Alesha:

Peyton was still hurting, and with each different kind of pain, I hurt too. I whimpered. I didn't like this. I snuggled closer to Travis, trying to shut off these horrid emotions, but not able. his voice helped some. His touch a whole lot. "Keep talking please." I begged, still hurting. I heard the growl from Peyton. I knew this wouldn't get better until she stopped hurting. I didn't want Travis to leave though. I sat there debating as wave after wave hit.

::Travis::

Travis continued talking to her. Once he realized that Peyton was still radiating with emotion he stood up quickly, striding over the the tree and knocking her out of it. "Will you stop?!" He shouted. Peyton's brown knitted together in confusion and anger as she stood up.

"What am I doing?!" She yelled back.

"Sending out your emotions!" Travis snapped, growling.

"I can't help that! What to you want me to do?! Leave?!" Peyton sized up to him, growling.

"If it helped Alesha with this pain she has then yeah!" Peyton's angry face fell, replaced with emotionless eyes and an even more emotionless face.

"You self-centered mutt! I'm gonna find Mom and Dad on my own, kill them, and make you suffer for never getting you revenge. Go get eaten by a black dragon why don't you? I hate you!"

"I should be the one hating you! If it wasn't for that little stunt you pulled when we were little our parents would have never left!"

"Y-you know what... I don't ever want to see you again, ever! If I do I swear to god I'll kill you!" And with that Peyton disappeared into the night.

Travis glared at the trail of fur she left behind when she transformed. He turned around and sat back down, Alesha once again in his lap. "Sorry." He grumbled, hanging his head in embarrassment.

Alesha:

I looked at him confused and winced slightly. he was hurting too. "I-I'm sorry. Fo-for getting in the way." I kissed his lips. "You have nothing to be ashamed of. I...I guess you could say I got a bi more magic than I bargained for. I can feel other people's pain. It never turns off. If someone's hurting, either physically or emotionally, then I hurt too." I laid my head on his chest. "I'm really sorry about your sister. She seems really mad." I whispered, loving the feel of beeing here, but upset that I had been the source of the argument.

::Travis::

"Don't be sorry. She's always like that," he lied, "She thinks she can do whatever she wants and it doesn't hurt anyone. She truely is selfish." She never told me that she hated me, or that she'd kill me. He thought with a sigh. "It's not your fault. It's mine actually. I shouldn't have said it was her fault our parents left. Even though that's the truth, I shouldn't have said it." Travis kissed her lightly on the lips, all his hurt disappearing. "I'm sorry,"

Alesha:

I smiled, finally at ease. "Don't be. Let's meet up with the others. I hink there's going to be a war, and they'll need all the help they can get." I blushed. "Mind giving me a ride? I'm still a little exhausted." I smiled. we needed to get to the others and help with the war. I didn't know how much help I would be on the battlefield, but I could certainly help with the medical team. surely someone would be treating wounds, right? I waited for Travis' reply.

*No one try to be a hero. We really need to bring everyone together.*

Lethero Jr.

Lethero collapsed against a tree as he made made it to the other side of the clearing. He had found mostly everone he could. Ryder stood by a another tree and Laney was walking towards him.

"I have a message from your father," she said. "If he does not come in a few hours will are supposed to leave without him."

Lethero was not surprised to hear his father say this, and was guilty on thinking they would have to leave him behind.

A noise came from the distant. Everyone drew their sword and prepared to fight when Lethero senior collapsed into the camp. His fur was all bloody and his form kept wavering between his human and Werewolf form. His armor was ripped in several places to reveal nasty gashes.

"Father?" Lethero junior whispered. "What happened?"

"I bought us some time," his father replied. "Now we need to use it to get out of here. Come on, we're going to go see an old friend of mine."

"Who?"

"Ajle."

Zel-

I flew low over the clearing and changed forms midair, landing softly behind a bloody figure on the ground. I recognized who it was as he struggled to his feet.

"Here, let me help," I said, putting an arm around Lethero's back, ignoring my own injuries. He seemed not to notice me as he continued speaking with his son.

"Come on, we're going to go see an old friend of mine."

"Who?" the younger Lethero asked, looking confused.

"Ajle."

I blinked and shook my head. "We're going to see my mother?"

The older Lethero glanced at me and nodded. I bit my lip.

"But, ah...she can't really see anyone right now, sir..."

"And why not? She won't even admit her own son and an old friend?"

I sighed. "I don't know, I'll try to talk to her. Maybe, since it's you..."

Lethero nodded again and motioned for everyone to get going. "I bought us some time, but not much. We need to get as far away as possible as quickly as possible."

He stepped forward, following the rest of the group, and winced. He lifted his leg a few inches from the ground and examined the ripped armor there.

