy thoughts!" I said loudly walking over and holding Raven's hand with the locket between our hands.
"Then what, mix it with pixie dust and tell her to fly?" Julie asked with that tired angry tinge to her voice.
"No, dope. When you see the worst things that've ever happened to you for the second time, don't you want a good memory to pop up? Make her remember us."
That triggered it. I guess it would trigger it in everyone. We've all had something bad happen to us, something that we never want to see again...
Joseph stopped screaming like a dope.
Maribelle started to sing some lullaby I had never heard before.
Julie touched her shoulder.
And I just held her hand.
She blinked a few times, like... well, like coming out of a daze, which she was. She looked around at everyone, and started to laugh out loud. I'm not joking, Raven, of all people, laughed and smiled. It was a little scary, even though she has a hearty laugh.
"Are... are you, okay? Raven?" I asked, taking a step back.
"Yeah," she said as she collected herself and placed a frown on her face again. "It's just... you all look so silly! Singing "Kumbiya" and holding hands. Oh, and now I know how to gain personal happiness. So who's up for pizza when we port? My treat, since you all saved my hide."
************
No one ever pay any attantion to Raven ever again! ...At least, pick someone else to take the drama for a while...
Oh, and it wasn't really "kumbiya", it was the lullaby of Raven and Mari.

"The announcer said we'd be going in half an hour... oh look! Twenty minutes ago," Joseph said, checking his watch. "If you have anything to pack, better do it now."
"You know, we really have to go shopping for you sometime," Julie said as she looked Joseph over. "You have no sense of style... at all."
Kelly, Raven and Maribelle looked at each other, grinning.
"What?" Julie asked.
"Oh, nothing," Maribelle said holding back a snicker. "C'mon, girls, let's pack so these two can have some time alone."
"What? No! I didn't mean--" Julie tried as the other three raced off. "It's just his fashion sense sucks! Look at him!"
"Uh, I guess that means plaid polo shirts aren't in?" Joseph said with a half hearted grin.

Walking up to the deck i found the ship was going to dock soon so we would be to New york soon. After that I ran up to the others.
"Hey guys we're gonna...what happened...oh never mind...so like I was saying we are gonna dock soon," I told them.
"So then what," I heard Raven ask.
"Well we take a plane to New York, find the guy Kelly wants. Then fly to D.C to meet the pres and alert them of the shadows. Then we celebrate in out secluded Island home with pizza and video games," I said proudly and collapsed into a lounge chair. "But what happened here anyway?"

"Uhhh... how can I put this shortly... shadows?" I tried to say.
"That doesn't exactly explain,” Gary said leaning back against the railing. “Try talking really fast."
“Okay. Ummm… Maribelle was lying on the ground so I got into her mind and was trapped. We were being mentally attacked by shadows, though I don’t know where the monsters are on this planet. Anyways, we told ourselves that they weren’t real, but we were forgetting what was real, so they were winning. Then Julie came and joined the party, so three people were being mentally attacked.”
“What the heck do you mean by mentally attacked?”
“We’re all telepaths, so they just attacked us through the mind,” I answered. “Like so.”
I placed my hand on his forehead and tried to send a signal to his brain to remember his worst memory. He stepped back, out of my reach, and I looked at my hands.
“I didn’t even know I could do that… You did see you worst living nightmare, right? Don’t worry, I won’t do it again. So anyways, that’s what the shadows did. Then Mari and Julie got out of the attack, but I was still there. The big action moment: Joseph, Kelly, Julie and Mari helped my out of it. Then Julie commented on Josephs clothing decisions, and Kelly, Mari and me started to run off. Then you came up and asked what happened, so Kelly and Mari are safe from Julie’s wrath and I’m in her line of fire. Catch all that?”
“Uh, sure.”
“Because I can run it by you again.”
“No thanks. Why are you so cheery?”
“Don’t worry, I’ll be back to normal by tomorrow. Now, stall Julie for me, would’ya?”