"Need a ride?" I asked, changing forms again. He shook his head viciously and tried to take another step. I snaked my head around to face him.

"Sir, your pride and dignity will not be stripped from you for riding on the back of a dragon. You're hurt and can hardly walk and you endanger everyone else should we take too long," I pointed out, my voice sincere. "Please, sir, don't risk everyone else just because you're too stubborn to accept help from a friend." My voice grew amused by the end and one scaly eyebrow raised slightly.

*umm... *skims through two pages made* I think I understand...*

[Reone Transentios]

Everyone was bolting out of the bar just then, leaving me alone. I didn't like that feeling, this human emotion was troubling. I had to get out, follow them, find someone to talk to. Once the last of the people dashed out, I was on their trail. As my foot touched the dusty, dirt of the street, I was able to transform again.

My wings spread out and mist started coming out of nowhere. It clumped together and formed a shape, my body. Truthfully, if I wanted it so much, I could live by myself in the clouds. I'd blend in and no one could figure out if one clump of cloud was me or the other. So, why didn't I?

Stop thinking, gain altitude, look around, my mind commanded sharply.

I climbed into the clouds, a safe place for me so not to be caught. But eventually, if someone just happened to be looking up into the sky and see one cloud moving way to fast to be a blob of evaporated water-- that would be different. I shifted directions and dived down in a barrel spin, headed for the trees.

They brushed past me and made little brushing noises as I tried not to crash into one. When I moved, I would turn solid again, making it harder to maneuver in flight since the speed was so fast. Two different smells started to get closer, stronger. One was soft and sweet while the other was gruffer, stronger, almost over powering the other one. It was them.

I groaned and it sounded more like a roar. This wasn't were I wanted to land, but I could turn anywhere. The ground was coming in fast and if I made any sharp turns I'd crash into something. So I did what I could, I landed. Standing still so the solid mass that was my body would turn into cloud again, faint, practically transparent if I stood there long enough. I snickered at Alesha's expression and grinned so that my sharp, snow white teeth would be showing.

What's a matter, scared? my voice echoed from my mind into theirs and I couldn't help but snicker again.
Our happiness here is all vain glory,
This false world is but transitory,
The flesh is weak, the Fiend is slee
Timor mortis conturbat me.

(This is getting way too confusing. I thought Ryder was supposed to be with my character. Let's just make it so it's just Draco, Ra'enya and Sano who are together. But if people keep mixing up what other people say in their posts I'm going to have to drop out of the storybook.)

*...ok I'm kinda lost, I guess I'm with Lethero and them? I think people are getting confused because they're not reading everyone's posts. anyways....*

Ryder's eyes grew wide at Zel's dragon form. She had seen plenty of dragons since this morning but he was beautiful. His scales were like the color of her wings and she smiled without even knowing it. Lethero Jr. nudged her in the side.

"Hmm?" she grunted.

"You alright? Are you injured?" he asked her.

"Just a stupid arrow wound in my wing, I'll be ok though."

"Oh, can you still fly?"

"If I have to, it'll hurt though, why?"

"Just incase you need to."

"Ok...so we're going to see Zel's mother?"

"That's the plan, of course it'll probably only be my father that actually speaks with her." Ryder nodded and sat down on the forest floor, she was pretty tired even if it didn't show.

"We need to get going as soon as everyone has met us here." Lethero Sr. said. Ryder looked up at Lethero Jr.

"He's joking right? Don't we get time to rest?"

"Sure, if you want the humans to catch up with us and slaughter us all." Ryder crossed her arms and growled to herself. She heard some bushes ruffling and Moonie came rolling out with another brownie.

"Hey Moonie" Ryder smiled and then noticed the other brownie. "Who's she?"

"This is my sister, Dalea." She smiled and Dalea nodded.

"Oh, Hi Dalea, I'm Ryder. Moonie has mentioned you a bit."
"After it happened I thought that I'd just try to live as normally as possible and bury it, but things like that don't stay buried. I didn't think it would, but it taints your whole life."

"My desires were bestial, obviously." -Jeffery Dahmer.

Velna:

Velna looked at Lethero Sr., she wanted to go and help him, but she knew it would kill her. She was still to tired to use much majic.

Laney:

Laney held Velna close not wanting to lose site of her. She looked over at Aren and then away. What was it about him that annoyed her so much. She just couldn't figure it out.

Moonie-

"Uh... Trust me... The humans won't be catching up with us for awhile", Moonie said looking back to her sister. "The Brownies from my village can produce a poison from our weapons... it's deathly for most humans if it was a full grown Brownie". Moonie grabbed on to her sister's hand, she was so happy to be even seeing a familiar face... but would it last?

Dalea-

Dalea smilled at Moonie, she had gotten stronger... much stronger since she was nothing but a child. She looked up to the winged woman, "I'm qiute sure Moonie thought I was dead... as well was i beginning to think of her". Dalea could see these creatures body heat levels higher than they normaly would be... they were all jumpy and in attack mode.

Lethero Sr.

Lethero climbed onto Zel's back and rested his sore head against his neck hard, scaly neck. He exhausted and it pained him to move. "Is Ajle far, Zel?" Lethero asked.

"She is many leagues away," he replied, "but I can make the journey in about a day."

"Father, will you alright with your injuries?" his son asked.

"I will survive to Ajle's, and then I am sure she can heal me. Let's go Zel."

"Right away, sir." With one quick downstroke Zel was in the air. Making a single circle over the group below he set off to Ajle's house.

Lethero Jr.

Lethero watched as his father rode away on Zel's back. He knew he would be safe, but could not help but worry about him. He took a deep sigh and turned to see what was left of the force he gathered.

It was not much with Moonie and another Brownie, Ryder, Laney and Velna, and a few others he wasn't sure about.

"Ok, people" Lethero said to the crowd before him. "I know we do not know each other, but we'll have to in order to survive. We need to head in the direction of Ajle's place to at least get away from the humans. I want you all to remain alert and keep your weapons at the ready.

"Now we need to help Ajle and my father destroy this evil and the human army before more deaths are caused. If we survive this, then we can live in a better world."

Zel

I flew quickly towards where I knew my mother would be, hiding among the mist in the mountains. She wouldn't be happy to see me this soon, especially with someone else. And especially when that someone else was Lethero.

I turned my head slightly to speak with the hurt werewolf on my neck. "There are a lot of storms where we're going, and it's more than likely that we'll run into one. If so, I'm going to have to fly above it."

"Do what you must, just get us there are quickly as possible."

I nodded and continued flying. Over forests, rivers, hills, and plains. More than once I sensed Lethero fall asleep and each time I feared that a sudden gust of wind would throw him off, but he always remained on my neck, lightly grasping the two horns that sprouted from the back of my skull.

As I had predicted, we ran into a storm once we were only a few miles away. Lethero was awake and watched the black clouds grow closer. Before we ran into them, I curved my body and shot upwards two hundred feet, leveling out above the clouds.

"Are you alright?"

"I can definitely tell there is less air up here," Lethero replied. "But for now, I'm fine."

We passed the storm after a few minutes of flying and I dived low again. I felt Lethero breathe a sigh of relief.

"Are we almost there?"

"Only a few more miles. Those mountains in the distance are where we're headed."

He chuckled. "Trust Alje to find the most secluded and hard-to-get-to home there is."

"Oh, you should see where my father lives now. If you think this is secluded and hard to get to..."

"What, so I won't get to meet the dragon who had to put up with Alje long enough to have a child?" he joked.

I didn't say anything as I dived low into the mist and found the entrance to the cave.

***** Here's Alje's profile. She'll be my second character for now and if I decide to have her fight as well.

Name: Alje

Age: 250+

Race: Dragon

Gender: Female

Appearance: As a dragon, Alje has deep green scales, with hints of gold and red touching them. She has emerald eyes and is 26' in length and has a 53' wingspan. Her claws are pure white, as are her teeth, and are long and deadly sharp.
As a human, Alje has gold hair that falls to her shoulder-blades and curls. Her eyes are still light green and her skin is pale. She stands 5' 9" and wears dark clothing.

Personality: Alje is mischievous, stubborn, and sarcastic. Or, that's what it was last time Lethero saw her. It hasn't changed much, except for that fact that she's much darker than she was before. Not depressed, just dark.

History: All that really needs to be known is that she helped Lethero form a peace between the mythical creatures and then retreated to her home in the mountains. She caught the eye of a roaming male and Zel came soon after. She has taught her son everything she knows and sent him to find Lethero when she began to fear of another war.

Abilities/Weapons: Like all dragons, Alje can spit fire. But, she can also use the elements of thunder, water, and dark. She is skilled in magic, though it saps her strength to use it. She can also commune with the dead.
Be the cartoon heart. Light a fire, light a spark. Light a fire, flame in my heart. We'll run wild, we'll be glowing in the dark.

Lethero Sr.

Zel landed lightly on the ground and crouched down to let Lethero of his back. When he slid off Zel turned into his human form and walked into the cave. "Mother!" he called into the cave. "I've returned."

"So soon?" asked a femenine voice from the cave. "And I since that you brought another."

"Hey Ajle," Lethero said walking towards the cave. "Nice to see you after all these years."
